poor customer service by front desk employees, unfriendly. The site has machines in perfect condition but the site needs better cleaning, in the Machine Zone it smells bad, papers on the floor, you cannot carry your handbag and have it close to you because the employees do not allow it, that is, it is your turn walking with everything loaded in your arms because you can't have a bag there, it's super difficult to do your routines, if you're going to do a circuit (2 or 3 varied exercises) then it's a problem because you can't move the dumbbells and bar from where the employees want you would have to go from corner to corner to complete routine, terrible... ahhh and the water filler damaged

Call one time.Told them that I want to canceled my membership they told me that i have to come in the gym ok. They never notify me that i had to cancel before the 10 of the month. The staff that I call and spoke was very rude with an attitude. Now im telling my bank to dispute it to get my money back. Dont go here

Last year I transferred from Planet Fitness in California, and I started to assist with the facilities. Initially, I thought the team in Trumbull had not actually understood or read the big vision statement posted everywhere in the operation stating the objective in creating a unique environment. I think the team understands the definition of the environment only as the treatment and respect of people. At times they forget that the physical condition, appearance, and readiness of the operation is perhaps 50% of the Planet Fitness experience, to me. This year it seems there is a concerted effort by the management to 'clean-things up' and more importantly, enforcement of cleanliness, respect, and order in the environment. If I am doing something wrong with the equipment, or using it incorrectly or inappropriately, I would like to know. This not only impacts the longevity of equipment, but it impacts the effectiveness of the exercise in my goals of fitness. And this was the feedback I recently received that made me think this location was up to a higher standard of service to its users. This makes me want to come back every day. I enjoy the people that are working there to support my goals, and the people I meet there that also share their goals and frustrations, but important is the cleanliness of the restrooms, and this has improved dramatically for both users and caretakers. I like the layout and size of the gym but MAN they need to get a new AC system. It is hot af in the gym. The only reason I keep coming here is because it’s the closest to my area (and it’s bigger than the fairfield location). FIX THE AC PLEASE

Excellent training classes are offered for free with a trainer. If there is only 1-2 people it's like a personal trainer. Gym is well lit and the equipment is spotlessly clean. Front desk is very helpful. Men's locker rooms are filthy, hot and poorly lit. Stepped on chewing gum as soon as I got in. Showers barely trickle water; no caddies to put your own shampoo or soap in. Everyone tries to use the shower reserved for handicapped - it's the best one.

I have been here to try a free day. I think it's Ok if you only want to train guided machines or cardio machines. I didn't like the place because they don't have a free weigh or power lifting area (Barbell and disc and/or a rack for aquat).

The staff and manager were very helpful and made it easy for me to switch my membership over from my home club. Lots of cardio equipment available, clean, and I think reasonably priced. A good local gym.

I don't go as often as I'd like to, but I've had a good experience. I liked it when the black card was 20 dollars.

Have been to lots of PF locations in CT, and this is by far my favorite one. Have been going for 2 years now. Staff is very friendly and they keep the place spotless. Locker rooms and bathrooms are immaculate, always smelling and looking very clean.

Horrible. You get tricked into an upgrade they claim you did itnon your app. My daughter noticed immediately and the Manager, Danielle, who took a week to get ahold of, was nasty and basically told us too bad!! She's stuck with the membership amd she is a student. Almost $30/month is food!! And $60 to get out of the membership. OMG! I contact some email bc of course there isnt a LIVE person. Ridiculous. I'm sure everyone has heard of the ABC Financial Scam. How they can't cancel without a charge bc of ABC. Ridiculous!!!!. I worked for various clubs in my over 20 years in the fitness world. Take it from me. It's a freaking scam. The general manager is gonna override anything. If they tell you any different, it's their sale strategy. It's poor and it's ridiculous. I've managed so many clubs over the years and let me tell you..... Remember that Lee's unhappily will tell everyone they know. I guess planet fitness doesn't understand the basic concept of sales!!!

This place has completely turned around. The previous manager was horrible and rude and the staff were USELESS and always on their phones. Since the new manager Cat has taken over, the place is always clean, if a machine breaks its repaired quickly. The staff are attentive and friendly. I never see staff on the phones anymore. The new equipment is great. I have never felt so welcome in a gym as I do now. They actually care! The staff remember my name, they ask me about my weekend and remember what tanning bed I like! Cat and her staff all deserve a major raise for all their hard work. Great job Planet, I am a very happy customer and plan on staying here for a long time to come. I wish I could give ten stars ⭐️

Originally i was robbed there they did nothing. I left honest negative review when they asked and i transfered to Branford. I visites again one weekend. When asked if i woyld recomend to a friend i answered the email absolutely not. This time Planet Fitness stole my money. They waited for me to pay my monthly dues after i paid they canceled my membership because of the negative review they asked for and wont respond to me or the better business bureau about refunding the money they stole. I warned you if you go here its your own fault. Worst most unethical business ever!!!!!!

They deserve 0 stars or at least Kat the manager deserves 0 stars. My locker was broken into. They took all my stuff went into my car stole the money I had. The manager wouldnt even answer when the staff tried to contact her. All they have to do is check the camera and see who entered my vehicle. Betsy told me the manager said they have no access to the cameras which is a lie. Staff has complained to me that the manager has no life and just watches the cameras at home. She wont check the cameras to make it safe for customers. She is allowing the person who broke into my locker to stay at the gym. So now i am going to have to find another gym. They got all the new equipment most of the handles are broken i reported it to the staff. Nothing was done. Its a third rate gym that is not safe. It does not belong in Trumbull if it is not safe for Trumbull residents. The owners should FIRE Kat immediately and hire someone that will take care of their guests!!!

Many machines don’t work and don’t hold their settings. Stopped in person to request cancellation of membership and front desk said I did not need to do anything else and it would not renew and yet it renewed the next month and I was charged. Have emailed and received no response. Membership still shows active on app and has a billing date for the next month still.

Young gentleman that went Bullard was very nice and helpful. But a few weeks ago the manager was very rude to my son. Kids are humans too and need to be treated with respect.

My daily go to place. The location in Trumbull is getting new equipment so it will be even better. Only a bit busy when all of the high school kids come in and stand around the machines

The entire facility has been updated. New machines and a bit of rearranging. It's super clean by staff. AC seems to be working just fine plus a couple nice big fans. Managment and staff doing all they can to keep it lovely. Music a wee bit loud. Tanning all working ok. I was ill a long time and was hesitant to return here due to some harsh reviews. But alas the place is revived. Wonderful! So happy! Go see for yourself. U will be happy you did

Oldest and the most disgusting 🤢 planet Fitness in the world. Needs remodeling asap I regret leaving my last gym this is unacceptable for the black rock pricing or any pricing I am paying. I need to speak to someone concerning this Staff doesn’t clean shower everyday. You will get sick I am never using the locker room ever again. I saw the same trash in the bathroom for 2 days and it’s still here. @planetfitness what is going on with the 25 Linderman Trumbull CT location who’s the manager this is absolutely unacceptable. It smells like mildew and dirt in the gym. Remodel and hire cleaning crew or you’re going to get people sick and pay out a lot more I’ll be following up on this I do hope you respond to my concern. Terrible management, GM is never available, my insurance covers a plan...however, the person phone wouldn't allow me to sign up without a credit card. Then he offered me a variety of memberships.

I really love the experience of the gym. I use to work out everyday until I met with a few accidents over the last 5 years. I'm taking it slow just on the bike and some light weights to get the heart pumping. Overall during a time COVID 19 lingering it takes your mind off a lot... I would suggest it to anyone...I wish that I had joined years before my accidents it would have prepared me for an easier recovery....Thank you Planet Fitness!💪

Ample equipment to use and clean. Wish there were more rowing machines and space for abs and bodyweight workouts.

This gym is way to Crowded now I left the edge for that reason once my membership is up I'm going back to the edge yeah its crowded but the space is bigger and I'm able to get a good workout but aside that the staff are great!

My first Gym ever... Started my earlies 40's...returning after 11 yrs. Back home Connecticut. As soon I'm sattle back to Planet Fitness Trumbull.

The gym is clean, it's 24/5, and it's a PF. Usually they're a standard 3 based on the LACK of free weights/barbells BUT they're 24/5 and that is a godsend.

Planet Fitness Trumbull is the truth very large and clean if you know what to expect from the franchise as far as weights and equipment this one is top notch
