They
make
some
darn
good
smoked
BBQ
and
tasty
sides
at
Dinosaur
BBQ!
Our
first
visit
to
Troy
and
we're
glad
we
stopped
into
Dinosaur
BBQ
for
lunch.
They
apparently
do
a
great
lunch
business
on
the
weekends
as
there
was
a
20-30
minute
wait.
We
happily
found
seats
at
the
far
end
of
the
bar
for
immediate
seating.
The
bartender/server
was
extremely
pleasant
and
helpful
pointing
us
to
some
of
her
favorites
and
providing
feedback
from
other
customers.
We
opted
for
Prime
Brisket
sandwiches
with
Spicy
Cucumber
Salad
and
BBQ
Fried
Rice
as
our
sides.
I
noticed
many
other
customers
were
carrying
out
to-go
boxes
and
I
could
see
why
when
we
got
our
food.
Portions
are
large!
The
brisket
is
a
great
sandwich
topped
with
pickled
onions
&
Jalapeños,
and
the
house
sauce.
The
cucumber
salad
was
delicious
and
had
a
tangy
bite.
The
rice
was
good
too
but
I'd
probably
try
the
mac
and
cheese.
The
folks
next
to
us
got
the
Creole
Deviled
Eggs.
They
seem
pricey
but
they
are
loaded
up
and
looked
awesome.
They
seemed
to
enjoy
them.
Dinosaur
has
a
creative
menu
and
friendly
staff
which
at
the
time
(Jan
29)
all
wore
masks.
Located
riverside,
the
restaurant
has
a
great
atmosphere
and
looks
to
have
an
awesome
outdoor
seating
area
when
the
weather
permits.
