Oh how I would love this to be a franchise restaurant so I could have it available in more places! The friendly service to top off some of the best tacos I've ever had makes for a stellar experience in my book! This is plate licking, finger licking, beyond delicious...drooling and moaning good food! Perhaps the a possible warning sign could say... Warning: the food is so good it may make you moan in delight! Super busy location with a long line usually...so be prepared to stand awhile and wait.

The food here was great! Nice little brunch spot by a great coffee place. The food was really filling. I got a breakfast plate with eggs and like chorizo I think? And they also served a good salsa with it! Loved the atmosphere courtyard area. It was beautiful and very busy.

Good food, good service. Such a fun and cool environment. Seating is all outdoors. Could use more tables though there’s so much empty space and the whole time we were there there were probably 20-30 people in line consistently, so get ready to wait. Food took about 40 minutes to come. There’s some close little shops right around the restaurant. Meals were around $15

Delicious authentic Mexican food with reasonable price. The crispy fish taco was my favorite. Either way, you will enjoy every item on the menu. The live music is also a nice addition.

Excellent food and drink! We shared the Chorizo Potato tacos paired with a Cochata beverage.. Cochata is an rice milk drink with coffee. The sprinkles cinnamon on top makes the drink! Cool and refreshing🌴 The corn tacos were flavorful and came with a side of country potatoes. (Wedges). An order means a trio serving (three). You had a choice of beans as well. Not sure if refried or whole. We decided to try all of the salsa's with our tacos (mild, medium & hot. We liked the hot the best! The salsa is served in little serving size plastic condiment cups. The ambiance is pleasant with music playing in the background, and sunshine! My only complaint is there are flies hanging around and the trees excrete pollen. The tree situation can be remedied by avoiding sitting under the arbor umbrella...lol The server was gracious and prompt when needing to take our plates. This a quaint place to have a meal and enjoy the surroundings with excellent food!

Beautiful & Tasteful!! Appetizers are definitely shareable as you can see. Chicharrones were crispy & fresh. Each entrée delivered exquisite flavors from Mexico. Not as authentic but the concept of its style & flavors definitely was great

Consistently very good tacos, burros, quesadillas and smashed beans. Beautiful setting in the Mercado San Augustin and the staff are all super friendly. Often a line for lunch but it goes quickly. No bar at this location but drinks available in the courtyard, the other 2 locations on River and North Oracle have bars and identical menus.

Looked up a place to eat on google and I can’t complain. This place has fresh corn tortillas along with delicious ingredients. I ordered a quesadilla of green Chile and cheese and WOW! The way the cheese, chiles along with the onions and queso fresco mixed together made an incredible mix of flavors!! The pineapple cucumber drink was fresh and delicious. The Jamaica was delicious as well. The burrito is about 2 lbs large. The rolled flautas were delicious. This is honestly one of the best regional Mexican restaurants I have been to. Worth the wait in line. When there’s a line you know it has to be good.

I enjoy the quaint downtown restaurant. It had a great selection of tacos. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. I also had the cucumber lime agua fesca. It was very delicious. I also had the nachos which were delicious as well. They were a large and filling portion.

I can see why people are lined up to the sidewalk. The food here was amazing. The pulled pork tacos we’re off the hook. The rice with puréed chili was the bomb. Beware if you order the loaded pork quesadilla. You’ll need to loosen your belt a notch. It’s all outdoor seating on the patio some tables are covered. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I always see lines when they are open, so that's a good sign, to begin with. I finally had the opportunity to try it out for lunch and I was impressed. They have a great variety of dishes, sides, & drinks. I got the quesadilla with the chicken tinga, the Chipotle sauce was amazing, with just the right level of spice. It came with a choice of a side, I got the side salad that was a full size, and the cilantro dressing was perfect! I paired it with the cucumber water, which was amazing as well! I will definitely be back to try other dishes! The seating is outside, but they have heaters to help ward off some of the cool chill. Great music, the atmosphere felt inviting.

I was definitely surprised by how highly this was rated but still thought the food was okay. We had a crispy fish taco, fried avocado and a chicken one! For sides we did black beans and smashed beans. We also got the trio guac salsa appetizer and the prickly pear limon Fresca. Service was great and all the staff super kind and welcoming (refilling our water as we waited for food). A thing to note (not the restaurants fault) but there were sooooo many gnats and little leaf/pollen things that fell from the trees. It was all over us and our food by the end. Every time i took a sip of water i was picking out bugs. The beans came out cold/lukewarm for both of us and even the fish tacos were not super warm. We did think the fish tacos were the best of what we tried.

Fast ordering and table delivery. The price is high for no special flare. I’d still recommend others to dine in. The courtyard space is relaxing and inviting.

Decent - but slightly Americanized. Tucson is an extremely competitive Mexican food market...I would have likely rated this a solid 3.8 on food - service was attentive so planting a 5 there, vibe is cool with nice outside seating...but the horchata may have been the best ever, tipping the scale to a strong 4. Smashed beans also a solid 5. Carne Asada was quite tasty, but expected the Barrara tacos to be fried, hard shell with the sauce (Barrara sauce is a delicious sauce that is made with dried chilis, annatto paste, onion, Roma tomatoes, and spices. This red sauce is then added to the remaining beef cooking liquid to form a delicious dipping sauce for the tacos.) There was no sauce here. Seis reminded me a bit of Blanco's on Skyline - appeals to the masses, but if you are a true Mexican Food connoisseur, there are many other, more purest options to try in Tucson.

The quality of food was excellent. Would highly recommend any burrito they have, all the meats are fantastic. The service was quick and easy. Quite a popular place so just be prepared for a bit of a line but it goes by quickly. Nice spacious seating in the plaza area. Will definitely be returning.

Very disappointed with my order! I asked for a Cochinita Pibil Mexican style quesadilla with chips. I got no Cochinita Pibil in it and got black beans instead of chips. I had to go back to the place to have it as I initially requested. You guys should pay more attention to your clients’ orders since it’s a waste of money, time and food.

Imagine this. You're wandering around Tuscon, hungry. And then you see this, tucked away inside a quiet little complex. But the smells were amazing and we figured it should be good and oh it was! The tacos were amazing, the salads so fresh, and the service, very polite and prompt! Loved this place and definitely gonna visit to try more of their specialties on the next time I'm in Tuscon.

Overpriced tacos that don’t even come with a drink. Wait was long and had other people be served before me even though I ordered before them.

Clean restaurant and good menu. Also serves margaritas . Three of us went for lunch and we didn't have any alcohol, but the bill was still $70. All three of us had tacos, chips and salsa, and guacamole. We also had soft drinks. The chips and salsa took quite awhile to be brought to our table and within a minute or two of getting the chips, our tacos came out. The salsas are bland. The tacos are average, good, but nothing special. The quality to cost balance isn't there IMO. The place is average. Staff were nice.

Seis was a short distance off of I-10 and offers a nice range of Mexican dishes including daily specials with seating in a garden courtyard area off the street. We got conchinita pibil street tacos and grilled mahi-mahi fish taco platter, along with an order of chips with two flavors ("green" and "red") salsa. Various beverages are available. The street tacos and homemade corn tortillas were some of the best we have had. After ordering food at the window, they designate a table number and your food is brought to you. The setting was very nice. We will definitely return when in Tucson.

  • 5/5 Carrie M. 5 months ago on Google
Our first time, won't be the last. Be prepared to wait, but worth it. We enjoyed the atmosphere. This location had no bar, no problem purchased from the bar in the plaza. You have your table number assigned when you pay, so no snagging a table prior. Had the gua trio, so good. So much left over, wish we could've gotten more chips, you can but another charge. Our tacos were amazing. Will be back.

The Tacos were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.! Honestly, some of the best I've ever had in my life. Order the Birria. Seriously, put the phone down and go there and order the Birria taco... We were super happy they were friendly to allow me to bring my dog as well. Definitely will be back as it was not too much money for the value. My new Tucson spot.

Spicey, well-seasoned tacos, we always do the build your own three option. They have vegetarian options and tacos that have wonderful variety and fresh flavor like pineapple and pickled cabbage and jalapenos. The horchata and fresca were also both fantastic. The outdoor seating area was relaxing and kept cool with misters. Dogs were there with owners, kids playing, quite a nice summer evening. Like many places in Tucson, there is a line even as the sun is setting but that's when the people come out in these Tucson summers!

So disappointed. I expected to wait in line at Seis Kitchen. I was warned. I did not expect to finally get to the window and be told that the kitchen was backed up so I would need to wait 5 minutes to place my order; all new orders were being placed on hold... huh? Five minutes turned to 10 and 10 turned to 15. No one revisited me to apologize for the longer wait than expected. The group of people who had placed their order right before me had received all of their food and I still did not get to place my order. I just waited. While I waited, the woman who had been taking orders was now running food. A few staff members stood around. I finally placed my order (my drinks were comped because I complained about my wait, not proactively). When I walked to the patio to find my husband at our table, I couldn't help but notice many tables were covered with empty plates that had not been bused and dirty napkins kept tables from rocking. I went to talk to the manager at the bar per the cashier's recommendation, she too seemed frustrated. I noticed numerous plates with half eaten food all over the counter that had not been brought to the kitchen (enter the many flies). When I gave my feedback to the manager, he interrupted me with a brief apology about the kitchen being backed up, not listening to suggestions or feedback that there was a problem with the work flow. He acted like it was normal for restaurants to ignore their customers while they wait. When I got my food, my order was incorrect and they were out of mild salsa (on a Saturday morning). I was done complaining... I didn't want to wait any longer! I had been warned about the wait for such amazing food... but not for such poor service. It is unfortunate, since it has such a great vibe and good food. But with unnecessary wait because staff isn't sure what to do and dirty plates all about, I doubt I will return.

  • 1/5 Maryann G. 6 months ago on Google
Very disappointed, the customer service is horrible, I placed my order online and had to wait 20 minutes. I don’t even wanna talk about my crispy avocado tacos, they didn’t even try to give me a whole avocado which is typically served with these tacos plus they forgot to give me my drink. So upset $20 dollars for this? Ridiculous!

Casual but tasty Mexican food with fresh seafood. The jumbo shrimp tacos really are jumbo shrimp. The chips are wonderful, and the smoky salsa is excellent.

Seis is a fun, fast, casual place to grab a quick bite when in Tucson. The food is good, and the outdoor seating courtyard has a chill, relaxed vibe. I recommend the Al pastor tacos and opting for the side of calabacitas!

Try the churros. They're interesting because they have more flavor to them than just sweet cinnamon/sugar. Also eat them fresh. The rest of their food is delicious too.

Delicious breakfast burritos crafted with a variety of in house assembled meats. I highly suggest their house chorizo or the steak. The hot salsa is really tasty and the overall ratio of the burrito ingredients lends to a really tasty mix. Will make sure to come back next time I am in Arizona.

I came here after it was recommended by the bartender at my hotel. I ordered the Chicken Tinga tacos with chips and medium salsa. I thought they were very good - the chicken was well-flavored and tender and the toppings were fresh and zesty. I'm not a fan of corn tortillas because they get soggy immediately, but these at least had good flavor. The chips tasted fresh and not too oily, and needed a tiny bit more salt. The salsa was good but plain - nothing to rave about. The staff was all very friendly and the storefront was orderly. All in all, I would come back if I lived in Tucson.

  • 5/5 Jim A. 3 years ago on Google
Just the aroma entices me to order the 4 types of tacos ( I'm sure theirs more ) .. The court yard is a great place to have a cold one or just enjoy the peace that the openness of it entices you to relax and listen to the chirping birds or crickets ... They have live music which is always a delight also... All the other stores offer something different as well , I find it one of my go to's to relax and also the Annex is right down the street..

First, their Avacado Tacos are to die for. I would leave five stars for those babies alone. That being said, I have been here on numberous occasions (before & during this pandemic) and each time I encounter a clean environment, friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food. Add to this the chill atmosphere of the Mercado and you have one of my favorite spots to eat in town - breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's also perfectly located near the river walk for a bike ride to snag some food.

  • 5/5 Justin H. 4 years ago on Google
My favorite patio dining experience. You'll usually encounter a breakfast and lunch rush, but you order at the window and the food comes out relatively quick. The mercado courtyard has nice pockets of shade and plenty of tables from which you can great the friendly dogs that patrons bring with them on any given visit. Food is tasty and I haven't met an item on the menu I didn't like. Definitely try the tortas which are my favorite thing on the menu

  • 5/5 Rawad E. 4 years ago on Google
Fantastic tacos that are generously stuffed with delicious ingredients! You can mix and match tacos from the different platters... You don't have to get 3 of the same kind. That is AWESOME!! Poc Chuc, El Pastor, and Fish tacos are all really good. Make sure you get the Seis sauce, it's amazing! The staff is very patient and friendly. They don't rush you even though there's usually a lineup of customers. Usually takes about 15 min before you get to the order window and then it's a short wait before the food is at your table. It's worth the wait!! Absolutely love this place ?

  • 5/5 Joe S. 4 years ago on Google
Fantastic southwestern breakfast! The breakfast tacos are jam packed with flavor. The slow-roasted pork melts in your mouth. Try it on a torta. Love the courtyard surrounded by other small businesses.

  • 5/5 Amy U. 4 years ago on Google
I got 3 different street tacos and a zucchini-crookneck side dish. The service was fantastic and quick. Several different fresh fruit-veg drinks are made daily and I enjoyed their pineapple-cucumber drink very much with my flavorful tacos. Seating is in an interior open-sky courtyard where trees provide good shade. After eating you might want to stroll through the artsy little shops that face into the same courtyard. They include contemporary, regional, & historic themes. Bathrooms are easily accessible within this same courtyard. Music adds to the ambiance. I saw mostly adults, but there were some children and they appeared quite happy with their food & surroundings. This place would work well for a casual date, a family & friends gathering, or a just a drop by. Take-out is an option. Parking lot is behind the building.

Line was long took a long time to order but once we ordered the food came out fast. Very good food. Lots of flavors outside patios was really nice. I'd be back but probably not when it is hot sice it only patio type seating.

  • 5/5 David S. 4 years ago on Google
I can see why this place gets great ratings. The food is fresh and if you like authentic Mexican, they do a very nice job of putting a fun spin on it. Who does not like fresh tortillas and tortilla chips? If I had anything negative to say it would be that the line could be a little bit faster for taking orders. It is almost as if it is too successful for the size kitchen it has. The bakery and other shops are nice in the location. It has a nice atmosphere for hanging out with friends.

  • 5/5 Daimian L. 4 years ago on Google
This place has some of the best mexican food in town. Everything they offer is amazing, their tortillas are made fresh daily and the food is always served quickly. Sometimes during peak hours there is a long line you have to wait in before ordering but it is worth it.

If you're serious about eating good food, this place is no joke! The Chicken Tinga Tacos were delightful. They were well-seasoned with a nice kick to it--not overwhelming whatsoever. The cheese and sauce added the perfect complement. Salad lover? Order the Ensalada--it was a tasty work of art, fresh and filled with a colorful variety of vegetables. The Adobo Steak Tacos were to die for--each tortilla, filled with a combination of tender, well-marinated steak and a nice blend of other fresh ingredients. The courtyard seating was spacious and perfect for enjoying a meal and conversation with friends. It was a tad pricey, however the quality, portions, and presentation were well worth it. Don't pass this one by!

I patronized Seis at the Mercado before the virus. So I am trying to support them during this time. My problem is that the three times that I have gone to pick up my food the person taking my money has no gloves on and is not wearing a mask. She does not step back from the counter when one has to insert your credit card. My wife was 2 ft away from her to check out. We ask to not have the eating utensils and napkins put in the bag each time and are request is ignored. This is wasteful and I can only assume put in the bag by the person with no mask and gloves Goodbye Seis.

A server from one of the restaurants we went to recommended this place. We heard there could be long lines, so we tried to get there around 11:30. We lucked out that there was a line, but not too long. The food was insanely good!!! I had the shrimp taco's and they were fire grilled with so much flavor. My friend had the pork tacos and he was thrilled with his meal. The wait for the food was not too long considering the amount of people there were. There is a nice outdoor courtyard to sit in. We definitely will be back!!

The food was spectacular, I just ordered the Nachos and they were amazing. They had such a great flavor and you can tell the jalapeños are fresh and pickled by them. I will be coming back for more!
