Just
a
few
hours
before
our
flight
to
Sicily,
I
received
an
email
that
the
room
I
prepaid
for
was
not
available.
The
email
offered
to
put
me
in
a
lessor
hotel
that
they
own
down
the
street
or
they
can
cancel
my
reservation
leaving
me
with
no
other
place
to
stay
and
no
time
to
research
another
place
before
my
flight.
I
took
the
lesser
hotel
because
I
had
no
choice.
This
is
called
a
bait
and
switch.
The
lessor
hotel
had
a
bar
outside
with
loud
people
and
loud
music
into
the
late
evening.
I
prepaid
to
have
the
buffet
breakfast
on
the
top
floor
of
the
hotel
for
each
day
of
my
stay.
I
was
told
after
I
arrived
that
they
would
only
have
the
buffet
breakfast
for
the
first
day
and
I
would
need
to
eat
in
the
corner
bar
for
the
second
morning.
Not
having
the
buffet
breakfast
that
I
prepaid
for
is
another
example
of
a
bait
and
switch.
For
the
2
days
that
I
stayed
in
their
lesser
hotel,
nobody
wore
a
mask
due
to
the
government
policy
changes
but
some
rude
employee
harassed
me
and
asked
me
to
wear
a
mask
just
to
check
out.
Nobody
else
except
him
was
wearing
a
mask
but
he
felt
the
need
to
harass
me.
He
had
a
coworker
sitting
directly
next
to
him
who
was
not
wearing
a
mask
when
he
harassed
me.
If
this
hotel
wants
to
make
everybody
wear
a
mask,
that
is
their
business
but
be
consistent.
If
however
no
employee
or
customer
except
this
rude
employee
is
going
to
wear
a
mask,
then
do
not
harass
me
about
it.
Between
the
rude
employee
and
the
two
bait
and
switches,
I
have
no
choice
but
to
rate
this
as
a
1
star
and
recommend
avoiding
unless
you
want
to
be
treated
rudely
and
not
get
what
you
paid
for.
