Intundla is heaven on earth. It was a short getaway for us to celebrate my birthday and I enjoyed my stay, my heart was full for the excellent service we received. The place is good, if you want to go and de-stress and enjoy nature. The food is excellent...the chef have a signature chill sauce that I wished I would take home...let me not forget the cake he baked for my birthday... Thank you Intundla...we are definitely coming back

I was part of a group from the Dept of Education. Wow, what an amazing experience. We were treated like kings and queens. Beautiful surroundings, near to nature, the fishing was an amazing experience and very relaxing. The conference room was well equipped and workshop friendly. Food......better than the best. Hospitality excellent. I loved my room and the view. The songs of the birds and even the "crying" of the babboons late afternoons. Will definitely come here again and also motivate people to visit. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. One little problem is the GPS that took us on the Boekenhoutkloof road, a horrible road. Rather use Moloto Road from Pretoria.

Great Lodge to spend quiet time with a good book or your favorite fishing rod, or relaxing at the day spa. No music is allowed, creating a peace that brings so much birdlife right to your feet. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a small coffee station and seating providing a great view of the dam and lodge while reading that book you've been wanting to. The food is fantastic and the restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. Every meal was delicious and I will never forget those omelettes and waffles. The bar is well priced and the perfect place to discuss the days fishing over drinks (I didn't catch anything, I'll blame the cold weather) or have a light lunch. There's also a really nice dartboard so take your darts with if you fancy a game. The spa is a short walk away and the professional treatment was enjoyable and relaxing. Wifi is available for those that just can't do without, but you can entirely "switch off" here, if you really wanted to.

I went on a short winter "solocation" to intundla Lodge and Bush Spa midweek, for 2 nights. Book directly with the lodge because  all other sites apparently  have the wrong prices,  don't  know why. I requested a solo package including  food which they kindly curated and discounted for me. Really appreciated  that. The drive to the lodge is simple and can be accessed using any car. However the road is gravel and fine sand so could be a challenge  when it rains. Staff is super friendly  and welcoming. The room location  was excellent with stunning views of the river/ stream. The room was nicely setup. Bathroom  is dark with no natural light. Made for a shower in the dark the next morning  because  of loadshedding (the backup generator was   broken apparently). Lot's of blankets which helped because  it was winter time. Downsides, lot's of spider webbs and a bit dusty (granted we are in the bush). Both my lamp shades were broken which took away from the esthetic. The outside balcony area was quite high up but didn't have balustrades all around. Safety risk especially  for kids. No WiFi code provided and no phone in the room. If you need assistance hope you have your own phone. Hiking trail was nice and easy for any fitness level. It was slippery in parts so would recommend shoes with good grip. The spa was very very very underwhelming.  Arrived and there was no one to greet me. The walk to the spa and surroundings are very disappointing  given the stunning  river that flows. Sprinklers were on and I had to time them to run past to get to the spa entrance or risk getting  wet in the middle of winter. The spa is very dusty and not well kept. Few glasses and mugs for tea and water randomly placed and uninviting. Nowhere to place your clothes once you start your treatment. Therapist looked very uninspired. The spa room is badly kept, dark, dusty, broken walls and old looking tables. Not therapeutic  and relaxing at all! The treatments  themselves were done well but other than that very very underwhelming  to say the least. No one ushering me out after the treatment. Simply walked out, lacking customer service. Overall scenery is lovely, staff is friendly. Nice quiet and relaxing  but lacks attention to detail. They're  not doing justice to the location.

I can't wait to spend a night in one of the rooms by the river. We went there to book the place. And the staff offered us food and drink before negotiations. In a bar built into the river, that feels like it is floating on the water.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Intundla Lodge for our birthday weekend getaway. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The breakfast buffet and dinner was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much for any of them. They make you feel like family. What an amazing experience. I would recommend this lodge to any one to get away from the City life. Thanks Magda and Dries

Rooms was very nice and also the food , only thing is the bartender didn't have any change so he owed me money and the next day he denied it.

😠 Really a big disappointment and put a downer on our experience at the reserve. Asked for Medium rare and clearly stating to put the cheese sauce on the side... When it arrived it was so cold it felt as if it was straight out a fridge, asked to get it put back on the grill for some heat, but instead...
