Birds whispering, blue water flowing slowly, sun rising, and smooth air passing by face, and a cup of tea 🍵 wow!! It was the best scene from my trimbakeshwar trip. I was out of time but definitely will witness it again and try to spend all evening over there.

Nestled in hills a water body with clear blue water, twittering of dont know which and how many birds , breeze to soothe ...it becomes picturesque during monsoons ..wooly clouds hang over the place and rains make the things as lovely as a painting ..but the beautiful places are targeted to garbage of wrappers ,plastic bottles, remains of cooking and liquor cans thrown by thoughtless visitors which needs to be checked ...

No amenities at all, no restrooms, no shops for snack shops, etc. Prep well before visiting if you plan to spend a substantial amount of time here. Best time to visit is in rains though if you go in the winter, you can have a nice pic if here. Don't litter.

Magnificent view of the dam on Tryambak-Ghoti road. The road divides the reservoir, where you have numerous trees by road side. ..... A perfect picnic spot! Mumbai patrons visiting Tryambakeshwar are highly recommended to take detour from Ghoti and take lunch break here - subject to you carrying tiffins (nothing is available nearby) and bear small stretches of rough road

Awesome weekend get away with beautiful scenic view.

The dam is accompanied with a bridge cutting amidst the lake. The road of the bridge itself is very old and plagued with potholes , needs some serious repair. There's a car park (with shade) before the bridge begins and an entry towards this view point but it's shut due to covid. There are a few picnic spots around the bridge and anytime of the day you'll be met with other tourists or local here just for a fun time. The sunrises & sunsets are a steal. But highly depends upon the month of the year, sometimes you'll get a splendid clear sky sometimes a hazy blur horizon. There isn't much to see at the view point honestly. But it's a chill place to be with closed ones and talk and have a good time. People do leave behind a lot of garbage, get responsible citizens, upgrade your civic sense.

We visited from the back side of the dam, it was peaceful and scenic. Can do family picnic too for a day at the spot. There is place where we can have food...take nap...and just relax under the tree 😉
