We found this dive center by chance. Most of the the other dive centres seemed not operating. It was end October. Ram (who runs the Epic centre) has around 16000 dives under his belt but still has a refreshing enthusiasm of wanting to help others enjoy the experience of underwater. One member in our team was not comfortable to dive. But with Ram's patience and advice, she was almost like a fish after the fourth dive. Safety was kept in the foremost throughout. Quality equipment, buddy checks, safety stops et all. In my opinion much better in Trinco than the Southern parts of the Island. Plenty of marine life.

Had an incredible diving experience with Epic Ocean Adventures last month. Ram, my dive master, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and safety-oriented. The dive site was beautiful, and the overall experience surpassed expectations. Kudos to Ram and the entire team for an exceptional adventure that will remain etched in my memory. Highly recommend!

Had a super fun time diving with Epic Ocean. I wish I had stayed for a few more days in Trinco just to dive a little more with them! Good visibility, plenty of things to see (highlight: saw a beautiful red Octopus swim and camouflage itself in the corals. Also, plenty of rays, shoals of fish, moray eels, nudibranch etc. ) and most importantly Ram was incredible throughout! He listened to what kind of dive sites I'd be interested in and ensured we went there, and also took great pictures of us. My sister also got Open Water Certified (Max was her instructor who was amazing) and that was the highlight of her trip to Sri Lanka! Would love to come back and dive here with Epic Ocean!

The instructor was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, which made me feel safe and secure throughout my three days of diving. They also had a friendly attitude that made the dive experience even more enjoyable. In addition, I found it really helpful that the instructor arranged to pick us up from our resort, which made the logistics of the trip much smoother. Overall, I would highly recommend this scuba centre to anyone looking for a professional and enjoyable diving experience.

Totally worth it! I completed my OWD here with Max as my instructor. The dives were cool, enriching and there was a lot to see. I loved Ram's energy and the way he does his job. The communication is super easy thanks to Janna. So I totally recommend this diving center for doing your OWD or just fun dives

Highly recommend. So much fun with those guys! We had no idea about diving and decided doing the open water there. This was one of the best decisions at our stay in Trincomalee. The teachers Kai and Ram seem really professional and really funny at the same time. Ram has over 15k dives, so he will find a dive spot which fits best for you! The best start in the world of diving you will ever have! When I called them the owner took his time to explain everything, was really polite and helpful. We did the open water dive certificate with them and it was amazing. They can speak really good English, are really polite, really patient, they go at your speed and will do the best to provide you a safe first dive. The instructor is well experienced, so he knows how to keep you calm if you are a bit nervous. We did every 4 dives and also the confined water training in the ocean, for me that's a main difference to other diving school, where you do that in the pool, but the ocean gives you a more realistic environment. They are also really nice person's, you can joke around with them and it never gets boring, very familiar atmosphere, they even offered us to eat with them because we had no breakfast. All in all the best and safest way to get you introduced to scuba diving, if you have questions just call them, they will help you and not rest till you are certified. We had a great time diving with Ram! It was my very first time diving, and Ram made me feel very comfortable during an introduction dive and two fun dives. He is very knowledgeable, provided clear instructions, and was very calm. It was a great first diving experience and I for sure want to do this more often! 🙏🏼

Diving as it should be! Relaxed vibe, professional instructors with a lot of experience and cool diving spots with great visibility. I wasn’t sure about diving in Trincomalee, but I was very happily surprised with the underwater world here :). Did two dives, both close to the coast. In between we came back to the diving centre for a tea and a cookie. Ram even had an underwater camera to take some pictures. Overall a very nice experience, would definitely recommend!

We had a great experience with Ram and Janna! We did 4 fun dives and really loved them, especially coral garden and naval museum. The dive sites are very closeby (5 min boat trip), which is very convenient. They have good equipment, a lot of knowledge (20+ years experience) and passion for diving. Ram was a nice, fun instructor and made our dives very chill. Janna took care of the paperwork and provided good communication arranging the dives. On top of that we also got some underwater pictures Ram made :)!

Had a breathtaking ( no pun intended :D ) diving session with my husband! Mr. Ram was an amazing instructor, he ensured that we are trained first and then took us into the waters. We had a great dive and saw beautiful fish, corals and sea creatures. 10/10. Would recommend

Best Dive Center in Sri Lanka! We did 8 beautiful dives with Ram. He is extremely professional, the best I’ve seen here, with great equipment which he renews every year. The dive school is conveniently located on Dutch Bay, with several great spots just a few minutes away. Surface intervals are at the beach, which is a lot more relaxed then the usual snack on the shaky boat. Ram was always very well prepared, informed and honest about weather and conditions and he recommended to cancel dive trips when the visibility was bad. He is also a great guide, spots even the tiniest snails and nudibranches and takes beautiful pictures, which he shared with us without charge. Most of all, Ram and Jana are very nice, honest, and fair people, always in good spirits and fun to hang out with. 10 out of 10 recommendation! Thank you very much! Hope to be back, soon! 🙏👌😎🤙

Ram is one of the most professional diving instructors I have met so far. He is extremely talented at his job. Good and clean diving gear is available at the diving center. Totally worth this investment. The dive sites are beautiful at Dutch Bay and Ram introduced all the sites perfectly to for me to choose.

Highly recommend Epic Ocean Diving Center! Had an amazing experience with Ram, Jenna and the rest of the team. We went diving and whales watching. Ram is extremely knowledgeable about all sea life, is very experienced and happy to share if you want to know anything. On top of this you'll have good fun with the team. If you're looking for a dive center where you'll have fun, good advice and feel safe, that's the one you should select. :-)

We felt really save and perfectly assisted in getting back into diving. We both haven’t been diving for three years. Ram made it a great experience and knows a lot as local certified dive guide about the marine life. The communication was always joyful and we had a lot of fun. I will definitely come back again and dive with them.

We visited Ram's center for two dives during our honeymoon and we loved it! Ram is really kind and attentive. The dives were planned and explained beforehand, we had a great sense of security, and we did some very cool dives. The equipment was very good. I am super happy to have chosen Epic Ocean for my diving adventures in Trincomalee. The entire team is warm hearted and welcoming and the dive instructors are amazing. Ram knows the dive sides better than anyone else and is showing you all the hidden gems other dive schools don’t even know about. Their level of professionalism is outstanding and you should really consider that when choosing your dive school as there is plenty of other dive centers around that don’t even have a license nor do they send you out with real instructors on your dives which is highly dangerous! Ram always made the most of our dives and I can highly recommend him and this diving center/school. Thank you guys, I’m sure I’ll see you again!

They have 5 stars for a resone! I had a great time with them. Ram was very professional with good brief before going in. You can tell Ram knows his way around and knows alot about the marine life. The best part was that during the break between dives we cought some Tuna fish! Highly recommend!

We had a great time diving with Epic Ocean! Both of us did our Open water in Trincomalee - it was my first time diving ever and we both loved it. Our instructor Maxi was great! He’s a very experienced diver who explained everything to us. We had so much fun diving with him. The entire team is extremely helpful and professional. They know the area and are really passionated about their job. They’re all trying to get you the best possible experience which we loved. The equipment was great - they even provided goggles with prescription. If you’re in Trincomalee i can only recommend diving with epic ocean!! You won’t regret it and if you’re lucky they even have puppies there :)

Wow! It was my first time in Sri Lanka and chose to finally get a diving license (open water + advanced) after years of free diving. I got very lucky to bump into Ram, Max and the epic ocean team because they literally made my vacation! The sea was incredible, perfect visibility and a huge quantity of sea life (turtles, manta rays, giant moray eels…) Every lesson was fun and it’s clear that the passion for diving is at the core of Epic Ocean. We did 12 dives in total and loved every second of it. Amazing people. Amazing experiences. VERY GOOD.
