We LOVED this hotel! The location is superb and they have free YUMMY breakfast every morning and then complementary dinner, which is absolutely fantastic. We spent 3 days here and wished we could have stayed more!

Hotel tucked up in the harbour with many rooms facing another building 2 m away. This is the seagull city so prefer to park in the nearby garage rather than leave your car overnight on the hotel parking, at least if you have gotten a beautiful car. We had a superior double that was really not up to modern standards, taking your shower in the bath tub without an anti-slip and without a single hook allowing to hang your wet towels. Dinner was substandard compared to other Clarion hotels we have visited on our road trip and breakfast just OK with egg powder scrambled eggs.Poor value for money.

Cosy hotel with a picturesque view on the harbor. The food is really bad though, especially the supper. The service is too restraint, the stuff is too distant to make a guest feel welcome. Cleaning only every 2 days, what's the point?

This place is awesome. I got a concussion before my arrival and I can't imagine a better place to be while recovering. This is my go-to place in Tromso now for sure! Free dinner, tea time with free cakes at 2pm, and free breakfast. The quality of each meal was very exceptional. One day dinner was pasta, potatoes, sweet potato soup and salad with lots of other little items. Another day it was fried fish with potatoes and other items. Tea time was 2 different kinds of cakes, and breakfast was the best with eggs, ham, potatoes, smoothies, hummus, salads, fresh veggies, many kinds of fruit, and breads. Room was good quality and clean. The only issue was the elevator was down when I was there...but it's only a few levels so that was absolutely a non issue for me. Do be aware that parking can be a problem during large event days though. I was sleeping during all nighttime hours but others had seen the northern lights too from the hotel!!

The location is excellent. The meeting points for the tours are at a distance of just 5 mins walking. The hotel is a bit old and needs maintenance. The staff is excellent and the buffet was okay, though they lacked variety. One complaint was though we stayed for 5 nights nobody cleaned the rooms even after we hung the sign outside.

I arrived The hotell tonight with the belive of having a room to sleep at. But when i was to check in I was told my room was overbooked. They claim they did not find my phone number to contact me, but thats bullocs. I sleep 20-30 nights a year in Clarion hotels and have a membership, so it should not be hard to find me. The receptionist did not try to help me to find a new hotel so I was left to find a room on my own in the midle of the night. Had to make calls to several hotels to find a room. Scandic next time

This hotel is the best you can get in Trømsø.. Was there in November. You can enjoy the northern lights right from the jacuzzi or the sauna located on the rooftop! It's magnificent! The bed was very cosy. The room was spacious and had a kettle with tea and coffee. Morning breakfast and dinner were very complete and satisfy all the tastes. You even get to enjoy an afternoon tea with cakes. The view is amazing and the hotel employees very polite. Closed to all amenities and is very romantic!

Good place to stay. Right on the water and near lots of amenities. I stayed in one of the top level rooms and it was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and told me about some good places to eat nearby. If I am ever in Norway again, I will definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at the Tromso Clarion Collection With! We had a harbor room on the 3rd floor and the view was STUNNING. Definitely worth choosing that room type. It’s centrally located right on the water and is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The staff was so lovely and helpful- we felt so cared for and attended to. The meals OMG the meals! We had some of our best meals here and the selection changed daily. The featured dinner is listed on the chalkboard by afternoon so you can have an idea of what to expect. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and the staff can assist if you have other dietary needs. Everything they served was fantastic! The breakfast buffet had so much variety and was so fresh. We would absolutely stay here again and we are so thankful to everyone at the hotel that made our stay so memorable.

We stayed for three nights in a superior double room. The views were amazing, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size. The room itself was slightly dated but clean. We really appreciated the breakfast, afternoon cake/coffee, and dinner included in the price. There was plenty of options available and the food was all tasty.

Breakfast is good. Complimentary dinner is adequate. But the only elevator is still out of order. It is not fun to have a 4th floor room.

Honestly, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Sometimes, in a hostel one gets much more than in this hotel. First, there were no towels in room when I arrived, so instead of having rest after a long travel, had to go and to discuss it with the reception. The rooms are quite basic but sort of ok. The gym is a joke: 4 pieces of equipment and two of them didn't work. A day before my check out I asked for a packed breakfast because had to leave before 7 and they promised me it will wait for me at 6 30. I also asked for a wakeup call and they promised me the phone in the room will ring. Didn't get any wakeup call (they told me the phone in the room was broken). Unnecessary to say, that they didn't prepare for me any packed breakfast too... Quite a pity, because they promised this packed breakfast option and I was counting on it before my 10 hours travel... Comparing to my previous experience with Clarion hotels, this one is quite a disaster.

Hotel is on one of the best location in the center with great sea view. 10/10 Staff was really friendly. 10/10 Very good breakfast (lot of choices) and a little less good dinner. Just 1-2 main food. So food: 7/10 Price is good 9/10. Rooms are clean 8/10. Best regards.

The location is great. The room rate includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner!!! The restaurant is always open that you can have coffee or tea. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the lady who helped me to check in. She provided me with lots of information. And Teddy, he helped me to receive my suitcase from the delivery company and brought it to my room when I was out for the chasing light tour in the evening. (I flew to Tromsø from London via Oslo. Unfortunately my suitcase was left in Oslo 😭.) This hotel they only change towels and clear the rubbish bins the alternative days. Clean the whole room, and change bedsheets on the 4th day after checking in. But, they only gave me new towels and cleared the rubbish bins once on the 2nd day (1st evening checking in didn't count). I have to ask the front desk for new towels on the 5th day of my stay. I don't mind sleeping on the same bedsheets for 7 nights, but I do hope they could clean the floor. It's the reason why I rate them with 4 stars only.

Location of this hotel is just wow. We got room on 4th floor. Its a lake view hotel so no need to worry about the view. At night, City looks stunning from the window. Food in this hotel is amazing. Chef are so amazing. Chef Waheed is so amazing. He prepared a vegetarian dish especially for us when we visited as we were the only vegetarian couple staying in the hotel at that point. Overall, highly recommended hotel for my end.

The hotel is super well located at the city center. We managed to get the paid parking lot from the hotel in front (Clarion Aurora), which was very convenient and the cheapest option available in the area (my tip: keep trying in the next days in case you dont get a spot right away). The view from the superior double bedroom was stunning, but the bed was quite small (140cm wide). Their amenities are from Rituals, but the water from the shower passed under the glass wall which is a bit annoying , but there is a heated floor in the bathroom which was always pleasant to step in. The complimentary breakfast, Fika (cake time) and dinner are okay and very convenient if you’re traveling on budget (they even offer you a vegan or vegetarian option per request). Elevator was not working the 8 days we were there, but the staff informed us it was back on service at the check out (I didn’t check though). Staff very friendly. Overall a great experience.

A nice and cosy hotel in a very good location. I had a spacious room facing the sea and it had all the amenities I needed: a refridgerator, a comfortable bed, nice armchairs and a decent bathroom. The breakfast was really good and the room price also included an afternoon cake and coffee plus a buffet dinner. The staff was friendly and professional.

Really lovely hotel in the heart of Tromso. Easily accessible by public transport - Either airport shuttle or local buses. Room was lovely with an amazing harbour view. The bed was really comfortable as were the chairs. Bathroom had a spacious shower and underfloor heating. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and Frika and dinner were also very nice. The hotel was clean, warm and very welcoming.

Great hotel. I booked the superior double room, with view to the harbour. It’s fantastic! The breakfast is super complete, and the dinner is also very good - simple but very good. There is coffee available all the day and cake during the afternoon - which is also very good. It is located near to many shops and restaurants. If you wanted a good hotel, you found it.

Very comfortable room, great view overlooking the harbor, great location for any tour you are interested in. The big surprise was that they served breakfast, Fika (an afternoon snack) and dinner. The meals were actually very good and not what you might expect for a free meal.

Our room was nice and cozy. We liked that the breakfast had a wide variety of options. The elevator button going down from the 5th floor didn't work which was a little inconvenient to walk to the 4th floor to get the elevator.

A fantastic location, with fantastic food and comfortable beds! They serve 2 meals a day, plus fika. The only problem is that now my kids only want to stay in places where fika is served. We will be back!

Lovely hotel in an amazing location, a short walk to everywhere including the bus stops to get a bit further out. Definitely worth upgrading to a harbourfront room for the most amazing views - we watched the Northern Lights out our window! It is also right by all the hotels you meet the coaches/cars for excursions from - Google Maps says it's a 15ish minute walk to these hotels, but in fact they are right next door and you can avoid the main road and walk directly along the harbourfront to them in about 2 minutes. The breakfast is really good, afternoon fika is very nice though we were slightly disappointed because we had read reviews talking about homemade waffles, but these didn't appear during our 5 night trip. Free dinner is great, even as a vegetarian there was always a soup, fresh bread and about 5 different salads. They will bring you a veggie main if you ask in advance. The room, despite being an upgrade, was quite small and we struggled to find space for our suitcases. However, it was useable and very warm and cosy nonetheless. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel or to recommend it to others :)

Perfectly adequate hotel in Tromso. Location is good. The rooms are dated and simple, but clean. The included breakfast and dinner is very good value and offers a reasonable selection. There is coffee and water available at all times. They have a small exercise area that is disappointing (both the elliptical and rower are in disrepair and there are no weights or treadmill). We have stayed here twice now on our way further north and find it to be just fine and good value for a short stay.

I got a family room with two friends. Overall experience is slightly mixed so I will write them down as a list of pros and cons. Pros: Dinner, breakfast and tea break are provided. The food is generally great, especially for dinner where the variety is nice. Hot water at the cafe throughout the day, which is very convenient. The location is convenient, with many nearby attractions and restaurants. The toilet is great. Adjustable water temperature, great amenities. Service at the reception was good and the receptionist was friendly and spoke good English. Cons: Our family room was at level 6 but the lift only serves up to level 5. The stairs weren't an issue for 3 of us able bodied people but I imagine it might be harder for some travellers. The ceiling is slanted due to us being on the top level, so we often bang our heads on the ceiling. The sofa extended bed was very uncomfortable according to my friend who slept on it for 3 nights. Power outlet locations can be abit awkward. My side of the bed had no accessible outlet so I had to charge my phone at the entrance area floor, which is slightly inconvenient. Note: The picture of the room is untidy since it was taken when we were checking out, it was very neat when we checked in.

Clarion Collection With is located close to Tromsö centre at the waterfront and less than 10 minutes by car from the airport, TOS. The hotel has marvellous views over the harbour and the mountains and are only a short walk from som of the town's major attractions including shopping and restaurants. The hotel has a small lobby and with a restaurant facing the waterfront. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner for the guests and sometimes they run it together with the sister hotel next door, Clarion Collection Aurora. There is a small gym and a relax area in the hotel and a map if you fancy running. A great hotel for exploring Tromsö and the surrounding area.

Old and not innovated in a long time. Good meals; breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff is rude.

Lovely room (601... epic view), relaxing spa, delicious breakfast with a bonus afternoon of cakes then dinner if you feel like a night in. All staff are warm and friendly too.

My favourite hotel in Tromsø - great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds and the included evening meal is always tasty.

Nice hotel on the harbor side in central Tromsø with nice views. One person room on the small side but convenient. Only missed a power socket near the bed side table. They only clean your room on request. Breakfast was perfect with a nice selection of everything you might think of. Free coffee at any time in the restaurant plus some pastery between 3 and 5 pm. From 6 to 8 pm they serve a dinner meal like f.ex chicken with rice, curry or pork with potatoes and a choice of different salads. Really enjoyed my stay here and would come back if I ever came to visit Tromsø again

Great hotel, very clean and efficient. Rooms a little on the small side but if your on your own I guess they would be OK. Extra pillows in the room would have been nice. But on the whole, an excellent hotel and efficient and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again.
