    It was my 1st time eating there and I can't complain . Friendly service and food was delicious 😋😋😊. Will be going back for another Italian sub .

    Ordered online, said order would be ready in 10 minutes so drove over arriving at the mentioned time. It was 15 minutes later when an employee asked for my name to tell me my order was almost ready. Five minutes later I left with my food. Got home to find it was not as ordered. Both my wife and I had asked for no pickles, guess what we both had. Seems minor, but on top of everything else, it was fitting.

    If I could give Zero stars, I would. I went to this Firehouse (Trussville) three times in one week. The orders were wrong every time. I went the first time to pick up my daughter’s and her fiancé’s food. They made my daughter’s sandwich all wrong. I Didn’t realize it until I was home. She had to deconstruct everything and add things from our fridge. She called and the manager was rude. The second time, I ordered food and the sandwich didn’t have the items I asked for on it and they put things on that I didn’t want. I called the DM and she said I could get another one, no charge. I went back a couple of days later and they made it again. I checked it, but it still didn’t have any condiments on it , or some veggies. Firehouse is Expensive and Used to be my favorite sandwich shop. But they have messed up our sandwiches the past Ten times. The new manager is extremely rude and I’ll just keep my money. This place needs an overhaul and training to give customers WHAT THEY PAY FOR. NOT GOOD!!!!!!!

    If your business hours are till 9pm, then a customer should be able to walk in at 20 minutes till 9 and place an order. That is not what happened to me. When I walked in the store at 20 minutes till 9pm, with the NEON OPEN SIGN LIT, the employee said.. "I'm sorry, we are not taking any more orders". I said "not even for a salad". She said "no". I said "you should close and lock the doors and change the sign on the door to close at 8:30." I'm not sure if the problem is poor training, lack of communication from managerial staff or just that the employees don't care. But either way, it was not acceptable. I sat in the car to write this review and 5 people went in after me and were told the same thing. The only person that got food was the door dash driver who picked up food at 8:55pm.

    Overall great experience! A special shout out to the lady that was up front and in charge during my lunch time visit. She had a lot of energy directing and keeping the staff focused and moving along during a very busy time. When I came in, I was about 6th in line and the staff didn't miss a beat. I will definitely be back!

    My sub was delicious, customer service not so great. The cashier was rude and smacking gum as she was taking my order. I take customer service very seriously when visiting an establishment. I started to walk right back out the door.

    I love the service the GM Leslie and her staff give. . They know me by name and aleays willing to do last min catering for me. . the food was hot and fresh. . Byt please being back the lemon cooler cookie. Those were my favorite

    Ok this sub was amazing. I needed more because normally I share a foot long but this was so good that I immediately regretted not getting a foot long for myself. I got a philly cheese steak. I would chop the green peppers thinner or smaller because they were huge chunks but that isnt a big deal, but would make each bite have a green pepper amazing taste if it was smaller. Definitely enjoyed. The bathrooms were also nice and clean. Great experience over all.

    The people were nice enough, but the large cheese steak was 12.99 and didn't have enough meat to fill the bun! They also barely put any mayo on it. If you want a real philly and are going to Birmingham check out T-bones. His large T-bone Philly's are 9.25 and have so much diced steak on it that it's a meal by itself! Do yourself a favor and support a black small business owner, and once one you fall in love like I did, I hope you'll join me in convincing him to start a franchise!

    Oh my goodness! So amazing!! The servers were so very nice. The food tasted so fresh and was made fast but no so fast that you thought they didn't care. The bread was warm and soft and the meat was juicy. There was just the right amount of veggies and sauce. It was a delicious mix of food.

    Update 5/12/2020: Stopped by to get a sub the other day and ordered by phone. When I went into the shop to pick it up, none of the employees were wearing masks. I find this incomprehensible both as a customer and would as well if I worked there. I won't be ordering from Firehouse until all employees wear masks. ----------------- I eat here every time I travel to Bham. Today I was traveling early and went to get a sub at 10:30 a.m. Their register system was down, so they could not ring my order up. They took my order by hand and gave my son and I a complimentary sandwich! Customer for life!

    I called in an order, was told it’d be ready in 10-15 minutes. Got there and my order was not ready. Waited so long that I did get a complimentary canned soda but my order, a Firehouse Steak & Cheese with mushrooms that was supposed to have Sautéed steak, melted provolone, sautéed onions and bell peppers, mayo, and deli mustard didn’t have anything but Sautéed steak, melted provolone and mushrooms. Totally plain and disappointing after waiting over 25 minutes! How can an order be messed up that should be so easy? On one part of the menu it mentioned lettuce and tomato, but I didn’t get those! It didn’t even have mayo or mustard! It definitely was NOT worth what I paid for, nor what I thought I was going to get. I was very, very disappointed.

    When enter the facility there was no one at the register, and once my order was placed. I went to get my drink the machine was completely out of any or all selection. When telling the cashier she get smart and said "omg yall did you hear that the drink machine is out of most drinks." I walked away and they other workers turned to her and said what and she repeated herself again "omg yall we are out of almost all our drinks" and the walked away laughing. The staff is very unprofessional and mocking this is not the first time I have had a issues with the Trussville location. This location need all new staff and a better interview process along with better customer service training videos....... Food was room temp and lacking overall flavor we also got no pickle. This place had gone in the dumps.

    If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This is my 2cd time visiting and the food were great both times. Unlike Subway, they're not stingy with their products and you get your money worth. Pricey but worth it! I also like the fact that the manager acknowledged her crew/team and told them good job during the lunch rush. As I am typing this message now she just said it again to her team. So 10 more stars! Always applaud your crew. That's what makes them wants to come back the next day and work for you. Great Job, Trussville location!!

    I have always had a good experience at this location. Zay almost always remembers my order, the store is always very clean. I saw another review about rude employees, I have never experienced that in the 6+ months I have been to this location. If anything I have experience the opposite, excellent customer service and always clean. I go after the lunch rush so normally between 1:30-2:30....never that long of a wait and everyone is very polite. I'm pretty much a once a week regular

    Told us it would be a 30 minute wait ordering dine in due to a high volume of online orders. We were in the restaurant ready to order and it would have only taken 5 minutes to make our food. We are local customers and we will not be back.

    Waited a half hour for a small sub that I didn't even get. To worried about door dash! ; edit 9-3-2020 went back tonight to try again and got a perfect sandwich! Really nice service with a smile! Maybe a five minute wait. I feel better about going back !

    I had never eaten at Firehouse Subs before. My power went out during a storm and I was just looking for a place to sit down to eat and plug my laptop in to finish studying in the middle of the Covid-19 fiasco. The food was good but the staff was less than cordial. The girl at the register didn't say 2 words to me, no "hello" "how are you" "welcome to Firehouse"...nada! ...and it was like pulling teeth to get any information out of the other two behind the counter. But, again, the food was delicious.

    I usually eat here (Trussville, AL) Location once or twice a week. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. I was turned away and told they were “closed” 40 minutes before closing. I’m sure the franchise and the owner of the franchise would probably not agree with turning money away. Especially with the Covid restrictions and shut down we have/had. I then, walked out to my car. Called and asked if they were open. They said, over the phone. They were open. I put the order in. The surprised look on their faces when I walked in. Again, I will not be back. I ordered this last time. To prove a point.
