New gem! That place is fantastic! The staff was super polite and very caring. The Nasi Gorang with prawns was fantastic and it had quite loads of prawns. We had two mains, two sides and a few drinks and paid less than 2000 Rs 👌 Absolutely worth it.

We had hot hot pol roti at this restaurant. Very friendly staff. Simple place.But prices were little bit too much.

It was slow season when I visited so there was only one other person in the restaurant and one person serving and cooking! I ordered the ginger chicken and the salad, both were delicious! Had chocolate ice cream for dessert [requested chopped banana in it and he did!] and it was yummy. If you don't like your food salty, let them know. Many restaurants in Sri Lanka over salt the food. Everything here was made from scratch, so he was able to adjust. No liquor license, so BYOB if your want some beers or wine!

He made us a big portion of Dal with rice even though it was not on the menu. It was delicious for a good price. I even played a round of chess against the owner. I lost but at least he was happy. Would recommend for sure!

One of the worst meals we've ever had. We each just got a pack of instant noodles on a plate. It tasted exactly like a Maggi 5 minute terrine. The ice cream was very tasty.

A nice place in Uppaveli, good prices, seems like a really nice family that run it, they were kind to me :) Some veggie/vegan options I believe, I had vegetable noodles, just ask for it without butter (usually its cooked without anyway). I enjoyed a lovely, delicious and hot bowl of cream of chicken soup, it was really good! Then I had a chicken salad which was very small but tasty. I asked if they could add potatoes but instead they had added thin French fries which went soggy in the salad? A bit odd but nice food. Had to takeaway as I was being eaten alive by mosquitos! Could maybe do something about that for clientele comfort. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely eat here again! Service was good but English limited.

This restaurant became our favorite place to have lunches and dinners. The prices are average, but the food is really good and portions are so big that my wife and I were usually sharing. Our favorite dish here is chicken chop suey. The restaurant isn't on the main street, so traffic here is not a problem, you are not going to be bothered by countless tuk tuks.

For dinner I visited the place with my extended family, total of 8 adults and two kids. We were from Colombo and wasn't familiar with the neighborhood, but Google Maps helped us in finding this perfect spot! Since it was a large crowd appeared without a reservation, the owner had to call in help from his family. However, the food was served without any delay, and it was yummy! Portions were plenty and we even asked a few dishes to be packed, which they happily accommodated. Owner's family was friendly, and we truly enjoyed our experience! In fact, we returned on the day after too!

We went to this hotel arround 4pm, 12 ppl. we request we are in hurry , so need food soon as possible within 30 min they serve chicken nasi, prawn nasi, mixed sea food nasi, chicken fried rice, batter cuttle fish , grilled chicken and pasta..they food is delisious... and dessert too.. its a good place for dine...

Very nice place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have eaten here 3 times and all dishes are really tasteful. Very friendly family. One time they opened their place before opening time so we could have breakfast before our snorkling tour.

We tried in Trinco a lot of restaurant, but this restaurant was the best. Good food, very nice family restaurant and owner, amazing coffee, soups, club sandwich and BANANA SPLIT (gastroporn). We were there 12 times, maybe more (for breakfasts, lunchrs and dinners). Prices are very good for their food.

We was recommended this restaurant and was not disappointed it was that nice we came twice.We had sweet and sour chicken (which was cubed breast of chicken ) and grilled fish the first time, the second time we had garlic prawns and garlic chicken all very tasty and good portion sizes too excellent value .

This place is amazing! It is run by a really friendly family and has a great atmosphere. The food is DELICIOUS. Everything is made fresh to order. The curries were all very flavorful and the coconut pancakes are a must try. The banana/pineapple splits are made with deep fried fruit which is a yummy twist. They also have really good coffee which can sometimes be hard to find in Sri Lanka. We stayed in a Trincomalee for three nights and ate breakfast and supper here for every meal except one, the food is that good! Highly recommend!!

Great place to eat. We had sea food noodles, chicken fried rice, mixed nasi rice, and side dishes. It was delicious. Lime juice was also perfectly prepared. They have a limited staff due to covid, so we had to wait a little longer. But they deserve the full support because they provided the best service.
