A must visit café in Svalbard if you’re there! We love dogs, so we visited twice. Huskies are on a rotating roster and are well trained. They don’t beg for food. The first time we went, there were 3 and next time there were 2. Coffee is also great! There are cold options available too. The “Arctic Late” is great if you’re looking for a cold option. If you enjoy dogs and coffee, visit often! Haha

Visited the Husky Kafe on 7 Aug 2023. We are amazed how the owner manages so many dogs. They are such confident, friendly and happy dogs. The dogs showered us with kisses 😘🥰😍. We had a wonderful time with all the dogs and puppies. The owner is extremely kind, we wanted to pack a lunch for our picnic at the beach but they didn’t have any take-away coffee cups or bottled coffee, she lent us her hot flask. We needn’t return it to the cafe but we were told to leave it at our hotel reception. Exceptional service! Their salmon sandwiches and cookies are very delicious. Thank you for giving us such a fantastic experience with the dogs and we are very touched by your kindness. 🥰

If I could, I would give 0 stars. Over 200 dogs are locked up in kennels or chained on a 1.5m long chain in the sun. They sit or lie there and almost can't move. The puppies sit in a kennel with their mothers and have to be touched by strangers all day. In my opinion, cruelty to animals. Hands off!!!

Had one of the best experiences. Got to pet so many huskies. I still might be smelling like them ;). And I got to see the best aurora from there, what else you need! Seeing aurora surrounded by huskies.

The café is run by the Sami who gave us a good insight into their lives. The food and hot chocolate is good. They also provide vegetarian dishes.

Great place for a coffee and to hang out with 100 husky dogs. Very friendly and nice staff. Thank you again!

The dogs seem to be healthy and happy. They loved to cuddle, both puppies and adults. I was so happy and smelled like a husky by the end of it. 😅

It was the complete opposite of what I expected. About 200 Huskys are kept in an enclosure, each of them tied up on a 1,5 m chain. I don't know how often they can run free, but they seemed quite unmotivated, and the way that they are kept feels wrong. In my opinion, there are way too many dogs in too little space and no way for them to stroll around.

Huskies super cute, got to pet them all. Cafe was very small but they had a little but with a fire going where you could sit as it was very cold and rainy and that was so cozy. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Staff was very kind.

200 huskies, is there more to say? Yes, cause there were husky puppies! Great carrot cake cupcakes and staff was lovely.

Managed to see the Aurora Borealis while visiting..... my aim for going to Norway!

A good place to pet huskys and have some fish soup. That's about it. It's an experience.. Peter was a great host there.
