Great location super convenient Great view to the mountain and sea Close to city centre Close to many restaurants Starting point of plenty of excursions tours Best Arctic is stationed inside this hotel offering all sorts of excursions Breakfast is excellent plenty of choice with good quality House keeping is rather poor. You have to order your own house keeping service to make up your room daily. However they constantly missed the toiletries and you have asked for the missing ones daily. Anyway still it’s reasonably value for money

The Hotel has two buidlings which are connected inside. Standard rooms are very small and can have very small beds. The seeview rooms in the rear buidling overlook the roof from the buidling infront and if you stay on 9th floor you may hear noice from the gym on Level 10. Supervior rooms with view are nice and reasonable sized but not large. Cleanlyness is ok but could generally be improved, as well as room service. Location is very good and breakfast is good, but expensive as it is not included in the normal room rate. Stuff at front desc mainly friedly and helpful but not all the same.

Best place to stay in Tromso! We stayed here for a few days before our cruise! Located right at the heart of the city center! Our room had amazing views! Everything is walking distance! Loved our stay here!

The Sauna. Wow. It was beautiful and the balcony was a perfect place to cool off. The fitness room was great too. The hotel room was fine and the staff were mostly wonderful. This is a perfectly located, nice hotel to stay at the beginning and end of a safari trip.

Best location in Tromsø, good quality hotel with great sauna and gym. I found the guest rooms to be excessively hot this time of year with no way to cool down other than opening the window. We could hear the sound of dumbbells dropping to the floor from the gym right above our room. The staff at reception could be better trained on premium service skills that are more consistent with the brand. Overall we were glad we stayed at this hotel and would recommend.

Superb. Excellent location, exceptionally friendly staff, a warm and inviting restaurant where I enjoyed European breakfast and our room had a gorgeous view of the harbor as well. This was one of the most pleasing and relaxing places we stayed while in Norway. Quite satisfying. And reasonably prices, even during the summer. They also have a luggage storage area and were happy to let us leave our bags there after checkout.

Stay June 18 to 19. Hotel good, room too. breakfast fine. Parking is at a distance. But the annoying thing that the reserved money was not refunded. wrong twice. Called friendly answer, sorry. Wrong, would get it back. Meanwhile, the Norwegian krone has fallen in value. No point in calling again. Left with a nasty feeling. The response does not make sense what I said 10 days. I have had a refund. Only in Crowns, and therefore received less in return. By different course. My expenses were in Euros. Too bad but it's a kind of unfair money taking!

Great location. Close to many restaurants. Overall in good condition but showing wear and tear. Main city parking 5 minutes away in a cave !! Good breakfast but some of the staff have attitude.

Certainly not up to what I would expect at one of their hotels in the USA. Room was quite small, including tiny bathroom and shower. Much higher price than USA, but that is to be expected. Good breakfast included with the room.

Good hotel in a very good location. The rooms was large and comfy, the shower was great.

Fantastic views and fantastic location. Such a great find. Oh, the breakfast was a 10 for sure!

The hotel is situated next to the harbour and the town centre. The room we got was rather small but very clean and it had all you need for a 1 night stay. The beds were comfortable and in the bathroom you get very good shampoo and a shower gel - which not always happens nowadays. Breakfast was also really good - lots of choice and some local products like fish, etc. The hotel was really crowded but this is because so many cruise ship passengers stay there the night before or after the cruise which results in queues in the breakfast lounge. But can't complain as we also stayed there just before boarding the ship.

Great location and breakfast, everything else average. About $30 for a 12 minute taxi ride to the airport. Good service from the front desk.

Spacious room with a view of the water. That was very pleasant. Missing a second chair in the room if you were staying in the room with two people. Room is quite warm and difficult to cool down. But a clean and tidy impression. Breakfast was very good, it was also possible to order from the menu which gave extra choices. Friendly staff. Location in the center of Tromso, so everything is within walking distance. Check-in was messy because the entrance is also shared with a local travel agency, which made it a bit chaotic.

We are headed back to Tromsø to start our Scandavaian winter vacation and we are looking forward to the Radisson Blu again! The hotel is amazing, the breakfast is the best ever, the location is great, and the staff was very nice and accommodating the last time we were there! We look forward to seeing them again!

They scheduled a rock concert until midnight in the hotel (actually in the hotel). The room was literally vibrating. No notification of this during booking. Trying to get a 5 month old to sleep and needing to wake up at 6 the next morning was pretty unpleasant. I would be unhappy in a cheap hotel, and this was not cheap.. We were offered another room, which was rather pointless as it was the same hotel and an 'I'm so sorry'. They obviously weren't sorry enough to think this through in advance.

Nice spacious rooms though skimpy on storage needed for a longer stay. Excellent location near water and city center. Good breakfast. Reception staff not the best. One person gave us bad direcions, another incorrectly coded room keys, third forgot to put us on the breakfast list. Unusual for a hotel of major chain.

Stay away from this hotel. They deducted money from my credit card despite the timely cancellation of the reservation. They held and used my money unlawfully for a whole month. They did not respond to emails, despite multiple attempts to contact them. Eventually, they waited for the lowest exchange rate and transferred an amount that was naturally less than what was taken. Instead of an apology, we had to pay them, for nothing. Complete deception and rudeness. Clear money laundering!

We booked in Standard room with sea view. Being our first time in EU we were not used to “standard” rooms being so small. So when we received an offer from Radisson Blu to upgrade to a superior room we immediately took it. Upon arrival, we were too early for the check in time and told that the rooms weren’t ready. So me and the wife left our luggages in their luggage storage room and went out for a coffee. When we arrived back at the hotel. The receptionist thanked us for waiting and we upgraded to premium sea view free of charge! Breakfast is also worth it with lots of choices. Location of the hotel is also excellent especially if you are tourist. Most of the pickup and drop off locations of tours are either inside the hotel or beside it.

We came to Tromso to see the northern lights and given it was our first time, we thought it would be 'safer' to stay in a chain. We stayed in the junior suite, arrived an hour before check-in time and they gave us the room early which was much appreciated. The room itself was a great size but a bit dated, the bathroom especially. The whole flush frame would fall out when we pressed it. The other issue was the cleaning. We came back the first night thought the room wasn't cleaned, but then realized the bed was rearranged and the garbage was taken out, that's it. Last down side is there is no 24 hours restaurant or room service available. You can only order pizza from their adjacent restaurant until 9. Besides that the staff were friendly, professional and polit. Gave us a slightly later check out, and were helpful with the recommendations. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. The location is excellent as well. One big upside is in the reception there is a tour service desk (Best Arctic) for the northern lights and a bunch of other activities with pick up and drop off at the hotel itself which is very convenient.

The hotel has a great location, and the room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff can be a little bit unwelcoming, except Kevin he was great. You can book tours at the Best Arctic desk in the lobby, and have everything within walking distance.

Ok place. They were overrun with tourists and I don't think they knew how to handle it. The bathroom was not clean when I checked in however house keeping works long hours and aggressively (They rolled their giant cart into my elevator without checking to see if anyone was on there first!). It's convenient for where the tours depart, as the streets are messy and you want to be close by. There aren't too many dining options around.

For a two-night stay we chose the Radisson Blu Hotel due to its central location. I was aware of which room I have booked and actually liked it a lot. The small and cozy room with I believe it was around 12 sqm had a comfortable bed and a nice view outside. Travelers who seek space and a place to sit other than the bed should probably choose a higher category. I am almost at 2.00 m so the bathroom was a bit tricky to use as it also fits the description of small and cozy. Cleanliness was good, not perfect. Service wise the hotel was good with a shout out to Jasmin at the FO who switched to our language right away after seeing the passports. Good and authentic service from her side. Not so good were the food options. The breakfast was nice and had a good selection but very slow service. Removing empty dishes or glasses usually did happen after we left. And the pizza place next door should really improve their game. Very long wait times without any visible reason why - 40 mins for two pizzas with the place very empty was not very amusing. The pub was alright though. Overall I would recommend it for the trip but seek dinner somewhere else.

Lovely place to stay. Kind, very helpful staff, great views after we were kindly given an upgrade. Great choice of food at breakfast, easy to find in the city and helpfully, it was the meeting point for a lot of our excursions booked with Tromsø Safari, who have an office on the ground floor. Nice little gym sauna and balcony too. Really enjoyed it there

I was there in an unlucky situation (friends and then me in isolation), but the staff did all the best to help, correctly informing on what to do. Room was comfortable with an excellent bed and a beautiful view of Tromsø's cathedral. My stay there was very pleasant and I'm sure the other services I couldn't use for security reasons are of very good quality.

Nice location. A lot of the activities (northern lights, cruise etc.) meeting point is from the hotel which is super convenient. The hotel is nice and the small rooms are very small but cosy. Not all bathroom products were replaced every day which was a bit inconvenient. They didn’t always checked which products we had run out and which hadn’t. The views from our room were magical.

Great staff, Christian was one of the coolest & nicest I’ve encountered in any hotel. The room was better than expected with a beautiful view of Tromso bay & bridge! Location is perfect and most sightseeing tours start right outside the main entrance of the hotel.

Without a doubt the worst hotel bed I have slept in, or should I say not slept in. Too small, with a split mattress that immediately starts sliding to the side, leaving you in a pit in the middle unable to move. Bathroom is so small you have to plan your every move. Check in was slow and full of misunderstandings. Breakfast and location was excellent.

Very nice hotel. Position in the city center. Beatiful view on the sea. Standard room has enough space, bed is comfortly. No problem with noise from other rooms. Absolutely great is breakfast :). Staff is really nice. Thank you

To offer this kind of comfort in such a remote part of the world. Hats off Radisson group. Smooth check-in, super comfortable bed, warm water, great service and good location. You definitely made our Tromso trip very special.

The views are amazing. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful, especially Erik. The location is perfect for waiting on a guided tour, or just taking a stroll. I would not consider staying anywhere else on my next trip to beautiful Tromso!

I have never left a review regarding hotels on social media in spite of travelling around the world and living in 5 star/ 4 star hotels where our experiences had largely been very good. We had booked a premium room with sea and mountain views for 7 nights at this hotel and were given a room on the 5th floor where there were buildings partially blocking our views. From day 1, we had brought this to the attention of the reception staff and were asked to check daily to assess availability on the 7th or 8th floor where views are better. Initially there were promises that since our stay was long there would be availabilities where they would have to make minimal adjustments to accommodate our request. However today, a receptionist called Sebastian to whom we had talked to yesterday as well, informed flatly on our face that nothing would be available on those floors. When specifically asked - do you mean to say that everyone who is staying on the 7th and 8th floor at this time would not be checking out till 1st January (the day of our departure) he said ‘yes’. Lo and behold - everybody else in the world happens to have the same itinerary like us - what a great coincidence!!! Unfortunately we are not kindergarten students who would be taking this ludicrous statement seriously of course. And definitely he needs a communication skills course of some sort to work as a receptionist or isn’t that a requirement in reputed hotels? This same person advised that we would be charged for every bottle of water handed at the reception - something that we haven’t found in any other part of the world and this was not mentioned in the 1st 2 days of our stay at the hotel when other reception staffs had handed us small bottles of water without quoting a charge! Housekeeping is appalling too with essential items never getting replaced. What exactly is going on in this hotel? We had stayed in the same hotel chain few times in the past as well but our experience had never been anything similar to this! We would definitely steer clear of this hotel in the future but I guess this would not matter to them, as managers of such appalling services have to be nonchalant of their customer needs and won’t be giving a damn to customer reviews.

Good location. In some spots the room was never cleaned, dust and even nail polish on the table. We had to ask for shampoo / soap as there were none when we arrived.

Rooms are clean and corridors are also clean. There is also ice maker which can be used for free and the staff was also nice. Hotel doesn't have its own parking but there are a few right next to it.

High quality hotel. Nice breakfast. Good location. Receptionists are nice. No parking (turns out parking in tromso is expensive and complicated)

Due to an accident of a family member, we had to cancel our stay on very short notice. - Although according to the terms our cancellation was not refundable, the property actually did a refund. - A big "Thank you!" for that for the staff and management of Radisson Blu Hotel, Tromsø. - Tom.

Great location. Lovely rooms. All you need really. The sauna is worth finding for the view from it! 10tj floor although the lift only goes up to 9 😄

Hi! We visited this hotel and experienced a rather cold welcome at our arrival. No explanations about how things work, no questions if we need anything, no info about gym, breakfast or sauna. Found a lot of hair (looked like from trimming a beard or else) in the bathroom. I don’t like to be a Karen so I asked next morning at the reception if the cleaning staff can remedy that. Aaand they did nothing while we were assured it would be taken care of. In the morning a very entrepreneurial Mister billed us a breakfast which we didn’t have/eat. He could bill us, but canceling this was only possible by the reception. Luckily there we got help. And then the sauna. Guys, no emergency button, no timer, if you wanna have a lawsuit on your hands in the future, way to go. Thanks anyways, try to be better next time 😉

Ok hotel, for a Radisson Blu it felt a bit disappointing, we admittedly did book the small room but small is an understatement, there isn't even room for you to open up a large luggage. The room felt a bit dirty and did have a damp smell coming from under the heater cover. And not to mention the amount of road noise you get, considering we were very high up to get that amount of noise felt really odd. The location is great and most of the staff were friendly.

Great location. Hotel services not worth it! Paid for a double bed, on arrival I was given a single bed in a teeny tiny room and told the hotel is fully booked and that bed preferences are not guaranteed. Cleaning services were very sketchy and did a haphazard job. The receptionist was not very helpful even when I raised my concerns it took almost 2 hours and multiple calls to get things sorted.
