We have chosen this location for our wedding anniversary stay. According to my experience, the hotel's location and environment are splendid. It's surrounded by a fishing village, providing a unique opportunity to learn about fishing and fishing techniques. The hotel directly faces the eastern sea in Sri Lanka, allowing you to witness the sunrise from this beautiful location. They offer various options for ocean views, including rooms with sea views and separate cabanas. A cabana comprises four individual rooms and its key benefit is its proximity to the sea. If you're interested in witnessing the sunrise, you'll have a clear view right from the cabana room. Additionally, the hotel room's aesthetics and interior design are perfectly suited for a beachside establishment. The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and consistently provides excellent service to the guests. The meals are delightful, although I've observed that many of the menu options remain unchanged from day to day that's a bit negative point. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms is impeccable.

The service, the food, the rooms are overall excellent. The staff is very friendly and quick. The staff follow all the covid guidelines but we noticed couple of occasions where cleaning staff wasn't properly wearing their masks. Further some guests were not wearing masks at the buffet, in my opinion the staff should stress this for all guests specially in the prevailing situation.

Around trinco, this is one of the best places to stay no doubt. The rates are very reasonable for what you are getting. We had the beachfront chalet, and this to me, is the the best way to stay here. The beach is basically your front porch with the ocean just 2 to 3 minutes away, making an early morning dip or a midnight stroll along the beach very convenient. The rooms were good with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The beach is kept clean and the waters are very clear. Overall, wonderful experience.

Place might be hard to find since it’s located a bit inland from the main road. Place has enough parking for a lot of vehicles. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Buffet has many varieties of food and taste good. Back of the hotel faces the beach, and is accessible all the time. Pool is closed around 10 PM and has a deep in around 8 feet deep. A pool for kids is available as well. The place is very spacious and the beach is really looking gorgeous.

It is a brilliant experience at Trinco Blu by Cinnamon. We stayed at a beach chalet and luckily it was ground floor. Those provide direct access to beach. From the beach we can enter to the room and there is a water tap to wash our feet. There are several benches headed to the see near these chalets as well as some rope beds too. Outside the room which faces to the see provide free are for small gathering of few people. Highly recommend rooms numbers are 318, 319, 322 and 323.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The food was cooked to perfection and is to die for. The room service was great and we had no issues. The beach being in arms reach is a huge time saver and the swimming pool is a perfect way to relax. It is also very affordable for a group of 13 people. Was travelling through Sri Lanka on our honeymoon in August and Trinco Blu was one our favourite stays! The staff was so lovely, cheerful and helpful. Great location placed centrally close to all the bays, kovils, and other interesting places Trinco has to offer. Hotel beach is amazing, you can walk into the ocean for miles it's so shallow! The hotel manager is so helpful and lovely too - kept checking on us and making sure we had a great time! Will definitely be back next time we are in Trinco 🙌🏽

I'm happy to share my experience in this hotel. Wonderfully maintained by the team. Such a beautiful location to relax n enjoy. Easy to access pool n the beach. It's a perfect view. The food was fantastic n had lot of choices. I highly recommend this hotel . Well done Team.

Great experience! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. In my opinion one of the best places to stay in Trinco. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Room service is always ready to help. The buffet is really good with a lot of choices. The location is gorgeous, especially if the sea if not too rough. Cons: • Dogs. Yes, dogs. They're all over the hotel. The staff say that it's difficult to keep them out but I think this level of inconvenience calls for a fence towards the beach area. They come towards you expecting food and I even noticed a couple of dogs scaring a foreigner trying to snatch her food. • There is a seafood restaurant named 'The Crab' inside the hotel which is wayyy overpriced with tiny food portions. The food served is about double the price at that of a reputed restaurant in Colombo. And that too, it doesn't fill you up. :( I know I went on for quite a bit with the negatives but that's only because it's nice to be informed. Honestly, they aren't deal breakers and they wouldn't keep me from visiting again to stay in their fabulous rooms.

Food and the service was great. The staff is so kind and helpful. Food is so delicious we enjoyed a lot. The only issue is the conditions of rooms. Rooms are old and lots of mosquitoes were there. Even the phone is not cleaned. Bathroom was ok but old equipments and lots of mosquitoes were there too. I appreciate if the management look into these housekeeping issues.

A beautiful hotel with a direct location by the seaside. The hotel grounds are beautifully designed, well maintained and leave nothing to be desired. In the restaurant you get great food at a buffet with a large selection of local and international cuisine and some live cooking stations. The rooms are immaculate and very well equipped. All the staff, whether at reception, in the restaurant or in housekeeping, are extremely friendly. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

The staff in the front office was really friendly and miss. Imangana helped us a lot. Rooms clean and comfortable. If you are targeting the the beach, going there in March is better. Taste of the food is okay. Overall the service here is indeed super great.

Rooms are clean and very nice and properly arranged. Having a great buffet with many varieties. Food is delicious. The staff is also very friendly and really care for their visitors. And the surrounding is really nice and clean with the beach. Good for family outings, couples, friends and enjoying the beach while having a luxurious stay.

One of the best place that I'd visited. Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. And specially rooms are very clean and properly arranged. The beach view from some rooms are the best. So when you're selecting your room please select beachside. For a wonderful family trip it's the best.

Impeccable service by the staff. And incredible food. Went there for 2 nights Full Board visit and I would recommend half board because you'll be overwhelmed by great food. The sea view rooms are great and request a lower floor as you get easy access to the beach and breathtaking views in the morning. One shortcoming is that the thripple rooms comes with a one additional seperate bed which is not as comfortable as the main beds. So the third person would be not as comfortable. Would have being great if they had king beds which can accommodate all three. Beach is beautiful. Unfortunately I was there in off-season. So can't swim and the water is dirty even though the hotel cleans the beach very well. You'll love all the buffets and the staff. Highly recommended!

Came from the UK for a relaxing 6 nights break. The chalet rooms are amazing with an outstanding view. The customer service by staff was exemplary, specifically Sashika whom is the manager who welcomed us with open arms and was very helpful and informative throughout our stay. The pool and restaurant staff were always accommodating within our needs. The food, in particular the Christmas eve dinner was amazing and displayed a variety of choices which suited our daughter whom is a picky eater. Overall a 10/10 experience and we will be returning

First Impression, The Staff. They were friendly and great with us since arrival. Rooms are clean, nice and we loved it. Clean and nice pool, access to beach is great as well. Had a chance to enjoy the buffet. Everything were spot on. But would be great if there were more sea food dishes... Its Trinco isnt it 😉 Altogether a nice experience.

The location is wonderful. Beach chalets are really cool and comfortable and situated beside the beach. The service was truly good and need to mention Mahesh with the service. In fact the buffet was delicious. Genuinely recommend this place for a couple who likes beaches and to visit Trincomalee.

Siva has been very helpful, my sandals broke and he was finding every solution to help. This had always been my favourite venue to visit in SL, it is such a wonderful hotel with an amazing view of the ocean. The cabanas they have here are wonderful and it's amazing to sit on your own balcony on the beach. The buffet food is always great quality and the staff are attentive and very friendly. I could not recommend this place highly enough!

We had a dinner yesterday. The staff was really friendly and efficient. Especially the service of Siva is excellent. As an experienced staff of you, he would bring more customers to the hotel. We stayed at this hotel for two days and it was wonderful. The location is really good, with a big pool and access to the beach. The pool personnel was kind and helped us a lot. Regarding food, The Crab is really good and the Baileys mousse dessert was just awesome! Lunches and dinners at the buffet were very good, with very kind staff and special mention to Rita, which discovered Hoppers to me, and the woman at the pasta station which made a delightful pasta for us. Thanks a lot ❤️

Absolutely loved this hotel. Lovely modern decor and clean rooms. Excellent location right on the beach. The beach is lovely and clean and I had alot of fun helping the locals collect oysters. The restaurant, service and above all the food is amazing here at the Trinco Blu. I throughly enjoyed my stay and the best hotel I had the pleasure to visit whilst on holiday in Sri Lanka. Great hotel can't recommend enough!!!

This is a great hotel for a family vacation. The food is excellent. There were buffets with a good variety of food that tasted great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is great. The reception is very good and we got a free room upgrade too. Rooms are clean and the beach chalet has direct access to the beach, which is very clean and scenic. Overall it was a lovely experience. Trinco Blu is definitely my favorite hotel in SL by the Cinnamon chain. I spent a great holiday with my family recently and this was our 3rd time ! The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Food here is consistently great. Loved our beach chalet which had direct beach access. Best beach ever and lovely environment. Thanks for making our stay memorable again !

We had few days at Trinco blue & the staff made our stay so memorable. I had to mention their housekeeping staff specifically as they made all effort to keep us happy. The rooms were excellent in terms of cleanliness, amenities & room service. We stayed most of the time at hotel and with kids housekeeping staff were always around us when we needed them. I can not thank them enough for the service. Very happy with the room setup, linen and our requests . Definitely this will be a stop for our next visit.

Visited a few hotels here with friends and this is by far the best. Pool is amazing and it is right on the ocean. There are two bars and a buffet that are both amazing. Sunshine and beach during the day, and music and drinks at night. Couldn’t ask for more. Great service too!

My stay at the hotel was with around 100 people I went on an annual trip with. The view at the hotel was breathtaking. We had a lot of fun at the beach and the swimming pool too. Food was tasty but the only downside was the buffet was mostly local.I would like to experience more from other cuisine. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall it was a great experience.

My family had a great vacation here, with serene environment ! It’s almost like living on the beach. The service is excellent The restaurant staff was really helpful ! They helped us to choose variety of delicious food for our two little daughters. Really wanted to thank Mr. K. Jayantha, who helped us a lot to prepare and serve food for my kids.

My family and I had a great time staying at Trinco Blu! The staff was extremely helpful and kind throughout our entire stay. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style with lunch being a “set menu.” Glad to say the food here is consistently great. The room itself has good amenities and was big enough for 4 people. Having a pool to enjoy ourselves after going to the beach made the trip even more enjoyable for us! The environment of this hotel is filled with beautiful greenery and animals that will for sure keep you busy. Thanks for an amazing stay!!

Stayed 2 days. Loved this location situated in a beautiful beach stretch. Hotel is easily accessible from Trinco town. Staff is helpful. I stayed in a superior room, thought room amenities could have improved, But there are beach side chalets also. On that days there were buffets in main restaurant with actually good selections, but felt food could’ve been improved for this price tag. Overall, the hotel, location and the vibe is great.

I recently stayed at Trinco Blu by Cinnamon Hotel, and while my experience was good, it fell short of being excellent. The buffet offered an average selection of food but was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the non-local dishes, but I regret not trying the local meals as I have heard great things about them. It would have been better if there were more varieties and seafood options available. The staff at the hotel were generally friendly and accommodating, although there were moments where I felt that my needs were not being fully addressed. For example, there were delays in responding to my requests. The location of the hotel was a bit underwhelming. While it was situated near the beach, the surrounding area lacked the charm and character that I had hoped for. On a positive note, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The presence of a few stray dogs on the property was a charming touch, and I enjoyed their company. Overall, Trinco Blu by Cinnamon Hotel is a decent option for a comfortable and relaxed stay in Trincomalee, but there is room for improvement in terms of service and location.

Even though my stay was a short one, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The experience was better than a 5Star hotel. What I most liked about is, each staff member knew their role and did their part very well. Great location, beautiful beaches, Food was great, room was fabulous and the managers were always out and about meeting and greeting the patrons. Highly recommended place to stay in Trinco. I will be staying longer on my next visit for sure.

We stayed at a superior room. The room was very nice, bright and cozy. Had an amazing view overlooking the pool and the beach. 10/10✨ for the interior layout, coziness and cleanliness. The overall experience was excellent. Loved the buffet spread. Excellent hospitality and friendly staff.

Totally in love with this place. The chalets were very spacious and cozy. Staff members were efficient and their service was extremely good. Pool area was kid friendly and safe. Only issue was the beach area being littered and full of garbage. Hope the management will take measures to clean it up. Everything else was perfect!

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The buffet was a bit of a disappointment as you had to point out to the staff on multiple occasions that some of the main items had finished within an hour of the buffet starting and people had to wait to serve from the buffet (This was the avurudu weekend so there was a rush) Rooms were overall very good but the bathrooms need a bit of an overhaul and some of the plugs in the rooms were not working. All in all minor issues when compared to the overall experience and the lovely location.
