Good and tasty food, large selection of beers, but most importantly, a very friendly and welcoming bartender. Definetely a place to check out if you are passing by.

Absolutely wonderful calamari and selection of incredible IPA’s. Best service ever- we even got some Liquore di Terrano at the end for free! Highly recommend you check it out and ask about the local specialties.

Extraordinary. It was our waitress’ first day and she was really attentive and spoke very good English. The food was great - fresh, well prepared and absolutely delicious. It was a perfect evening in Trieste. Absolutely recommend it!

Noreen loved the gnocchi. The tang from the spicy Pljeskavica combined with IL Conte Gelo Italian Valhalla IPA beer brings tears of joy as I write.

Food was good and the beer was nice. The chef however made various racist comments about his sous chef and we had to leave. Unacceptable and absolutely disgusting, do not give these people your money.

This place is great, a nice selection of local beers. They also have Guinness if that’s your thing. The food is incredible! At a really good price too! It’s really quirky, lots of writing on the walls. The staff are super friendly! I have felt welcome from the first time I visited.

Stopped in for a quick beer only. Bartend was friendly and welcoming. Quirky decor and fun. Good music and perfect for a drink around 3 pm when other things are closing. I found a Gluten-free IPA from Seattle which was nice. My friend tried a beer infused with cucumber.

Small but brilliant selection of beer on tap including an Italian Christmas beer that our host specifically recommended, which is right this second richly entertaining us. The food was absolutely excellent; I had a trofie dish that was cooked perfectly, smooth and flavoursome, and we shared a dessert of palachinke that was perfect in its texture. This pub-restaurant is both a tribute to the marriage of Balkan and Italian food culture and an excellent place to find genuinely good craft beer in Trieste. And the host is good fun!
