Very bad & overpriced.. I never normally write reviews, but I cannot stay quite for this. This is the most ridiculously expensive restaurant in the country I belive. Friend Rice for 2,000/- and ordinary beer can for 700/- 7 star prices nothing special. When I ask why the crazy prices, the answer is they use mineral water to cook 😂 Seems like beer factory also using mineral water for them 🤣

The most overpriced place I've ever been in Sri Lanka. We ordered coctails, soups, salads and fried rice. Cocktails had very little of alcohol, could not feel it at all. Soups and salads are very simple taste and ingredients. Especially avocado salad had very few prawns and just an ordinary dressing. Nothing worth 2000 rupees price. Tom Yam soup was good, but small portion and served with toasts from supermarket, simply toasted without any garlic butter or something which again can worth the price of 2000 rupees. Fried rice for 2000 rupees - was overcooked rice and very few prawns. any 500 rupees fried rice from Street shop has much more taste and size of portion and quantity of ingredients. They offered us lobster, 700g for 10,500 rupees. Which is ridiculous. The ministry of crab in Colombo (in the list of 50 best restaurants in Asia) have this price for lobsters. Overall good service, nice location next to the ocean, chilout music. But to pay such high prices and sitting on plastic unconfy chairs - one time enjoy for me. At the end we asked why your prices are so high and the answer was "you know, we cook on mineral water". 🙄 At least, put some nice chilout bar style furniture and increase portions for this prices.

A lovely location ruined by grossly inflated prices and blatant overcharging. Superficially pleasant staff verbally quoted one price only to nearly double it when it came to settle the bill. Avoid like the plague!

The local spice Fragrant was delicate, teasing our palate, whereas the Garlic and Sour Cream was addictively aggressive. Perfectly balanced with the veggies and salad. Everything was so fresh! Very hearty and indulgent. High Tide has a great ambiance, all mixed together with an upbeat dining experience leaves an impression that lasts. Dine here once, and you'll be sure it will not be your last. “YOUR CHOICE” is THE BEST PLACE TO GET FRESHLY PREPARED AND SERVED SEAFOOD IN TRINCOMALEE. If you're going to seafood places in Trinco, you're probably spending too much. If you go here, you get the essentials. You get more seafood than you can eat. Definitely the best seafood ever had. Nice beach bar. Went here a few times and nice chilled atmosphere. The menu is international, and pizza is exceptionally good (the sweet Nutella pizza is surprisingly pleasing!). Bit pricy vs other options off the beach in the area, but setting and chilled atmosphere makes up for it!

5 years ago i first came to trinconmalee and fernandos bar was by far the best restaurant on the beach. your choice suprasses this. the best food in sri lanka. more expensive than the competitors but quality you pay. The waiters work very quickly and correctly and are very helpful. I reccomend this to everyone! Greetings from Belgium!

Nice view at night, friendly staff, good Coconut drinks. The pizzas are average quality and massively overprized, though.
