I have been on a whale tour in Iceland and loved it. Little did I know this trip would easily top that. This tour alone was worth coming to Norway. The staff was wonderful, the landscape was amazing, and our experience with the whales was breathtaking! Thank you so much for an amazing adventure! We were fortunate to see humpbacks, fin whales, and orcas.

Highly recommended, one of the best tours I've ever been on. Yes, we saw loads of orca's, humpbacks and fin whales. Which made the day perfect ofcourse, but this is something out of the control of the guides. Why I give 5 stars and would urge you to book this whale tour? - Daniel and Hannelene are passionate about whales themselves, they really enjoy what they are doing. The knowledge and boatmanship is endless. The enthusiasm is amazing. - Smaller groups, intimate tour - The boat is quick, comfortable, stable and the viewing decks are spacious. - They give the whales space and respect them as animals, this tour is not to make money and drive over whales. Like some of the other boats. Book this tour, you will never regret it.

The best orca excursion you can go on while in Tromsø!! Don’t even bother looking at others. The staff were amazing and friendly. The boat is clean and ran beautifully. I suggest bringing snacks/lunch with you. There was plenty of hot water and coffee with cookies/crackers. The light lunch provided was instant soup though. This was the highlight of my trip! Thank you guys again!!

This has been an amazing experience! 🐳🏔️ The landscape in this fjord is so scenic! At this time of the year, you always have a sunrise/sunset light on the mountains. We’ve found a large group of orca(s). I don’t know how many but surely more than 30 individuals. A lot of babys and young adults and few massive individuals. We were a group of eight people on the boat. Which is why I vividly recommend Arctic Whale Tours. You have the comfort and the warmth of a “big”boat but the maximum capacity is not overwhelming, sthg like +/- 20 people. Great and professional captain & guide on board! ✅

Bucket list ✔️ We saw plenty of orcas, humpback whales and even white tailed eagles. The scenery was like something from a movie. The journey there and back did get rough in places but we were warned out this. The highlight of the trip was obviously seeing the whales in their natural habitat but what made it even more special was the boat didn’t feel crowed and we all had plenty of space. Its a nice warm boat with plenty of seating. Hannaleena was an awesome guide too so thank you! 🙏🏼

This was by far the best excursion we took in Tromsø! We saw countless orcas and four humpback whales. The company was very knowledgeable and respectful of the whales’ space, but also ensured that we got the experience of a lifetime. We stumbled upon an orca feeding and even saw one breach the water! The weather was cold and rainy much of the time, but inside of the boat was cozy and the coffee and soup helped warm us up. I highly recommend booking through arctic whale tours!

Had an incredible day out with Arctic Whale Tours! We saw many Orcas up close and got some amazing photos. The tour guide was excellent – really knowledgeable on the species and super friendly. The boat itself was warm and cosy, with hot drinks and snacks provided. We even saw the northern lights on the way back to Tromso!! Overall, one of the best excursions we’ve done!!

Very nice guide, professional, informative but not invasive, always ready to give answers and information and taking good care of all the guests. Very nice captain. cozy boat, respectful of whales (not aggressively getting close to the animals). Highly recommended! factor in that, depending on the day the boat ride can be long... for us it was 3 hours of navigation to get to the spot where whales were feeding, worth every single minute of navigation. If you have motion sickness - again depending on the weather conditions - take some medicine to prevent it.

Just one the way back to Tromso...it was an awesome day, with a lot of whales (Orcas and Humpbacks). Crew is super nice and well organized. Good respectful behavior towards the whales. We are so happy ans thankful for this day, that we already booked the next tour.
