Really beautiful architecture. The library is magnificent both from the outside and the inside. Putting the children section in the basement and a student friendly study hall at the top making it both parent and student friendly is genius. Also the cafe is nice not big but a place where you can read the daily newspaper

With a chill vibe, the Tromso library is a very welcoming communal space. You could definitely find something to do be it working on your own stuff, reading a book, or attending an event. The interior design is chic yet heart-warming, making it a comfortable place to spend a whole afternoon.

The architecture of the library is pretty interesting and amazing. They have a part for children too, where they can also draw and sit. You can also find international books. Generally, there is a lot of variety to different topics, be it history, art, plants, singer, poetry, classic, etc.

It is a beautiful library with a very modern design both from the outside and the inside. You can enjoy very quiet and peaceful corners to read books or work on your computers. There is a dedicated children's area downstairs, if you prefer absolute quiet I recommend the top floor. The toilets are free and there is a photocopier and fax machine available (ask at the reception). There is a cafeteria in the building which is perfect for taking a break and enjoying a hot drink
