Delicious Home-cooking style restaurant. Everything is freshly made, so it takes a little. The kottu, rotis and Sri Lankan Breakfast are amazing! Very sweet hosts.

I came to this restaurant three times during my stay in Trincomalee. It is the best food I had in Sri Lanka! It's a family restaurant and everything is cooked on the spot with fresh ingredients, the vegetables they use are so tasty! Really recommended! Even if you are staying far, it's worth a tuk tuk ride to come here, also because it's cheaper than other restaurants so in the end you will save money.

It was a nice surprise how amazing the food was!!! It is fantastic value and really tasty. We will definitely come back:-) It‘s the beste restaurant in the area. I would definitely recommend „Roti and Curry“ - so yummy!!!

Went there 2 times in our 2 days in Trincomalee. Very nice family and tasty meals. It usually takes a little bit of time, though, so make sure you are in no rush. They don’t sell beers.

Some of the most incredible food! We had the Sri Lankan tuna curry and the crab curry - both were super authentic, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious! And the price was really really good! Such a lovely family run place! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

Food is fresh and tasted very good. You have to wait a bit to get your food. Service is nice. Good prices. When you order seafood its always still in his shell even if you order seafood noodles or chop suey. That means you have to put your hands in the meal. I dont like that but i think its commen and shows how fresh everthing is. If you dont like it...just order chicken, beef or vegetarian.

We went there like 4 times. Lovely family, tasty food, lot of options, you can ask non spicy and good prices not like all the other tourist's restaurants in the area where they highly overprice you. Soups and curry meals my favourites.

The best culinary experience in Sri Lanka so far. We asked for a chicken curry and a tuna curry. They both were amazing and so tasty. You can ask them to adjust the spiciness, but you can control the fire breath with their incredible lemon lassi. Also, they are very kind. Specially the kid. So smart, funny and friendly. We hope the best for you all!!

This is very authentic place. Run by local family. Food is delicious, we liked prawn noodles, fried rice with seafood and roti with chocolate and coconut. The stuff is very very good, you won't be disappointed really. Give this place a chance and you'll taste Sri Lanka🇱🇰. Spice level is up to you. Greetings from 🇷🇺

A lovely family Restaurant. Parents are very polite and Sri Lankan food was lovely. I had fish curry which came with about five other sides including jackfruit, Bitter gourd Radish, papadams. I have been having meal here many times so authentic food. They do living for this restaurant please if you stay around Trinco do not forget to visit them

Fantastic food, great service. We had vegetable curry with roti and calamari curry with roti and both were delicious. Great value for money, would definitely come back.

Very good and audentic Sri Lanka food. Lady who cooking is amazing! you will feel like part of her family. She is always smiling and cooking with hart.

Saw the reviews and pictures and decided to give this place a try. The owners were super friendly and helpful when deciding on items. I had the roti with veggies and came back for the crab curry as the owner said it was the next best thing to going to Jaffna. The portion was huge that I had to take the rest of it home, I also added the prawn curry and had to try the lime coconut. Will definitely be back to try their Kottu and see how it compares to the others. Also got the mixed fruit with ice cream as my dessert and it was 👌🏾

What a feast it was! We came by for some seafood and we were just blown away by the grilled plate of it. That's the place you not only want, but NEED to stop by.

Great place for fresh seafood. We had crab curry and grilled snapper. All of it was wonderful. Also try the homemade icetea. We will come again!

Good food, nice owners, big variety of dishes, prices are in average range for budget meal, but the quality is above average (had more prawns in my noodles compared with many other restaurants for the same price). The morning I was leaving Trincomalee I told the owner that I have long day in the road and they made double rotti with no extra charge.

Lovely place run by a super cute and friendly Sri Lankan family. The food was amazing. We are vegans and could also still could choose between great vegetable dishes. Definitely gonna come here again. Drink the Coconut Lime Soda, it's delicious!
