It's a cute little museum. A nice to see for car lovers. Expect to spend 1 hour there. Don't expect interactive displays nor proper storytelling about the brand and the upcoming succes and its demise. However, they have some incredible old SAABs on display and the walk to the museum from the central station following the water is nice for slow travellers.

Really interesting museum. For Saab fans it is really inconvenient place! Recommend to visit it even one time in life, maybe some day here it will be more saabs because how knows, now saabs are in deficit.

Great way to experience the legacy of Saab, and to understand how important they were to Trollhättan. Collection of ~120 cars with about half on display at any time. Very cool cutaways of cars and engines alike. The museum isn't huge, and it would be difficult to spend more than an hour or two there without being an absolute nerd about every detail of some specific vehicle. But I'd suggest seeing it. I enjoyed my visit. I left feeling sad. Saab deserved better than to be run into the ground by GM.

A nice museum with history about Saab and some amazing concept cars which never got produced. A must visit if you are a car enthusiast and are in town!! Takes about an hour to go through everything by yourself.

Went to Saab car museum, but got 2-in-1: Saab museum + Science center for my child, that is located next to the museum. Really nice experience. The museum is small, but gives a good insight in the history and in the last attempts to build something new.

Fantastic for anyone who likes Saabs obviously but also for those who like car history. Special place.

Great museum for anyone interested in cars. Beautiful display of old and modern cars but perhaps best of all many concept cars with unique designs. The staff were also really kind and friendly.

One of the best highlights on my trip to Sweden. The museum has tons of Saabs on display - old and new. Various 2 and 4 stroke engines were displayed, some of which were sliced to show the inner mechanics. The entry fee was reasonable too. Easy to find.

If you fancy cars and SAAB, this is the place to explore to get an insight into the history of this Swedish cooperation. A huge collection of special cars from the early beginning up to modern times. The development of this car manufacturer up trough the years is also carefully displayed on the walls with pictures and text. A big bonus is the huge car track in the museum where you can challenge yourself, friends and family with a model car race. Recommended!

A good place for car enthusiasts. All details are in English which is a plus and also they have detailed digital videos on history and background.

Didn’t know anything about the brand and got to learn so many passionating things about it while wandering between very old cars and never seen prototypes. One of the best visits of Trollhatan.

Really easy to get there. Well organised with a lot of nice stuff. Lot of concept models, lacks on newer models 9-5 sedan variations. Lack on the history of SAAB’s trajectory, a BBC Top Gear SAAB special did a better job in that matter. Surely worth the while visiting, you can have some nice souvenirs at the end as well. Trollhättan is a beautiful city to visit, if you can, take a look around.

Amazing museum with loads of old Saab cars. The display of the cars are nice but the storytelling is a little bit short and brief. I recommend reading a good book about Saab before going there.

Defenetly worth a visit!!! There's a cinema, concept cars, you'll learn a lot about the saab history and how cars are manifactured. Nice to see even if you're not a specific saab fan. Parking spots right next to the museum available. They have scania bobby cars for kids, and a toy car track where you can find out who's able to drive the fastest lap. There's a small shop where you can get drinks, coffee or even ice cream and while you're at it maybe you'll find yourself a key chain or a mug^^. Thank you very much for your hard work, so we get to enjoy saab a little more!!!

Saab, interesting cars from the beginning to the end. But this museum does not do the brand justice! Great cars to see but lacking important and essential elements to create understanding and compassion about theese very special cars.

Great collection of all SAAB cars from the early post WW2 to around 2010 when sadly SAAB went bankrupt. Such an innovative and interesting company that placed engineering quality above all else. The concept cars are really interesting and would have been great in production as they were very usable whilst being modern and futuristic. Would loved to have owned a 900 Aero. Nice location in the old railway engineering buildings.
