To all Americans🇺🇸!! Do not take your dog there! The doctor is mean ,disrespectful, and very aggressive with dogs . I repeat if you love your dog find another spot.

There are two primary veterinary clinic in La Ceiba. For 8 years, I took my dogs to one of them but was growing increasingly concerned by the vet’s shaking (aging) hand and lack of communication within his staff (ex: overdosing on vaccines as a result of not communicating). My dog was showing symptoms of pyometra (pus in the uterus) but I did not trust her usual vet. I took her to clínica Centaurus and, within 2 minutes was in the exam room. They immediately took a blood sample and explained the results that showed infection and what needed to happen next. In less than 30 minutes from when we walked in, she went into emergency surgery. I felt well informed, understood the procedure, and sufficiently confident to leave her there and return home - all things I had not felt at the other vet clinic for many years. My choice between the two primary veterinarians in La Ceiba: Centaurus.

Good Vet with professional care for animals. I feel his protégé is a bit too rough with the dogs and needs to handle with more care.

It's very nice and no need for reservations

While on my month stay in Le Ceiba, I took my dog here for a teeth cleaning, and I brought a stray dog here for some medicine, vaccines and a checkup. Both my dog and the stray were very well cared for. Would highly recommend! :-)
