This is a small intimate restaurant. It’s a vegetarian place with all vegan options but one. I asked why she doesn’t just drop the one item to make it officially “vegan”, and her answer was the greatest thing ever. She offers a vegan carrot cake that her mom personally makes. It’s a family recipe and I loved that she kept it (even though in vegan). This place made good so pretty that I felt guilty eating it. I will give this place 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 5 stars! Everyone was so nice and the service was amazing.

What a delightful restaurant experience I had here! The ambience here and pleasant. Parking is in the back. It's small so reservations could be a wise idea. They have all vegan options except for their carrot cake dessert. I had a delightful eggplant. My friend had the homemade pineapple soda and the delicious cauliflower steak entree. We shared two appetizers and enjoyed the soup of the day as well; a lot of food for two people. However, we wanted to try as much as possible! We took home some of our entree so we could share a dessert -- the oatmeal, apple, berry treat topped with coconut ice cream. We enjoyed every bite of everything, knowing it was high quality, vegan food.

Presentable and delicious. The server and host were attentive. Ate the butternut soup, spring rolls, the butternut and green chili polenta, and some sort of Italian soda (my boyfriend ordered it). Enjoyed every minute of it. It's a small place but well worth the taste. I recommend using debit over credit card due to the extra charge.

Chef Sigret and Keanne have provided a quality service for years, but they've really outdone themselves during the pandemic. Opening a can of beans and hopefully finding a vegetable that doesn't need much prep gets a little old! Checking out the menu for the week really makes my Friday- they always have a variety of tasty and nutritious meals on offer, and now they deliver right to your door. Chef Sigret and Keanne are truly essential workers!

Vegan fine dining in downtown Tucson!! This place is fantastic, very cozy atmosphere and tucked away in a walkable part of downtown Tucson. Kind of a hidden gem actually. Had the cauliflower steak which was delicious and was accompanied by their minestrone soup which was equally good. All fresh ingredients mostly sourced locally. Very generous portions left me more than satisfied. Very friendly staff and great service. Looking forward to returning soon.

This place has great atmosphere, the staff is wonderful, and they have the best vegan menu I've seen! 😀 I couldn't have researched a better place to have a New Years meal with my girlfriend.

The food is incredible, the ladies creativity is great, you will probably leave inspired. It is hard to put into positive words how good the food was during my visit. Run, don't walk to this restaurant!

The Tasteful Kitchen is absolutely wonderful, I'm so glad we found them! We've been getting weekly deliveries of excellent, gourmet-prepared, plant-based meals including decadent main courses, beautiful salads, and satisfying desserts. For me it's a healthy and wholesome way to add luxury to my life. I really love the variety, plating/aesthetics, and convenience. I look forward to it every time!

Really delicious food—highly affordable compared to what one would pay to go out or to have it catered. The delivery service is great, and they’ve proved plant based eating can be utterly satisfying.

I ordered Thanksgiving dinner for me and my husband from Tasteful Kitchen this year since it was just the two of us. It was our first order, very impressed! Everything tasted wonderful, we will definitely order some weekly meals in the future. Our compliments to the Chef!

Eggplant was outstanding and desserts excellent

ordered the beet burger. The burger itself was good as well as its accompaniments. I did not care for the sauce on the burger which seemed to have horseradish in it. My guest ordered the herb roasted cauliflower dish which was served with roasted tomatoes, pesto, potatoes and collard greens.

After two weeks of touring Arizona and eating uninspired food in remote locations, we were delighted to find The Tasteful Kitchen just a short walk from our final stop in Tucson. Staff were friendly, the restaurant is peaceful and well designed. There's an interesting menu with a lot of variety for vegetarians. No alcohol is served, but you can pay a corkage charge and bring your own. Our only complaint was that the food was pricey.

The menu here is a journey to read, I had an amazing vegan cheese soup to start, followed by the cauliflower steak. Both were absolutely delicious. I am looking forward to going back to try something else.

Service was good, but menu said veggie sushi had black rice. It was white. Too many sauces to taste all the ingredients. Menu said it include kimchi. I couldn't tell. It did not taste bad, it just wasn't good enough for more than 3 stars.

I was amazed by how tasty the food was here. If you are in for a nice and long dining session, I would totally recommend this place. The service was really good, he knew his menu and if it was too much for us as an appetizer or not. The nachos were the best part of the evening. My friends were amazed by how good it was as well. Only downside was that there were only a few desserts available. Conclusion: great food, nice atmosphere and the place looks nice and it's not rushed.

Neither me nor my girlfriend enjoyed a single thing we had (the vegan sushi was passable), found the food to be outrageously expensive (I paid less for similar food in NYC), and it took what felt like an hour to get our food (but was prob closer to 45 min). Only saving Grace for us was the decor, it was a very nice environment to have dinner, and the staff, who, despite being slow with the food, which is no big deal, were extremely kind. I would not eat here again and would not recommend it to my friends, but it might be good for some people.

The dishes at this restaurant are so creative and tasty! We had the vegetarian sushi, the Portobello Wellington, and the Miso glazed eggplant. I'm going to be dreaming about these dishes for a while.

A gem in the heart of Tucson. Tasteful kitchen has an interesting menu, quietly attentive service, and a leisurely approach that is reminiscent of Europe. The ambiance is quiet, with soft background music, making it a fine place to have a conversation over dinner. A nice alternative to chain restaurants and the noisy atmosphere that has come to characterize so many restaurants. Certainly worth a try.

Excellent plant based food and service!

THIS is a great place for vegetarians. They even make their own sodas. I had the portabello mushroom wellington, and a sweet potato soup. Really exceptional. GO HERE!

Tasteful Kitchen is an extremely... tasteful experience! By far, the best vegan fine dining we've had in a "New York moved to the southwest" atmosphere. Food was extraordinary, price conscious compared to the mainstream alternatives, and well put together in a presentable picture. Perfect for fancy dates without having to succumb to the steak culture. However, I will have to deduct a star for the... chairs. The chairs one must dine in are quite stiff and bum numbing. You would think for the vegan healthy folk this place attracts, they would have chairs for those without extra cushion on their rear. But maybe that's why they do BYOB, to assist the numbing process. Despite - still the best in town and would do again without a doubt.

Best Vegan in Town!

The Tasteful Kitchen is one of the best choices in town for healthy eating. Health is extremely important to me and it's often hard to go out and enjoy a restaurant experience without feeling I'm compromising my diet and nurtrition. Not here! They have tons of raw, organic, vegan, and vegetarian options. And the cooks are amazing... The food is absolutely mouth watering and divine. The scenery is also gorgeous with artwork on the walls and very romantic lighting. I always ask my dates to take me here! ???

Called in an order for take out, waited 45 minutes, it was expensive, and tasted burnt. This is the second review I've ever written. The one saving grace was that the staff was fairly nice.

From my understanding the owners constantly fight over family stuff at work making staff have to deal with that bull. I know for a fact that They give personal employee records and information to a handicapped biker and who knows how many others.

Simply. Delicious. I'm not vegan or vegetarian. It's been easy to take a core meal and add to it when I need to.I love doing the soup and salad for a light dinner, too. I'm trying to follow the MIND plan, a variation of the Mediterranean diet. Every week I can always find foods that work for me. I actual feel better/healthier with their food. I'm on a low salt diet as much as possible and was a little worried since they don't do special orders. NOT a problem! The seasoning is perfect and sooo flavorful! I started using them Thanksgiving 2021, and have been ordering weekly ever since. The delivery service is also super convenient. Highly recommend.

We celebrated my husbands birthday here for the first time. Everything was delicious from the sushi roll to the carrot cake. The southern greens and beans were seasoned to perfection and the okra hush puppies were to die for. I am not vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised how well everything taste. We will definitely be back. Service was excellent!
