Hospital and other services are good except it’s pharmacy. Pharmacy service is very bad. The staff over there is also very bad with customers. It will take too long for us to get the medicine. Cost wise outside shops are good. Here cost is too high , long waiting time and rude behaviour.

Metropolitan Hospital nearly 30 years old hospital situated 500 metres away from kokkala junction on kodungallur road. Good services are available from experianced Doctors . Facilities like xray, CT Scan, medical shop, 24 hrs causality etc are available. Spacious parking also there. Services of the hospital staff may be improved. A good hospital....

Casualty and treatment was okay, Need to improve pharmacy department and their administration. There is very delay in billing. Security staff and other medical staffs are good with their service and help.

I somehow feel that the hospital is a bit underrated. The doctors and staff whom I came across were extremely good in behaviour, friendly. Yes of course few bad elements for eg the lady attendant in the ultrasound scanning dept. She has an arrogant approach to the patients and I myself saw she shouting at a lady patient. I felt that was very rude and inappropriate. The facilities are kind of ok. The staffs are following covid protocols for eg the lift operator was only allowing 4 people at a time. People were feeling offended but yes it is the necessity of time. I had food from the canteen and it was delicious and prices were reasonable. The staff again were very friendly. They provide paid parking at 20rs for 4 wheeler. Front desk staff were also quite helpful when queries were asked. Overall I had a good experience. Will update from the next few visits.

I am going to this hospital for all kind of treatments for my family members from years. I gave 4 star due to the medical staff. They have adequate knowledge and does whatever possible only to make people feel better and stand on feet rather than scaring you to get some extra days of hospitalization to mint more money. Their doctors and nurses are far better and very experienced than othwr known hospitals in thrissur like Daya. If you are looking for infrastructure based reviews I would say like others say about rooms or other facilities like canteen but when it comes to an experienced doctor or nursing staff who makes u understand your actual status and immediately reaches the roomwithin seconds when called as compared to some hospitals where we have to wait foe sometimes 1 to 15 minutes.Casuality is very small but efficient enough and canteen food is fine not that great its not that tidy as you compare to other hospitals but food is affordablecomparedto hi tech hospitals, .again iam stressing out that this is the best for treatments. Other things I found about them was for many years they didn't support cashless claims and reason they provided is they had bad experience so they don't want to go for cashless and we were only left with option of going for claiming after paying from pocketbut now they have started accepting only few selected insurance companies.

We are consulting this hospital only because of Dr.Jyothi Mary Jose. Pharmacy is the worst place were you will see minimum of 6 staffs and we have to wait minimum of 45 minutes eventhough you are having only few medicines. My experience with this pharmacy delay and behaviour remains the same since 2019. Its a 5 star for the Dr. Jyothi Mary Jose who is superb in her profession and dedication. Hospital facility is good but needs improvement.

Pregnancy related doctor and their services are good. But the services provided by the hospital and management is very very bad. Pharmacy is very bad, 5-6 staffs are there to take medicine, still need to wait minimum 30 min to get medicines. You have to save lift operators numbers also when you admitted in hospital. Night there is no Lift. Management ordered to turn off the lift at night ( This informed by the employees) Drinking water provided in room is clorin water.

My daughter fell from cycle and her arms broken. I first consulted SUN hospital and they couldn't find it and wasted 3 weeks saying that no problem and it's just a swelling. Then we had some doubt since the swelling was not reducing and the child was in pain . So we consulted another doctor and he suggested Operation. Being a layman and worried about my 3 yrs old child we consulted 3 other doctors to make sure that the Operation is the only option. All recomended operation and we done the operation at the First doctor who suggested Operation. Now on 20.4.23 the screw was removed but we felt some difference in the way my daughter keeping her hand so my husband and my daughter went to see DR. PROMOD ORTHO ( one of the doctor from whom we took second opinion before surgery) . The doctor mercilessly scolded my husband infront of my child saying that if you trust the doctor who done the operation why do you came for second opinion. We are hearing this after paying RS 400 as his consultation fee. My child had this situation since we didn't take a second opinion in the intial stage. I don't want my daughter to leave with deformity. I spent 1.5 lakhs to correct her hand . What wrong in me as a parent reassuring whether my child is well and good. I am a customer and all my rights are denied here .

Though being a Thrissurite, just before getting admitted to the hospital, I checked out the reviews( because, I am not a part of Thrissur anymore, hence, wanted to google about the Hospital + it's my first time experience with the Hospital) of the Hospital recently and the reviews made me disappointed to the core. But, after being admitted here, I didn't find any of the Negativities that are expressed in Google about the Hospital. For hygiene, I'll give the Hospital 5/5. For behaviour of the staff(both Medical and Non-medical Staff), I'll give 5/5 and the doctors too deserve the best scores. The food from the mess/canteen too are made in such a way that they don't harm our physical body. As in Salt is used in required quantities only. And the food, doesn't have much oil content in them. In terms of taste too the food scores 5/5. A request to many people to stop spreading unnecessary rumours, especially, if you can't see the beauty of things, properly.

I had very horrible experience in the labour room, went through 19 hrs of labour process, I had a normal delivery, the staff n doctors had not given proper timely attention, my baby had pooped(meconium) inside the tummy, still the doctor didn't show any sense of urgency to fasten my delivery process, due to the excess strain on my vagina of prolonged labour time my vagina had severe swelling. It took almost 1 year post delivery to recover from the trauma. I will never suggest this hospital to anyone.Go for a 24/7 emergency care hospital.never suggessuggest this hospital.

Only Dr.JyothyMary her Labour room staffs and NICU staffs are excellent. Otherwise Hospital is totally Pathetic.. including Parking Staffs, Nursing staffs,Pharmacy Department staffs, Receptionist and Mosquito Rooms.

One of the worst pharmacy ever visited. Too much time billing and delivery of medicine. Very pathetic pharmacy. After waiting one hour and after making payment pharmacy informed there is no medicine. How paathetic. Never visit this pharmacy.

They give rooms to some for low cost nd to some for high cost.... i think looking at patient's attire only they are charging..... i am going to make a youtube video on this anyways with all the different kinds of bills with proof......only coz of gyaenec department we r still coming here.....

I'm writing my review with one day experience. Hospital in the city premises with just adequate infrastructure. Dept. of Gynaecology is excellent.

If you are going to claim medical insurance, don't opt for metro hospital, they will make you run around the hospital. Very bad attitude towards the patients.
