Good way to spend the day at the beach. Little trip by boat to go on the "île du cerf" and you can enjoy amazing beach and lagoons where the water is so hot. Just pay attention at the mafia that try to take you on the island for way too much money. Price ranges between 300 and 500 the ride without food on the island nor cascade trip view.

Very nice place ❤️ Welcoming hosts. Friendly people in the streets where everyone is very helpful if needed. Of course also tourist place, and maybe be shore to talk to the ones near the beaches who work with getting tourist on boat trips. Or your hostes.There have been people been booking and paying by phone, in front, and didn't get the tour or trip they paid for. Didn't get a hold of the one they booked their trip with. But, very beautiful place🌞And a great place to stay🥰 Absolute recommend ❤️

Well, i was there to use up dome time, but even then it was at max 30mins, wouldn't bother with this again. No tickets needed. It is a tight road and no easy parking.

La Case Poisson top sea food

Not much there to see except from a pond, a tiny bridge and a gazebo in a bay. Quite dirty and with quite a lot of trash. You can take a boat here to the island but that’s about it. Looked like a bit of a rough neighborhood.

You can take boats from the quay to go to nearby islands like ile aux cerf. There are many boats at the quay that do trips with lunch on the islands.

Trou d'Eau Douce, a vibrant coastal village located in the east coast side of Mauritius, welcomed the literery compeition prize giving ceremony and we had the privilege to listen to some folklore music by local artists. We also took the opportunity to visit the "La source" the place where the "fresh water" oozing from the ground joins the sea.
