Recently started working in the area. Great experiences so far at Castle Building in Mahone Bay, Buck's and Gow's Home Hardware in Bridgewater. Ordered windows to this store and when they arrived, they sent them back instead of receiving them. Simple mistake, cost me hundreds of dollars. Go elsewhere!

Had the item I needed and loaded in my vehicle. Staff were competent and very friendly.!

Not very good experiences here. I'm not sure why they state in their flyer that they do installations, mind you it was last year, 2021 , when I went in to purchase a new front door, I was told to get a contractor to take the measurents for my new door, for some reason mine weren't acceptable. I wanted them to do the install but they said there wasn't anyone in the Bridgewater area who would do it, so they phoned their Halifax office & nobody was willing to come down to install it either, so roll ahead one year, I bought my new door from Bucks, they had no issues with my measurements, I hired someone else to do the install. Now this year, 2022, I go in to buy bi-fold closet doors, the lady tells me hardware is not included with them, and they only had 2 of the 3 I needed, so I go to Bucks & boght the 3rd bi-fold plus the hardware for the other 2 I purchased from Kent, roll ahead a month to when my carpenter opens the box to discover the hardware IS included with the bi-folds after all, so off I go back to Bucks to return the two extra packages that I no longer need, wasting more time that I really do not have, if their employees knew in the first place what they were selling that would not have happened. Overall my experiences at Kent have been both a waste of time and frustrating , not to mention the SAME bi-fold door is LESS $$ at Bucks, just sad!!

I have to give tremendous credit to the store manager. I did not have a good experience at this store. The millennials who work there should learn a little about customer service and how to do their jobs more efficiently. I was about to leave our very large order at the cashier after a wild goose chase for some items that we were going to purchase. However, the store manager stepped in, and calmly and professionally resolved the situation. The staff could learn a thing or two from him. Thank you, sir.

Time seems to slow down at this kent. Always issues with the pos system. They need a new location that's bigger and updated. Prices also never seem as good as bucks.

Very helpful yard staff

Inspect anything you buy here for damage, preferably before you leave the premises. Specifically construction items that are boxed and you can’t see the condition of what’s inside. It will save you a lot of time, money and hassle later.

Always a go to, even for just a look around. Staffs always friendly, supply’s sometimes an issue especially when I order online, however that’s everywhere. Wish they’d expand to be more like those in the city.

After viewing their website I saw they had a lawn tractor I was interested in buying advertised on sale $200 off. I called to see if they had any in stock or if they could get one in and that I would buy it if they did. The woman I spoke to said I'd need to talk to the manager and he would call me back in the afternoon...its now been 2 weeks and no phone call. Was I expecting too much? I bought elsewhere.

Josh Yu was a great help to us when ordering materials for a new deck. He was knowlegable, courteous and professional.
