We were a group of 6 persons. We stayed in villa B19. The lighting in the kitchen is very bad. One can't see when cooking. The oven was dirty and smelling fish. There were cockroaches on the kitchen counter and cupboards. Upstairs, one of the rooms had cockroaches and no a.c in that room. We did not use the room. The bathroom door was broken. We went for a 2 night stay but on the first night itself we wanted to come back home... Very dirty villa, we needed to clean it again before using the kitchen n bedroom and toilet.. Mattress in bad state. A big rat was found in one of the toilet. Cat come to sit in the outside furniture... Waste of money.. Mess our holiday.. Even the cleaner who come next day was rude when we told her about the state of the villa.

I do not recommend this place unclean pool, unclean rooms, toilet bathroom smell so bad and rat in the kitchen. So dirty place and a really bad experience go at your own risk.

Had a nice time there last week. The owners were very friendly and we did not encounter any problems with paperwork. The villa was clean and tidy. AC works great in all rooms and gas stove works fine. The only issues we encountered was that the refrigerator does not work properly and the pool is not well maintained. I would also suggest future clients to bring their own cooking utensils, cutlery, dish soap, sponge and bodywash/shampoo.

I occupied apartment B12, No kutllery, very dirty, defective bathroom, the refrigerator not functioning, my foods were spoiled. Furnitures are in very bad state. I informed the owner about the fridge. No response. No consideration for at all. I don't recommend other guest.

I stayed here with my friends in August 2017. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially the night guard I'm not sure of his name. The area is so peaceful and serene and the beach is less than a minute away so beautiful. There is a nice swimming pool in the courtyard which visitors can use as well as free parking. The villas itself are clean and tidy, ours had a large kitchen and 2 bathrooms, balcony, veranda and lawn. However it's better if you bring your own hair dryer/iron etc as these are not supplied. Plugs are 3 pin like the UK. TV is nice and big. There was a construction happening across the road while we stayed here but it was never any bother and probably completed by now. It is not far from the local town (Flacq) perhaps 10 mins drive. Recommend hiring a car as I didn't see any buses in the area. Google maps works extremely well and mru sim cards with data are incredibly cheap I was actually quite suprised! Otherwise you can always download the entire map of Mauritius on Google on WiFi and use it offline when driving. Free WiFi is provided in the villas as well. Les Badamiers is also ideally situated for excursions to the nearby Ile aux Cerf island as you can catch either a catamaran or speed boat just a few mins walk down the beach/road. Parasailing is also very nearby at the Belle Mare beach 5 mins up the road. Mauritians are very kind and welcoming and never try to take advantage of tourists after all this is their livelihood but you can always have a friendly little hustle ;) Everything on the island is affordable.
