The world’s largest wooden church! It truly is a site to see! We haven’t been around at the right time for a tour but will soon. I hope funding can be raised for repairs and that she is around for many years to come!

This church is definitely a destination visit. What an accomplishment! The magnitude of this gigantic and ornate construction of this wooden church can not be simulated by photos!! The only way to achieve the full emotional experience . . . is to be there in person. Just amazing!

Beautiful outside, This place is like a Disney castle church! Largest wooden church in North America. Too bad the inside is not open. Someone needs to donate a whole boatload of money to renovate this thing.

A wonderful place to visit! I would love to see a mass here but went during museum hours. It costs $2 to enter, but I would urge you to upgrade that to a bill if you're able. If you're a history buff, Catholic, spiritual, or just like pretty things, this place will interest you! Every thing has a brief but informative description: From stained glass, to statues, relics (one from the cross!), and many other things used in the former Catholic Latin Mass. (if you're a Catholic Traditionalist, this is your Nova Scotian Graceland.) When you're close, you'll see the steeple before you see the church and it is astounding. You won't understand how high the church is until you see it. A must visit.

This has to one of the nicest places I have visited. This is a good indicator of how close this area is to its people. Remember to bring some sun flower seeds to feed the bird often right in your hand.

We went when it was closed but the outside is really impressive. That such a testament to faith was built in this quiet communal community is truly amazing.

We stopped by here and visited the cemetery behind the church. More for research of some of the same names as is in our family in South Louisiana.
