Beautiful smaller to moderate sized free park. Always loved it here! Beautiful body of water and animal n natural life. Nice walking trails nearby. Also gazebo n benches to sit and relax. Such a nice spot for all ages. Free to enter . Free parking.. lovely spot to spend a little time there, or to spend a day. Many have small gatherings as well. Love it here ever since I was a kid.

A nice short walk. The trail isn't well marked but it's easy to backtrack if you make a wrong turn and hit a dead end. The carpark is large enough that you can always find a spot. The trail is popular with mountain bikers.

Fantastic walk that you must visit. Many different sights even in winter COVID friendly with lots of friendly people. Never feels crowded as you explore the river and old sites

Old Mine Park is great for hiking as well as sitting by the water eating lunch on your lunch hour. There were plenty of geese in the water looking for something to eat as well. No matter what you do at Old Mine Park you'll have a good time that's for sure. Pictures were taken on a nice March day.

Passed by this park on my bike. This was the only spot along the 10 mile rail trail that had easily accessible Porta potty. It looks like there’s bathrooms as well perhaps open during the summer. Beautiful spot.

12.15.2019 We walked to bike trail today like we did several times this year. We love it everytime we go. This is a nature walk (not a hike). The previous day was a lot of rain and the brook was really flowing. Although i took a video of the roaring brook... This site won't allow me to upload any videos. The video i uploaded to the group "connecticut and outdoor adventures"

Beautiful little park in a nice area. There is off-street parking, grill, picnic tables, open field for sports and bathrooms.
