We really liked this place. It had a great atmosphere and some of the best chicken tenders ive ever had

My husband and I love Blue Tractor! We’ve been there multiple times and have never been disappointed. The fried green beans and basically my favorite food in the whole wide world. Last time I was there I tried the mushroom burger and was very pleased and pleasantly surprised! It was delicious! My husband tried their famous Bloody Mary and the smoked beef brisket and LOVED it! We’ll be back soon, Blue Tractor! Don’t you worry your pretty little face. 😘

Absolutely fantastic! We got the dry rub smoked wings with Buffalo sauce, blue cheese, and bbq on the side along with a side of pork Mac and cheese! So good! The wings had so much flavor and the Mac and cheese was very creamy and probably the best I’ve had!

It's an interesting place to see. The service was good. The downside.... The food was horrible. No flavor at all except in the BBQ sauce. I had the dryest Mac and cheese ever!

We called in to order some late night food and went to pick it up. It was about an hour before closing, so the inside was pretty empty. But, with all the woodwork, it was a very welcoming vibe. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to double-check my boxes and make sure the order was right. And it was delicious! We got an order of Fried Pickles, Whole Hog Quesadillas, and Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese. The portions were generous, and the flavor was incredible. The meat was tender and perfectly smoked. We were extremely pleased to find something so amazing at 9 o'clock on a Monday. 😆 Thank you!!!

Nice atmosphere and service. We got the smoked wings and pulled pork quesadillas. Smoked wings were very tasty with the dry rub and sauce. Quesadillas were generously filled. We later got the beef brisket for pickup and was not impressed. It was tough and too chewy.

Nice spot in the middle of Old town TraverseCity. Pricey but nice stop for drinks and apps. Spacious and the Decor is really nice: they also have a bar and it is located near a bunch of cute shops.

Our favorite restaurant in the area. Party of two. Seated quickly. Fast and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. BBQ pulled pork platter is on point. Nice selection of draft beer too! Highly recommended.

What I appreciate is that this restaurant doesn't try to do a hundred different items, the menu is one page front and back. They make only a couple of things, but they do them exceptionally well. I had the pulled pork macaroni and cheese, and it was very good. The restaurant had a good selection of different beers, wines, and mixed drinks.

My family had a great experience here. We wanted some comfort food and TV’s to watch the World Cup. My wife swears these are the best wings she’s ever had. We enjoyed the game, food and a beer. The staff was very helpful too.

This is the BEST food! I am vegetarian and absolutely loved my meal. We were so pleasantly surprised The mushroom burger is the best I have ever had. My meat loving friend even agrees The fries are delicious and thick, the bbq chips are homemade and full of flavor. There are also great sides. I love the mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes were SO GOOD Delicious cocktails! They have a great mule I would love to go back. 5 stars!

Food is good, definitely need to go again and try somee other things. Awesome Happy hour drinks $1 off and poured strong. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere is pleasant.

2k+ reviewers are not wrong! We stopped in for this little snack and some beers on New Years Eve and they knocked it out of the park. They have an especially good homemade Buffalo sauce and a sweet and warm BBQ sauce. Make sure to try them on something!

AMY was swamped when we sat at the bar, but was working so hard. Looked understaffed, when she did wait on us she was smart and knowledgeable amd efficient The food was excellent Would return again for the pulled smoke pork!

We stopped in here while on a family vacation. Plenty of options for varying tastes... the "whole hog quesadilla" was a hit with everyone who tried it, and the chest jalapeño dip was so good!

The service was great, definitely a pretty restaurant to eat at. I have had plenty of good Barbie Que in my life in all different parts of the country. This Barbie Que is alright at best. The brisket was dry for my taste and the Mac and cheese was a little on the harder side. It was definitely better later than when it was served. The chicken was pretty good and so was the sweet potato fries. If they stepped up their kitchen they would have it all.

We had just arrived in town & were starving. We did a Google search & the reviews & images for this restaurant locked us in. We were seated right away & the server promptly arrived to get drinks & our order. The food came out quickly, too! Portions are generous and we real enjoyed what we had. Hubby got ribs, pulled pork & fries. I got their Mac & cheese with pulled pork. It was so yummy. We would definitely come back here again if we're ever in the area! Apologies on the pics as we dug in before we could remember to take a photo... it was that good...

The BEST burger in all of TC! I have eaten at Blue Tractor many times in the past. However recently tried their Blue Tractor Burger and HOLY COW! it was the best burger I've ever had period! Along with the bacon, and their fries their is no comparison for a burger in all of TC! Their service is fast, and polite too! This place really has gotten everything down to a T!

My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip up to Traverse City for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. One of the places we decided to dine was the Blue Tractor Barbeque. Upon our entrance, our noses were filled with very pleasant smells. We were seated very quickly on a Friday night around 6:30 pm. Our table seemed a bit sticky but we were informed that is the way they are. Our server was TJ and he was very nice, friendly, and funny. After sitting down and trying to decide what we wanted to drink, we started by asking for some water. We were never provided the water until later on after our food had arrived. We did have some nice and strong alcoholic drinks to sip on though. After receiving our food, all I can say is that our mouths couldn't get enough. My boyfriend ordered the pulled pork macaroni and I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with fries. Both were to die for and they were served in a quick manner with great-sized portions. I think it's safe to say, if we are ever back in town, we know this is a great place to dine!

Wow, this place was amazing. Our party got the burrito, quesadilla, Mac and cheese pulled pork and chicken fingers. So good and our waitress was really nice too.

The food was delicious, we had a very good time there. Hope to be back soon!

My family had a lovely meal with great service. Our waitress was very attentive with refilling drinks and bringing extra silverware and napkins. My only wish would be that they were a little more careful with plating the pulled pork because unfortunately I did not get any pork but basically all fat on my plate while my mom had a great portion of meat with very little/no fat. I would suggest taking a close look right away if you order the pulled pork dinner to make sure you are getting a good portion of meat vs fat. Besides that, everything was delicious so I didn't feel like I was leaving hungry and everyone else's meals looked great (especially the ribs, I might try that next time). The fried pickles were yummy and I loved the mashed potatoes. I have had other positive experiences here so I'll definitely go back the next time we're in town!

We've been trying to make it to this place for a while so maybe our expectations were too high. Place was dead and the food was good but nothing to go crazy over.

Got to Blue Tractor about 5.30pm on Saturday, Oct 15. 2022, also Sweetest Day. No wait for a table and drinks served quickly. Our dinners were hot & delicious. I had the pulled pork Mac & Cheese and my husband had the Big Squealer. We will come back next time we come to Traverse City.

Definitely a place to enjoy some awsome BBQ, beer, and watch the game. They slowly smoke the ribs for hours then the throw it on the grill. The meat just falls off the bone its so tender.. The wings are to die for, they are fresh and the skin is nice and crisp. The service was good. Definitely worth checking out.

Amazing!! Service was excellent. I had the chicken and waffles. Hands down the best I've ever had. Perfect waffles, chicken was cooked perfectly and breading was tasty and crisp. Plus they put bacon on top. Hot sauce was perfect! Loved it!!!!

The brisket was nothing but fat with no flavor, chicken was very dry and Mac n Cheese was bland. Pulled pork, Ribs and mashed potatoes were pretty good. Staff was great! Overall unfortunately we would not go back.

Service here was decent. Food was mostly mediocre. The brisket sandwich was dry and covered in entirely way too much cheese, I'm guessing to try and cover the entirely way too dry brisket. The fries were really solid though. My wife was pretty happy with her salad as well. Not sure why you can't buy meat by the pound in the dining area though, only to-go. Very odd. Overall, I find this place overpriced for what you get.
