Wonderful location lakeside. Rooms basic but you miss nothing, beds are very comfy but make sure your room is not centered to the church bell because it can get loud sometimes. Slept like a baby, food is excellent.

Perfect place to stay, relax and calm down in a beautiful landscape and lovely village of Seeon. The hotel provides all amenities including breakfast, dipping in the surrounding lake and a monastery bar. Restaurants with traditional bavarian food are in walking distance.

From the outside, the place is gorgeous. Well kept and nicely manicured. The rooms are basic, but clean. The addition of a fan to move the air during the stifling heat would have been really beneficial. Most of the employees were super friendly with the exception of one at the outdoor restaurant.

Very beautiful, quite place to escape from pollution and noise. Guests can swim in the lake, enjoy the atmosphere. In general, it is a really nice place to visit. It is not the cheapest, but still worth it. But I was expecting a even better breakfast choices, so 4.5 stars in my mind.

If you are looking for an escape to unwind, and enjoy nature this is a beautiful choice. My wife stopped for an overnight while driving in Bavaria, and I am happy we did. What a serene location surrounded by nature. The staff at the kloster were friendly, professional, and very helpful as we looked for a restaurant to eat dinner. Breakfast was great, and morning time on the lake refreshing 🙂

Unique and tucked away, this historic cloistered monastery is now a beautifully restored hotel. The staff are genuinely helpful and friendly. Our room was avg size/efficient but lovely, overlooking the lake. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was gourmet in my opinion with the best ingredients of the area - the finest breakfast we've been served on our two week trip. If you go, take the time to read the history of the place, posted along the wall interiors. We'll be back with our adult children!

Very nice place to stay and relax. It is situated just next to a lake and it’s beautiful monetary. I loved the food and stay over there. You have bowling in the bar we had lot of fun.

Very nice venue. Nice rooms, kind and helpful staff, great location, very good food (buffet the times a day; little snacks and fruit during coffee breaks). There's exhibitions and concerts in this further abby as well. Certainly worth a visit (at least for a workshop/retreat).

Rooms are nicely renovated, very spacious but sparsely furnished. Lovely views from the rooms out onto the lake. There are no aircons in the rooms but the rooms are naturally cool so this will only be an issue on the hottest days. Breakfast was good . The restaurant on-site does not have a wide selection of dinner options though which may be an issue if you have fussy eaters with you. Its probably not the most kid friendly accommodation option. The historical connection with Mozart was a pleasant surprise. Staff were very friendly. The surrounding area is extremely beautiful and peaceful.
