Cool and clean location in treasure island. The front desk clerk can be a bit of a tough cookie though. I was just walking into the building with some friends at night and she already asked us to quiet down. We weren't even inside yet, nor were we that loud.

This was my partner and I staying for a weekend again, our third time here. First time using the pool and we loved that it was warm while the ocean was cold. We always make it memorable and these beach rooms beat a chain hotel anytime by quality-to-pricing. (I read other reviews of this place that had complaints, and I don't feel the same bc we love this place. Staff are kind and helpful btw. The people claiming otherwise probably need to evaluate how their stress is while traveling and ask if they're getting a reciprocated reaction of how they treat people 🤔) As far as any feedback i have, it'd be on a minor detail: I do wish they'd update the room's bed frames in the future. People must like to sit at the edge and it droops down and ruins the foot of the mattress which isn't the Inn's fault. But maybe updated frames and mattresses would protect that from happening. We never feel like we have less than a five star stay, and we already hope to be back again!

Room 404 is the worst bed ever! They are privately owned apartments. The view was great on the bay side. The apartment is very small very very run down. SO OLD AND RUSTY!. I am surprised the refrigerator is still running. Rusted down the entire side. But The bed is way more important. GO GET A NEW MATTRESS. or I suggest you bring a topper. Unless you are in your 20's you will be in pain!

Even though the resort was under renovation, we were able to enjoy the pool, island girl bar and easy beach access. It's really a special place. Once you're there, you'll get it. We stay there after our Disney world visit to relax. It's how we end our vacation after days in the park with all the people and long days.

Awesome place to stay for a few days. They will be making renovation so the rooms will be updated. It's a little pricey but overall a great stay. Employee's were very accommodating.

The room was nice. The people was very friendly. I loved the location. We stayed there 4 days. The only problem we had was twice I went to get a beach towel and both times they didn't have any. Other then that we loved it and will be back. We recommend it to everyone.

This was an amazing hotel p we had a kitchen in our hotel room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the beach. Everyone was super nice great staff. Maybe when they're done renovating they will have more food options on site other than that it was amazing.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and would have liked to stay longer! The hotel is pretty outdated and you will see some rust and peeling paint (keep the price point in mind). But the room setup is perfect! Double bed and a kitchenette with mini fridge, two burner stove and cabinets with dishes, glasses, silverware and utensils for your use. Would be great for a longer stay. Our view of the beach wasn't direct but we could still see it from our balcony. The pool and pool bar were closed for construction, but I knew that when I booked. This is the section of Gulf Blvd where the hotels are older and privately-owned- and generally pretty retro. So this one fits right into the neighborhood. Beach access is great as it's far less crowded than the public beaches. The two staff members we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Parking is ample. Looking forward to staying here again once the remodeling is done!

Nice hotel, friendly service, horrible parking. Our room was very nice. That's about it. We definitely won't be back, but it's not because of the hotel..well not the main reason. It would be a good vacation spot if you're in the retirement age. This isn't the place for young people unless you bat for the wrong team. Seems to be a lot of that going on out here. Seeing as it's 3am and I'm still awake, I can't wait to leave this place.

I booked room 504 privately for 3 months. I signed the agreement not knowing there would be construction going on. Based on the construction, I decided to cancel. 6 days a week of noise, dust, pool closed and no elevators. I contacted the owners for my $1200US. I was told that my deposit was not refundable. I was so disappointed as I planned my winter there. The unit is not posted at all on airbnb as they can't rent the unit under these circumstances. I believe that this very unfair to me. Be careful booking #504.

Worst check in experience I have had in Florida. We got there early which is on us. The man at the desk said he would call us early if the room was done early. This is all understandable. Anyone who tried to check in earlt, got told the same thing. No one ever got called, but understandable, its early. At 3pm we checked again to see if our room was ready. The man said it still was not. I went up to the 5th floor where my room was to check to see if anything was being cleaned. Not one room was being cleaned on the whole floor. I came back down and a new girl was at the desk. I asked her if the room was ready and she said she did not know. She said she had to text the crew. The person she needed walked by and she asked her. She said she was not sure if the room was ready. The lady at the desk said the lady was going to have to go up and check the room. Thirty minutes later we still had no answer if the room was ready or not. Check out time for this hotel is an early 10:00am. I understand the world is short staffed these days. Instead of leading people on and playing the It's not ready, I have no idea if it's ready, be upfront or get a better housekeeping tracking system.

This inn left something to be desired...clean floors, decent elevators and better parking. Crossing the street was a death trap, but don't worry about your feet getting dirty they are already matching the street from walking in the hotel room.

Has a great connected clean beach. Rooms have different fun themes. Staff is helpful. Priced right. It's not 5 star hotel. But it's priced right. Clean and nice.

Don’t be fooled by their 4 star rating. There must be a hundred 1-2 Star reviews. This place is a joke. They don’t clean the floors, staff is rude, dirty, and no parking. Learn from my mistake. Don’t take my word for it… just look at all the negative reviews (and there’s a lot) Set the filter to lowest rating and look for yourself. Do yourself a favor. Find somewhere else to stay. I’m not one to leave a review. This place is just that bad people should be warned. We spent $3000 to stay a few nights and they charged us over $800 for a couch. An old stained couch.

Buyer beware. Room is fine, pretty view, but the resort does not have hot water for showers. When presented with the problem, the front desk reaction was, "Yeah, sorry about that." Full price stay for construction noise (they were fully transparent about that) and no hot water.

My husband and I stayed only one night recently and we would never stay there again nor would we ever recommend this place. The entire facility interior and exterior was filthy, falling apart, exposed wires, peeling paint, horrible carpets, missing tiles in our room, cabinetry falling apart, rust in several places, and there was a terrible odor in our room. The desk agent gave us a key card to an already occupied room and when we opened the door and discovered this it was shocking and I’m sure invasive to the guests already in that room. The desk agent offered no apologies, and he was very unprofessional as well.

The Island Inn is in a great location and the view from our room was spectacular! Staff was friendly. However, the room was aged. Decor on the walls was fitting and calming. But furniture, floors, baseboards, shower, bathroom area, closet doors all need repair or replacement. Pool area clean and great, beach awesome. It is sad to pay so much and not have updates and repairs needed. To me the room felt like cleaning and upkeep isn't a priority. But I did love the view and pool!!!

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY here! When you check in (if you book directly through the hotel) they have you sign a document that allows them to charge your card an unlimited amount of money for damages they accuse you of with no real proof. If you comb through these reviews you will see a common complaint… the rooms are DIRTY! They charged my credit card for $807 for a dirty nasty couch. Unbelievable. I learned a valuable lesson. I will never stay at a resort that keeps your credit card on file. I’m not sure if it was property management company or the owner. I can not imagine making a renter pay for my new couch. All I can say is what goes around comes around. I am adding this part of the review after the response from the hotel.. I wanted to update with a picture of the “irreversible damage”. Doesn’t the response sound so kind on google? Funny how when the public can read comments the response is so nice. The hotel didn’t even so much as call before or after charging my call. Just sent an email with an update invoice total and the Amazon receipt. You can imagine how kind the manager was when I called outraged about the $807 charge that wasn’t approved. This place is seriously a joke.

The Island Inn Resort was just what we were looking for. Room 414 was perfect newly renovated. The room was clean with the just the right amount of space and oh the View of the Gulf and Sunsets were absolutely breathtaking from our Balcony. The only thing that needs changed is the Shower head it sprayed to hard but not enough water spray. We will definitely be coming back here for years to come. Thanks so much for sharing your room with us :)

The good things first. The room was awesome. The view was amazing. The pool was fun. Drinks were good. Now the shower didn’t work to well. The vent sounds like an airplane. Our bed was broken and they did fix that.

**Read the reviews before selecting room!** Great location, although Room was in need of a deep clean! I paid for an executive room- 518, but I wish I had paid more for the penthouse, in hopes for a little cleaner room. The issue with this place is the maintenance provided by the management company. Housekeeping needs to properly clean! Our room was late being ready by about 30 minutes. The floor was still wet, smell of cleaner still lingering, upon our entry. BUT hair all over floor, microwave was filthy. Clean/paint floor boards. When we left food on counter, the ants came quickly!!! Bed/ mattress needs changed- very lumpy. Coffee stained mugs, *Note for Housekeeping-vinegar removes this. Room air conditioner needs replaced or proper cleaning. Elevators need air conditioning, and carpet removed... mildew smell. Tiki Bar was EXCELLENT!!! If you can afford, spend a little more for a better experience somewhere else.

my first impression, yes yes yes! Everything I wanted. Right off the beach, quiet great location, nothing fancy, basic but location is key! I was in room 214 & I loved it. It’s more updated than others (our family had 2 other rooms to compare) it’s super cute beach vibe all the way. Would recommend this room. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because no food on premises (yes there’s a bar by the pool but the food selection is horrible from microwave burgers! To frozen pizzas, definitely a no!) & the fact that I was rushed, kicked out with a 10am check out (multiple banging/ knocking to get out from cleaning staff way before 10!) who checks out at 10am??? I heard of 11 or 12 but before 10?! I hate being rushed & for this reason I don’t know I might not return.

Highly recommend. The location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff makes this place a winner. Would also recommend to book directly from the site. The rooms rank: basic, standard and executive. Go "executive" if you require fully updated appliances and a contemporary feel. It was well worth it and the suite looked exactly like the advertised photos. I enjoyed an oceanfront condo and my only complaint is that I didn't stay long enough. Also met another family that I still keep in touch with, which is in line with the family friendly (but far from cheesy) environment described in other reviews. There's a tiki (full)bar in the pool area that serves hot dogs, burgers, ice-cream, and some other snack items. And yes- THE SUNSET is all the rave. The beach is more private, not crowded and offers amenities at an additional cost. There's parking included and service upon request. Restaurants, groceries and John's pass very close by. At the end of day, will be back and hopefully with a larger crew. Just my two cents...

Awesome! Stayed in room 415, (the mermaid room) waterfront view of the Gulf. It was very clean and nice, (looked newly renovated) had everything we needed. We were able to cook on a two burner stove top and it also included a air fryer oven and full fridge. Our room had a king bed and a queen Murphy bed so we were able to sleep 4. With a couch/living space. The grounds were really clean, everyone was so friendly, the staff was very accommodating. The beachside bar was hopping and they serve snacks (pizza, cheeses sticks, etc) throughout the day. Very centrally located, so easy to get to. Can’t wait to go back
