Great food, friendly service and overall a very good atmosphere. I can only highly recommend this place!

Superb Indian restaurant maintaining high quality and staff are nice too. Butter and garlic naan were soft and prepared in no time. Kadhai paneer was good in taste as it was supposed to maintain Indian spices. Good to make a reservation in advance to avoid any inconvenience. Recommended dishes:- Kadhai Paneer & Samosa chaat

The auro was very nice. Welcoming staff and amzing true indian decor. My only negative i feel was the autheticity of the food. Because as far as I could see all Norwegian employees were present no indians to be seen. The taste of everything was dialed down. Less spices and less dimention. The menu was also short. Some major indian dishes like the biryani was missing. Location is perfect. In the city centre and the cleanliness, quality, presentation was spot on 10 on 10.

Nothing but amazing!! Staff we're all friendly and overwhelming helpful. The vibe is truly comforting and in total spent 2 hours eating and chilling. Food was outstanding!

I was passing by with my husband and we decided to try the food at Indie. Everything from the service, to the food was perfect! The Panir Masala that The waitress recommended was delicious as well as the seek kebab naan and taco vindaloo! The cocktail were perfect. The fact that the waitress made the drinks just for us, because they didn’t have it in the menu was fantastic! And the frozen glasses for the beer ahh just perfection!! I highly recommend Indie! If I visit Tromsø again I will definitely come back!

The food only looked delicious. I give it a 3* because the waitress was very polite. The chef served stale dal. Other veggies were nothing more than just edible. VadaPao tasted the best.

Best restaurant with indian food

Such a great Indian restaurant. The service was really good as well as the waiters was really nice and cares about costumers opinion about the food , Nice place and quiet with relaxing music. I had cheese naan, butter chicken and they were all super delicious and great portions in my opinion. Would 100% recommend if you are in the area and looking for yummy Indian options.

In Europe, this was one of the best Indian Restaurants. The food was amazing, and the place looks very cozy, totally recommended 👌

This is some of the best Indian I've ever had (and I eat it all the time). The food was so good we went back the next night. The service was PERFECT. I truly loved everything about this restaurant.

Went out for a meal with my loved one and my, what a pleasant evening! The service was immaculate, the atmosphere was really nice. Absolutely an upgrade over the previous tenants, East. Food was also spot on. Will be back.

We had a nice dinner here and everything met our expectations. The food felt like it was freshly prepared and with care. This was a nice change from other Indian restaurants throughout Norway. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

Fantastic restaurant, tried the after work curry before getting the bus to the airport. Food and service were incredible and the price was great.

The chef has incredibly high standards with the perfection. One should not miss but i must say this place isn’t kids friendly. It would be nice if they have acceptance for kids ( kids being kids- will bound to make noise) equally .

Absolutely terrible experience! Completely spoiled birthday dinner. All thanks to the server in glasses who claimed to be the manager when asked. She was sarcastic and passive aggressive the whole time. She initially asked us to calm our less than 2 year old baby (even though he was not that loud) when we were just getting settled. Then she kept on being rude whenever she uttered a word and thought she can disguise it with a smile. The food was less than ordinary. We decided to leave early with the cake we brought and never cut. Apparently, we should have informed earlier (which we did to a coworker of her when we entered the restaurant , who by the way was delightful!). She did mention that she will make an exception ,again with a sarcastic smile!! Please do not waste your time and avoid this server at all cost. Would have given zero stars if I had the option.

In the middle of a winter storm this meal was heaven. The service and ambience was so warm and welcoming, and I was very impressed with the decor and overall vibe! The negative reviews all seem to be from the same disgruntled family who thought it would be appropriate to drop in with a fussy 2-year-old to an upscale restaurant. I appreciate the manager advocating for the rest of the patrons who paid for a peaceful meal! She was nothing but accommodating and lovely to us, and helpful with recommending dishes. We got paneer masala and the sticky toffee pudding— to die for! Will def be returning before our trip is over.

Wonderful experience with delicious Indian cuisine, calm and cozy atmosphere. Very nice food with a lot of new and special flavors for us (butter chicken with garlic naan are a must!). Our waitress was kind and helpful. We definitely recommend this place to someone who wants an authentic experience!

Overall, was good. Great service and food. Is a little pricey for what you get but not bad at all. Would recommend if you're fancying an Indian on a cold evening.

Was able to get a table without booking, although it was a Monday. Good tasting selection of food, including some vegan options.. very nicely decorated, good service. A little pricey but it is Norway after all.

They had several different options, including vegetarian ones. However, the food was quite bland, and not at all what I expected. Got Butter chicken for my 12-year-old, assuming it would be creamy and easy to like, but it was kind of dry, and she barely ate any. The Palak paneer was also not the best, I've actually had better in Alta. All in all quite disappointing.

The staff was amazing our server was very hospital and witty and smart. The restaurant has beautiful decor and was designed immaculately. Now onto the food. It’s been two weeks since I’ve been here and I can still remember how I disliked it. The shrimp smelled and tasted off. The chicken lollipops were literally Asian/teriyaki chicken wings. Not actual chicken lollipops. The tadka Dhaal and pretty much most of the sabzi there was bitter. Like purposely bitter. It’s like they threw in bitter spices at the end and boy oh boy it was strong. I love my countries food and whenever I travel I make it a task to try that countries version of Indian food. Was this Indian food? Idk you decide. Try it out for yourself I honestly don’t think so.

Nice decor but that's about it. Very disappointed, not authentic Indian food at all. Extremely bland food with no taste at all and the naan-bread was very small and again tasted of nothing.

We were over 20 pax that had a good time here. The atomsphere is great and the menu has alot of variety. We ordered a big shapring-menu. The food here wasnt very spicy, a let-down for alot of us. I think they make it mild to fit most people, allthough we had some expectations that werent met. We had four tables and one of the tables seated more people than the others sp they had to share the same amount of food as the rest of us. We pointed this out to the waitress, they explained that they had put out food for all of us and divided it equally. But as they set up the tables to fit more, they should have divided it up better. The table got some extra food after 20 minutes. When levaing we waited 30 minutes between the first of us got to pay and the last. That was a let down. But all in all I would like to go back and try out more from their menue, emphazising they need to add some spice.

Recently we family of 3 (2 adults & 1child) visited this place, as we were staying in Scandic hotel opposite to this hotel. The place was quiet empty, the waitress came to us and we asked table for three. After sometime the waitress came back and said we have only table for 2 and not for three. As per their website there was no booking was offered. I was shocked to hear that and I felt this place doesn’t deserve even single star. We had to go to another Indian restaurant. Worst hospitality
