Its made by their local sculptor in 1993 and it is really magnificient, as well there are quite a few simmillar, but not so great as this one... I really feel this represent Bali in best way😀😃 Also it is UNFAIR not to mention famous balinese hospitality, Everybody is so nice that you cant belive! It situated next to road junction. The sculpture looks great and the it has really great art work. You cannot spend more than 15 minutes here. Its better to go in evening time or early morning.

Place is cool to hang out while seeing plane flying and enjoying roasted corn or meatball. If there is water attraction, it will be more pleased. No good light, a little bit darker in some spots.

I just went to take a fast look but it actually seems a nice place where people is used to gather together. Especially impressive with night lights. Only problem is the craziness of the traffic all around!

Everytime we exit or going to Bali Ngurah Rai Airport we will pass by this majestic Satrya Gatotkaca welcome statue in the first traffic lights en route to the airport. I always think "welcome to Bali, the island of Gods!" when I see it. The statue depict a Bratayuhda war, where Gatotkaca (the strongest of the Pandava brothers, he's able to fly in space without using the wings, and famous with the nickname “muscle wire iron bones") battled with Adipati Karna on a moving chariot using his powerful weapon which is a celestial bow.

Located close to the Denpasar airport. Local people simply call this place as "Patung Kuda" or Satria Gatotkaca park; Horse statue which surrounded by green grassy garden. The grass and plantation are clean and well maintained, no rubbish is found. A really good and confortable place for spotting planes taking off and sitting relaxed in the evening. The statue looks more interesting in the evening since it is lighted with different light theme that changes frequently. A lot of family usually visit this park during the weekend. No entrance fee is required, just to pay IDR 2,000 for parking fee. We can also buy snacks, drink and roasted corn in the entrance of the Mosque which is situated across from the park. Best time to visit this park is in the morning and late afternoon till evening.
