The food is awesome! All the dishes that we ordered were full of flavour and playful to the palate! The greek bruschetta was really good! Overall, it was a great food experience and I would love to visit again!

The atmosphere here is great, feels like a family run green taverna - exactly how it should feel. The owner/cook (not sure) came out to check on us multiple times and make sure we were having a good experience. The dips are delicious as is the bread. The vegetarian Moussaka was good but could have a had a little bit more flavour, that’s where the 5th star is lacking. I would definitely return to try other dishes!

This is by far the best restaurant in all of Halifax! The service, the drinks, the flavours of the most delicious food is absolutely incredible! The owner Jimmy works hard to ensure the best customer satisfaction. Our waiter, Sasha, has always treated us with the utmost respect and is #1 in our books! Thanks guys!!

Truly delicious! I loved everything about this place, excellent service and divine food! The moussaka was delicate, very smooth with savory lemon potatoes & fresh salad 🥰 I also ordered family dinner from this place. We enjoyed chicken and lamb screwers with dips trio. Highly recommend this Taverna 👌

Great food and service. Enjoyed the table-side flaming cheese and calamari appetizers. Entrees of souvlaki of chicken and lamb, both juicy and spiced perfectly. Waiter and waitress friendly and helpful and restaurant stayed open for us as last customers. Highly recommend

Amazing place! Wonderful service and delicious food! We celebrated our paper wedding anniversary last night and the waiter and cheff made us to feel very special. The place is lovely and the food was delicious! We definitively recommend this place.

Ordered Solomos Skaras. It was not great, the potatoes were very tangy and salmon fish tasted raw and too fishy. There was skin at the bottom which tasted very bad

Lovely little spot for dinner or lunch. Food was tasty and the owner actually pulled down the front awning for us because the sun was in our eyes.

Great food and great service. This is not fast food so be prepared to enjoy a nice evening out. The food was delicious especially the dips. The service was excellent with the waiter cracking jokes and ensuring we had a great time. We will be back!

Best Greek food in the city! I always order from their website for delivery and it arrives fresh and hot under 45 min every time! Highly recommend the pita wrap combo and the rice pudding!

What a Happy Valentines we had with beautiful meals from The Blue Olive! ( we did take out) We had company and everyone raved just how great the food was. Thanks once again to Jimmy and his staff for making our dinner the best! You remain my fav! We have more company coming from Whitehorse the first week in March. We will be ordering for sure!

My lady and I stumbled across this place and we’re beyond delighted with our food, was a warm welcoming environment, Jimmy and his family treated us like one of their own! Can’t wait to come back for round two.

The food is usually good, but the service has consistently been lacking. We have had them lose or forget our take out and delivery orders multiple times, they seem to be consistently understaffed which makes for long waits to pick up takeout. Orders often mixed up or are no longer fresh. Vegetarian menu has few options with protein.

Love the atmosphere of this place- really felt like a warm day in Greece. The server was very nice, and the food was great. I would recommend the flaming saganaki to try!

This restaurant experience provides friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere, however I have experienced traditional Greek cuisine, the Blue Olive Greek came close 8/10.

Wow! Finally found a Greek restaurant I’d happily return to. Comfortable, cozy spot with excellent food choices. Pikilia Platter for 2. Nice selection for tasting. Shared the grilled lamb. Delightful cocktail selections and wine to accompany dinner.

The atmosphere and service were very nice. The dips and dolmades were delicious. The salmon was well cooked but unfortunately the rice was cold. The Pasticio was lovely but the rice was also cold. Overall the atmosphere was excellent, the food was good and we enjoyed our time. One small thing would be that the washrooms could have been a bit cleaner.

Best Greek food in Halifax! Consistently amazing food whether dining in or takeout. Restaurant is beautifully decorated with a warm cozy atmosphere. Options for vegetarians and carnivores. You won't be disappointed.
