It’s a really a bad customer service when it comes to return and discuss the quality of products with them. I bout a gloss paint and my painter asked to return it as it’s not in a good quality and condition, when I back to store and discussed it with painting desk all what they did tried it on A4 paper and said it’s okay we think and then I spoke to a lady supervisor and a decoration manager called Ashton both were unprofessional and rude with me. If you can get the same product from somewhere else please do.33

This was the first time I've been to this store and it was not a good experience. I spoke to three different members of staff about two different products and none of them really seemed know really anything much about them. And only one admitted their lack of knowledge and pointed me to someone who might be able to help better. While one was ultimately able to advise me, I wasn't left with complete confidence in the advice given. Granted, it is a huge store and I wouldn't expected everyone to know a lot about every product category. But they should at least know how to refer a query.

Don't order a bathroom from this company. Cowboys, terrible service, don't turn up on time, left with building site and no guarantee of work being completed soon. Cost extortionate for no input. How can they leave an elderly person in this situation? So upset she wouldn't get dressed today. Shocking business ethics B and Q. I think you are badly in need of a review of your working practices! UPDATE 15th August - full cash price paid end June...now have a toilet...the rest will have to wait until September! Beware of ordering from here.

Collected click n collect item, it was the wrong item when I got there, they had to go and see where the item was and return with it in a battered box, but assured me all the parts were there. Poor!

Decent sized b&q with a large car park near the Trafford Centre. They have pretty much everything you'd expect a b&q to have, as this is a large one, they have a trade section also, there's a substantial gardening section, each section has a good variety of goods. It's never too busy, it's better to approach here from Eccles so that you avoid all the traffic from the m60 where everyone is going to the Trafford Centre.

I visited this store to use Key making machine. It was very easy & quick process to make duplicate keys. It was £7 for first key, £14 for two keys & 3rd key was free.

This review is purely aimed at Jon - he was there for us when we came in to find out how to make a makeshift shower for my elderly mother in law who’s shower cubicle packed in - so we decided to rig up a DIY shower from the bathroom sink tap! Jon was absolutely super - he suggested this, that and the other and he was very helpful with his stanley knife to deconstruct our measly temporary shower hose and head.. We’d have been stuck without him - the world needs more heroes like Jon!

Went looking for storage boxes found some and then discovered that a £6.50 box jumped to £9.50 if I wanted a lid they don't make it very clear that the box does not come with the lid included. Drove a mile further up the road to Asda and found almost identical box for £3 including the lid!

It's pretty much what you would expect from a B&Q to be honest. Their outdoor selection is slightly smaller than others I've been to but still plenty on offer. Definitely worth checking on the app if they stock a particular item as I've been caught out a few times.

Trafford B&Q is quite big. You can find everything you need for your DIY project. There are plenty of parking bays available.

Hard to describe my experience here. Waited at the click and collect counter for over 10 minutes. One other lady in front of me. Loads of staff walked past us. We kept pressing the call button. Finally got seen. I was informed my bark had been collected. Obviously not as I was there. After another 20 minutes, I got my bark. I asked if anyone could help me to the car with it. Was told no but that I could use the trolley they had brought it to the counter on and a member of staff came with me. He watched me struggle with it to my car. He did help me lift it into my boot to be fair. And then, he pushed the trolly away. Even though he couldn't push it to the car!!!!. So in total, a click and collect order took 40 minutes.

I do love a good visit to anything DIY and on todays visit I got everything I needed to hang a gate and sort out a bit of mouldy grout. The selection of all items is great and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Unprofessional store. Ordered a click and collect online to collect within the hour. Travelled 20+ miles and when I got there they cancelled the order because it wasn't in stock. Got an email the next day saying it's ready for collection, travelled back down to collect and the mirror in question was badly damaged on one corner. No explanation why it wasn't quality checked or anything. Very unprofessional not to quality check beforehand and very bad customer service. Would not recommend using this store at all.

Probably one of the only B&Qs where I am confident I'll get everything I want. I come quite a lot to stores in the group and it's never more frustrating when you can't find what you need. Usually I end up at this one. Staff are pretty good too and the layout is a bit better. Thanks!

Fantastic service and super helpful. Had to return a damaged fire surround so spoke to “Cath” the checkout manager who was thoroughly professional and super helpful. She contacted other stores, found my fire at Bury store and arranged for someone to meet me with a replacement item. Brilliant service. Thanks Cath.

"I recently visited B&Q for some garden supplies and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The store had an extensive range of garden essentials, from plants and soil to tools and outdoor furniture. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, offering excellent advice tailored to my gardening needs. What really stood out was the quality of the products, which were both durable and aesthetically pleasing. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, making it a one-stop-shop for all my gardening requirements. I will definitely be returning for future garden projects and highly recommend B&Q to any gardening enthusiast."

Don't trust their click and collect. They used bait and switch with me to substitute an inferior product to my order. Asked them to cancel or pick up and they refused. They don't answer the phone either. Avoid

Was in there twice last week and both times the staff went above and beyond to help, and were so sweet to my kid. 10/10 for the ladies working at b&q

Decent sized store so covers off almost all the DIY bases. It's not the cheapest but normally competitive enough and saves shopping around. Main issue is the local road/traffic situation, don't even think about visiting anywhere near rush hour.

All very friendly and helpful staff especially the wood cutting guy, gave him a list of cuts and hey presto he got.it all out of one board for us.

Some amazing staff at this store. I was blown away by the customer service of Julie Tate who helped me sort out a kitchen even though it's not her job. It was really stressful but she made it feel so much easier. Also Bruce from the kitchen department was a real gem with his amazing assistance and knowledge. Staff like those two are real diamonds. Thank you!!!!

I went in store and ordered 40 packs of flooring to be delivered in my house, reason being is I am 7 months pregnant and cant carry them myself. I booked a day off work for them to be delivered today. When they come to bring them in, they told me that someone forgot to load the truck, they were not on there. I called customer service and told them and asked for it to be delivered today as I booked a day off and paid for contractors to come tomorrow to fit it. Im single and on my own, ive lost a lot of money as i still have to pay the contractors. They told me they MIGHT be able to deliver it today but it will be a "Curb side delivery" where they will leave it outside on the floor. I asked why cant they just bring it in the house on the floor? This is why i got it delivered i cant pick it up myself. They told me no. What a joke. Disgusting service. How am i suppose to bring this in now? I have no one to help.

Standard B and Q Standard big box store outlet. Anything DIY relate. Good place to go get the things Paints are a little expensive. Wood cutting service is brilliant. If you are more than a DIYer then get on of their trade cards

Staff smoke right in the entrance. Staff rude and unhelpful when asked about the whereabouts of an item. Constantly being told to check an area that doesn't have the product and rushed along while other older customers are shown where items are and helped. Wont be funding your wages any longer.

Great supplies of DIY supplies, paints etc. Carl was super helpful! We struggled with some garden equipment which he happily set up and explained step by step how to use, thanks for all your help Carl!

Prefer to order on line for collection, better than turning up and they havent got what you need. Always found the staff knowledgeable, friendly and polite. Bit expensive than other places but if sign up to membership they send money off vouchers and discount codes regularly

Went to pick up some coloured grout and came away with a couple of outside storage boxes which had been discounted. Good for keeping potting compost in and the odd gardening tool. Reduced to £16 each.

Did click and collect. Got the text that it was ready that night so collected the following day. Went straight in and was easy to spot collection point as it had a massive sign!! Got served straight away. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Excellent

It's great for your DIY needs. However it does pay to shop around for the best price. Went on a Sunday to see about shower wall panels, and the whole help with bathroom remodel, help with new kitchen and such... All closed. So you can't place an order in store on a Sunday. Would have been nice to know before we got there. It certainly doesn't say that when you search for their opening times.

Very good & few spends. Good lots of sign easy to find it thumb up. But not happy with the car parking white lines wrong measure for wides bit narrow not enough spares for open the doors hard get out of car. Need equal same measure for wides as others good car parking can open the door to get out. Need do something for the car parking bit more spares white lines. The blue for disable car parking really good wide enough to open doors.
