Tromsø's lovely little beach, with amazing views of the crystal clear sea and surrounding Arctic mountains covered by snow. An idyllic Arctic scenery. A lovely walk to the Friluftsmuseet, the hidden gem open-air museum established in 1952, consisting of a few old houses from Tromsø and the surrounding district, is definitely worth it.

Beautiful clean beach for family and dogs. Clean water and a stunning view, even worth a visit in the snow!

Want to spend time with yourself? Away from the hussle bustle and city life, this is a perfect spot, unarguably one of the calm and quiet beaches on the south of tromso Island

Awesome location for watching the Northern Lights when you don't have access to a car. By car you can go anywhere in the regio, but this park is close to the city center and offers a really nice area to observe the Northern Lights. Perfect.

Beautiful little beach. It was pretty cold when we were there, but it was a nice place to watch the sunset. It is just a short bus ride away from the city.

Free spot to catch the northern lights! We were introduced to this place by our Airbnb host and we loved it! While referring the auroras apps, we got there at the best timing and got to see the beautiful lights across the sky. It is easy to get to the beach by taking buses from the city centre. Do take note that the pathway into the beach is rather dark (use your phone torch) but there are many other families and people, so it feels really safe. It is also a little colder as it is facing the sea so make sure to wrap up well.

This is a nice walk out of the main town. The day we visited the beach in mid winter it was deserted. It's supposed to be a good place to view the northern lights if conditions are good as there are few street lights. Nice view over the sound during daylight hours.

Wonderful place ! Very quiet and peaceful. Nice view. Accessible by car you have a parking. We choose to do a big walk of 1 hour from the city center of Tromsø to the beach.

If you have sometime in Tromsø before or after your trip in Norway, it is worth visiting. Nothing so fancy as such here, but a small calm beach so close to the city with few benches and walkways.

Lovely place to have a picnic with children. There's a marvelous and mesmerising view to water and other island's shore. We happened to be there when the tide was raising and it was very interesting to see how fast it was. There's also free parking which is uncommon in town.

Came here at night for a dark spot to see the northern lights in Tromso. Great viewing spot for the lights! Sound of waves while watching the lights above. A couple picnic tables to set up our tripods. Cold and windy but expected.

Nice place to spend between 1 and 2 hours, it is quite little with a few aquarium with local species and a larger aquarium with 4 seals.

It’s a very beautiful place! There are benches, you can sit there and enjoy the view or just walking around. It’s one of the best places in Tromsø town watch northern lights.
