OK. Not many stores seeing as Jekta has put many put many out of business. However, the remaining stores are truly a gem. Especially the international food shop. Costumer service is very good, and they're very talkative and nice to their costumers 😁

It's a good shop for souvenirs

They serve simple reindeer hot dogs with various toppings (fried onion, beetroot, mustard, ketchup etc). There is an open fire right next to the booth. You can sit, eat and warm up by the fire. Price for one hot dog is 50 NOK and toppings are included. Nice place for a little break, snack and rest.

The Rema 1000 is one of the bigger ones I've been to. I was there a little early today, so the shelves weren't fully stocked. But it's a very convenient store to have in the neighbourhood.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, this is for you. Exclusive vegan eatery in tromso. Avacado toast and pasta were lip-smacking.

Got everything I needed visiting Tromsø downtown. It has Cafe, supermarket with great value, post office and places for children to play.

Vegan options mainly pastries as it is a coffee shop. However, please note they do have dairy milk so specify if you are seeking a non dairy alternative for your coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

The main 'high street' in Tromsø is lovely. Really festive and got a good range of tourist shops and independent shops. Everything from jewellery to boots to bags. Well worth a look. Remember to ask for a tax receipt so you can claim back the tax on departure from Norway.

Easy to access and right in the heart of Tromsø

Pokey little place and yet still seems to go on forever. Will I ever escape? Is there more to life than this?

Quite small but a nice cafe upstairs we have been to a couple of time now.

We have had a poor starting during our trip to Norway intending to see Aurora borealis-lights. Two big lugages with important travel equipment had a terrible delay resp. were being sent to who-knows-where. What is more - Our airport transfer didn"t transfer us to our vacation-home. The alternatively called taxi driver was demanding more than the doubled taxi-charge than usual demanded. After all, while putting all backdrafts & benefits on a scale this scale would show up to very good holidays in Norway - Thanks to the contribute of Camping & Lodge's staff in Tromsdalen. Without mentionning their efforts in detail helping our less than happy start to our vacation all staff members helped to care for a wonderful vacation-trip. For all backdrafts we've had regarding airport & transfer problems our travel logistics-contractor is going to be made responsible 😎
