A good place for bird watching and to spend your evening time. Calm environment.    Two access roads are available. If you don't want to go to the temple near by, then use the other road (the Anuradhapura-Trincomalee road), since the road is going through a large area of paddy fields along a canal. Due to wild elephant risk, the area is covered by an electric fence for safety.
