Great comfy cocktail spot, we enjoyed having a drink here and a snack. The mulled wine was super tasty!

I have been to Solid many times. Sometimes for drinks at night, for coffee in the morning or even for lunch. They have a good selection of drinks and a few nice things to eat. I got this fantastic omelette last time and it was quite a good lunch. They also serve delicious cinnamon roles that are perfect for a Sunday morning together with a Chai latte or coffee. The location is ideal, since it is in the middle of Storgata (main street). Solid is definitely one of the safest choices in Tromsø, you can’t never go wrong going there!

I am biased to this place, remembering drinks and coffee with friends there many years ago, back in the teen years with little to worry for and less responsibility. It has a cozy vibe over all, that makes me think of student days, and I quite enjoy how that vibe remains unchanged. It's worth a visit with a friend if you want to sit and chat with drinks, the music is often at the right volume too.

I ordered a beer and sat down on a stool, to be told I was in the way. I left the beer and fled. Terrible

Great cafe to hang out in, write, create, enjoy. Cappuccino is perfect. White Russian delicious 😋 Friendly and local, but doesn’t exclude visitors. I really enjoyed my time here.

When me and my friend arrived to Tromsø in the evening and we didn't know what expect from night Tromsø streets, on random explore of this city we found Bar "Solid", and instantly fell in love, the staff was super friendly, good ability of the staff to speak English and when we wanted to drink, they gave us to try some small samplings of their beer. I wish to see this place again!

Went there after having dinner at another restaurant in the area. They have really good coffee and all the other kinds of drinks you'd expect from a bar. Unfortunately there was no cake available (but that's maybe because we arrived past 9 PM). The place is really cozy and there's good music playing in the background!

Solid is a good bar that is nice for few afterwork beers or meeting with friends for a pint. The atmosphere is nice and laid back and there's plenty of room. Have not tried it in Friday nights though. The bar staff is nice too. Apart from that it really is just a bar with nothing special going for it.
