This place is AMAZING! Talk about the best kept secret of Tucson. Though there menu is small, everything is made fresh daily. Their stuffed quesadilla was huge! To big to finish. The Birra taco was served with a cup of its own drippings which intensified the flavor. The roasted veggies were straight from the ground and complimented the flavors of the different meats without overpowering them. The workers were absolutely wonderful. They were polite and helpful and when I mentioned the horchata was sour they didn't hesitate to offer me a different flavor. Their pineapple aqua fresca is so delicious and the flavor is subtle. 10/10 you have to try this place if you're in town. My wife and I were happy fat people leaving this place. Bring cash if you want to leave a tip!

I don't think I can eat Mexican food from anywhere else now. 2nd time we have ordered here and everything was amazing. There are very few places left that you can taste the love and this place is one of them!

What a wonderful establishment. Fantastic customer service with nice owners. My mom and I got the Carne Asada tacos and combination plate, both of which were delicious. The salsa bar was amazing. Especially the roasted veggies and peppers, which included habenareo peppers. Oh, so good! Their dishes are freshly cooked daily, and they sell tamales to go. It's definitely a must try if you're in town!

Authentic Mexican food at a good price. The tacos had the perfect amount of meat and a ton of flavor!

Came one night right before closing and they didn't even hesitate to take my order. Plus the owner came out to meet Buddy for a few minutes. The next thing I know he's back and hand feeding Buddy a big steak that he cooked especially for him. Of course, Buddy loved it. I didn't get any pictures but will get some when I go back this weekend. The food was amazing. The meat was so flavorful and tender. The tortillas were fresh and definitely homemade. I can definitely see why they have the rating they do. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I tried this for the first time today and oh my God it is amazing. The portions are perfect. The meat is juicy. The seasoning is on point you definitely need to try it out. I got the combination birria.

We ordered a lunch special & 3 separate tacos. It took quite a while for our food to come out. The tacos were cold, bland, and the salsa was extremely watered down. A gentleman waited 20 minutes for his food and they brought it out wrong as he wanted it to go. He then waited another 20 minutes for them to box it up. 🤦🏻‍♂️ we won’t be coming back.

My boyfriend and I had been meaning to check this place out, so we did today. I got the adobada burro, and he got the carne asada combo plate. All the food was good, and great prices! My only complaint was the pork had a little more fat than I'm used to, but that wasn't enough to dock any stars in my opinion. It just gives me a reason to try other proteins! The star of the restaurant was the service. The lady at the counter was super helpful, friendly, and smiling the whole time. She was a delight and made the experience amazing. Store was clean and comfortable and the food came out pretty fast. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting tasty Mexican food.

We tried this place last night and it’s so good, we’re back again today for lunch. Everything we’ve tried is fresh and insanely tasty. The salsa bar is good, too! The pricing is very fair compared to a lot of the places around. We fed 3 of us for $25! The chef came out and talked to us and he was so kind. This is going to be our new food spot and everyone should come try it out!

Went in for take out. I ordered thriving Uber eats. Inside looked very clean. The food was not ready when it said it was. From the time I ordered to when I left was about 25 minutes. So took a little longer than the 15 mins quoted. The food was delicious. I ordered 3 items. Haas. Papancha minus mushrooms and chicharrone taco( the order was incorrect, there was just a carne asada taco) I was really looking forward to the chicharrone too. I'll have to try next time.

Ate here today for the first time, and it was excellent. My husband has worked on the west side and found the carne asada as good as it is in South Tucson. Pricey, but high in quality and quantity. We have leftovers for another meal.

I usually don’t write reviews but this place was so great with service, price, and the food quality was on point. My burrito was delicious and it was loaded with chicken. You can tell it’s family owned too so it’s always nice to support local.

Went here for the first time and this place is really good. Picked up two different combination plates and both were excellent quality and amazing flavor. I will absolutely be going here again soon.

A younger cashier greeted us and seem to be training somebody new. We ordered two meals and the first one was beautiful and fantastic the second one which I assume was made by the trainee was still delicious but definitely lacked in the presentation. It was a good experience that I plan on eating here again.

Quesadillas were good. Chicken burrito was great. Carne asada was tough and loaded with fat. Flavor was good but was just too hard to eat!! Tried a tamale as well. Way tooo much masa and way too little meat! Young lady that took our order was very pleasant. She explained all the dishes to ladies who knew no spanish! It was very HOT in there!! We thought maybe the air conditioner was broken but apparently mgr too cheap to turn it down to a comfortable temperature. That was enough for me to not return!!!

We went to ranch rodeo for lunch with some friends celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary. It was a new restaurant for my wife and I the people were friendly the chef even came out and we had a conversation which was uplifting the waitress is very helpful and manager slash owner helped us with our order for this is our first time there which is going to blossom into many more visits.

The ambience and service need work. It's not really a dine in restaurant, you order at a counter. We intended to eat there, but our food still came out in to-go containers with plastic forks. The ordering process was chaotic. The food was pretty good, but the environment kind of ruined it. No music, no energy, pretty dead and depressing on a Friday at dinner time. Spent $35 bucks on 3 tacos and a burrito only to get fast food style counter service.

I love the tacos! I took my friend here for her birthday, and I wish I had taken pics, but I was too busy enjoying the meal and chatting with my friend to think about it. The carne asada tacos are tender, tasty, and high quality steak. I believe they were mesquite grilled too. The service was superb. We were even given a sample of their homemade beef tamales, which were very good. I will definitely come back. It's terrific to have good tacos on the East side. In the near future, they will be expanding their menu to include some extras like rib meat. The only thing I wish is that they had chips on their menu.
