I cheated and drove there with my kids just to show them what the hype is about. Went on a wekeend so its not crowded and they had fun looking at the legacies of what others have left behind and they pasted a few of their own too.

Definitely one of the most iconic places the lamp post one but holy the mosquitos there are ruthless!! It’s exactly what it is a lamp post with a ton of stickers on it! Very interesting indeed

Going here is one of the milestones if you are doing round island, but be careful. - There is absolutely no pit stops from Gul Circle until here. - If you are going here during noon, the sun will most likely cook you before you even get here since there is no shade. - and if you are unlucky to go here during a less busy period with no heavy vehicles, stray dogs may come out to play. Those with 1 star review can be ignored. Do research before coming. Yes its just a lamp post number 1. Yes its dusty and nothing other than lamp post. As a cyclist, is a challenge to ride at Tuas. As for those got nothing better to do, will just act like kaypoh auntie saying " Just a lamp post" Try ride with bike sharing, and enjoy the ride.

A lamppost at the most west public area filled with stickers, stamps, papers of people who have been here. Beyond it will be a restricted area. It's an awesome landmark as it is tougher to reach due to lack of public transport nearby. Kudos to the cyclists for cycling a long way to reach here. And as for people who dont wish to cycle, the only other way to take bus to the nearest bus stop a few km away then walk, or else grab or drive your own car.

Nice unique landmark. 13 km from last western Mrt station. Jogged there. Caution for people going there from evening onwards because of very territorial packs of dogs. At night the dogs no see well anything they chase.

Bumpiest ride this part West… Quiet Sunday nights after our foreign workers all back in their dorms, but be prepared on the bumpiest straights with much road debris … 2 Sundays, 2 different bikes, both suffering issues after. Will continue to rise up to the challenge with better made gear to be tested. Very windy crosswinds , very good workout still. Just be prepared for a mini Paris-Roubaix…

I made it! Cooked but not fried 😅 advice to start early, avoid the scorching sun and plan over the weekends as this is an industrial area. Too many big trucks! SG bucket list - ☑️ 12 Mar 23

Great place to visit especially because it’s in the middle of nowhere, the peace and serenity of the area is very much appreciated. Try not to go during afternoon due to the heat especially because Singapore is a tropical country it is easy to feel that it’s very hot. There are also no nearby convenience stores so do bring your own hydration and food.
