First Sonoran dog ever for me so I don't have a good idea to compare. We both really enjoyed them and we would come back again. The carne asada was really tasty also and the toppings bar had a lot of options!

First off, the chips were not good....they were stale or just really flavorless and hard. Check your receipt because I was charged for something random and didn't get it fixed because I left the restaurant. The food was okay, I've had better Sonoran hot dogs and cabeza tacos. The atmosphere was great though.

This plave serves pretty average tacos but at astronomical prices. The meats are very poorly seasoned as well. I spent 31.50 on the items in the picture. You tell me if that is worth it. The caramelo alone was 10.50 and it was not worth it. You can see in the photo, it is the bottom right item. Sonoran dogs were alright but also unreasonably priced.

Their food is very delicious!! My friends and I went a couple of times . I enjoyed their michelada, my friends loved their margaritas. Their tacos had good flavor , they also have a variety of sauces and toppings .

I was in Tucson and stopped in to try a vegetarian Sonoran Dog. I ordered a side salad to go with it. The Sonoran Dog was so delicious that I ordered a second one! They were all out, so they offered to go to the store and get more for me. I accepted their generous offer and waited for my second serving. I think that's great customer service because I think every other place would just apologize and tell you they're out of stock. They took it to the next level of customer service and got more. I give them an A+++ and a gold star. ⭐ Thank you for the amazing veggie dog and amazing customer service!

BK serves outstanding Mexican food. This is the first time I had a Sonoran hotdog, it was unique and delicious hotdog. The guacamole served at this restaurant is outstanding, as well as the tacos. They have a salsa bar with many salsa choices and condiments, the salsa bar added more flavor to the already amazing meal. The combination plate allows you to select a choice of drinks, I recommend the Horchata. If you enjoy Mexican Food you will love this restaurant.

I've been here several times and tried a good number of items on their menu. Let's start with the not so great things about this place. The burrito isn't worth the price tag, the service is bare minimum and parking can be a little difficult sometimes. The good! The Sonora Dogs are my reason for coming back here every Friday. They have about 6-7 different ways of making them and they're all so good. The rest of the food items on the menu are just as delicious too. The burritos....I just can't justify the near $20 price tag for something so small and okay in taste.

Highly recommend trying a Sonoran style hot dog. The combo sounded weird at first but it totally works and it's super flavorful. I also got a carne asada and an adobada taco, both of which were good. I liked the different options available for toppings at the salsa bar. The only negative I have is that the bun was a little soggy by the time I got it due to how many wet toppings there are, but I guess it makes sense.

Can’t seem to wrap my head around how this place has so many good reviews. The Sonoran dogs were average at best. The camarillo (basically a quesadilla) was $10.95 and incredibly lack luster. I couldn’t believe the size of the camarillo (see the bottom middle of my photo for reference). Our total ranged just above $30 for the 2 of us…. complete disappointment, especially for the price!! None of the beef had any flavor, cheese was average, and tortillas were not even pan fried. The horchata was the best thing we got & was probably only bc it came from a pre-made machine.

Our server was awesome. Very polite and attentive. I ordered the regular Sonoran hot Dog, a caramelo, and a michelada. Everything tasted great. The salsa and condiment bar is in the center and you can grab as needed. The hot dog was delicious tiny bit of a kick to it, but you can order it without the sauce. I liked the seasoning on the caramelo and ate just as without having to add more to it. The michelada was tge best part. If you can drink you need to have one. I am not a drinker so one was enough, but I could see 27 year old me having 3.

We were visiting Tucson from Seattle, WA, and heard a lot about the Sonoran Dog. We searched online about a dozen restaurants or food trucks, decided to give BK Carne a try. Very satisfied with the hot dog. Definitely a 5 star. Waitress were friendly too. From the dining table to the decorations on the wall, the environment of restaurant also deserves five star, The only regret was that the waitress didn't introduce us that customers are supposed to help themselves to add any of the add-ons located at the center island.

Was so happy to find a veggie Sonoran hot dog as we wanted to try the staple but don’t eat meat. Thankfully, the hot dog was very good! We also had the tamarind and hibiscus juices that were some of the greatest that we’ve had. Would definitely recommend!

Good enough to go back :-) . The servers are friendly and their cheese is delicious. However, their corn tortillas taste prepackaged from the supermarket (as opposed to freshly made or from a real tortilleria), and the guacamole was disappointing: it was like a fluffy paste or a creamy blend or dip or who knows what is mixed into it, but there were no chunky bits of avocado and it's definitely not freshly made either. The flan tasted like they bake it with corn starch or something; it had a bit of a cake texture as opposed to eggy curd.

My first sonoran hot dog did not disappoint. It was appropriately messy with all the toppings (whole beans, cheese, mayo, hot sauce, mustard, relish) I love all the flavors they have on this dog. Not sure what kind of grilled chile they served on the side, but it was spicy af so only had a few bites. Interesting briny kind of flavor for a chile. I'm assuming it was pickled, then grilled.

We decided to go through the drive-thru to buy someone some food that really needed it. The guy in the drive-thru was outstanding. He was so helpful, kind, and got us everything we needed. The food smelled delicious, and the next time I'm in town, I will definitely stop here. Thank you for being so wonderful.

If you have never eaten a Sonoran style hot dog it is a must have when visiting Tucson. There is a local controversy about whose is better BK or El Guero Canelo. I am going to steer clear of this, but I would recommend you try both and decide for yourself. I will say BK does represent the community well as far as good eats goes.

Chips and salsa(taco bar) were fantastic. Sonoran hot dogs had great flavor but the hot dogs seemed to have shrunk since i had them last. A bit pricey for what you get.

Excellent meal and fast and attentive service! The food was fresh, the bun soft, and beer was satisfying. I especially liked the grilled onions being available, nice touch! Get the “extra hot” salsa in squirt bottle on center island, goes great with lime, pickled onions, and Cotija cheese!! Great Latin American restaurant!

It is one of the best Locals restaurants serving local flavors. They have a variety of food on their menu to choose from. We started with a queso con Chorizo that had a heaping pile of Chorizo on it and served with corn or flour tortillas. I had the Carne Asada Burro that was loaded with meat. They have two sizes of Burros. I chose the large and took 1/2 home for the next day. They have one amazing Salsa and Condiments bar for the extras. I will definitely go here every time I visit Tucson.

Tired my first senoran style hot dog here. Enjoyed the various salsa and drinks here. Guacamole was more like blended avocado and didn’t have much flavor. Seems like a more normal thing down here to just have guacamole made from only Avacado.

Tasty food in low key spot. Carne asada and adobe pork tacos were the winners. The stuffed jalapeños were amazing This place not only has a salsa and fixings bar but it has a salsa and fixings bar with flat panel TVs. Also I had my first Sonoran hotdog here, pretty good.

Just got a grilled chicken Burro w/ Avocado & cheese. Everything about it was delicious. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Tucson, AZ and I highly recommend them to anyone. Very friendly staff & clean environment!

Such a variety of taste sensations that were great combinations and different that I've ever had. Even the hot dog was so unusual with a bacon wrapped weiner combined with beans and other toppings and tomatoes in a sauce all inside a fantastic bun . There were peppers stuffed with creamy cheese sitting in a tangy sauce,as well as pickled pink onions specialty soups and other treats. I could just go on and on but I'd make myself just hungary all over again!!

First time in Tucson and needs to try a Sonoran dog. BK did not disappoint. We got the queso fundido with carne asada and chorizodogs. The food was delicious and the service was great!
