Was looking for fast breakfast and found Blake’s burgers. As I made my travel down the 40 I wanted to find a place that wasn’t a chain. I don’t know if it’s a chain or not but we certainly don’t have one in Las Vegas, NV. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich with Green chilies and they were delicious. After I had ordered, I looked across the street to find a very busy McDonald’s. Though this place isn’t on the stock exchange, it still has its character and historic feel to it. I would recommend the egg sandwich with green chilies.

The Whataburger of New Mexico! Stopped by here with a buddy on our road trip and was quite impressed, the food was great, the place was clean and well kept. It was pretty cold inside but other than that it was great! Will be back again!

the quality of food has definitely gone down in the past 5 years.... it seems like they don't even listen to me anymore I asked for on the grill grilled bread instead of toasted and limp bacon because it always comes out burnt I think they pre-make it in the morning and leave it there all day because this is what I ended up with not this time but every time. I'm so sorry for the ladies they should most definitely have a few more people back helping them.... but it's still not an excuse for the quality of output. the Tucumcari location needs air conditioning as it is miserable to eat in the facility and poor employees, be better!

Stopped here for a quick refuel and bite on our road trip. The staff were really nice and friendly. It was peak hour and they were slightly understaff, it was slight slow, however they still make sure to give good service. The seasoned fires were hot and crispy and we finally tried the burger with the green chilli, which added a nice kick. Definitely a must stopped if your here.

The staffs here must hate the owner so much that they took over half an hour to make just 4 burgers and fries. On top of that they put over 30 packets of ketchup in our bag. Don’t come here if you expect a quick turnaround. The ketchups in the picture are the leftover after we used some and gave a handful to the next table

Holy cow it was so good! Service was quick and the burger was amazing!

The food was good. The ITSA burger had a nice kick to it with the added green chili. We also tried their shakes. The peach shake wasn't as good as the one from Chick-fil-a. I placed the order online. Service was just ok. We when arrived at the restaurant, the burger was already made and under the counter!?! We had to wait for others to place their order before our shakes could be made, thus the shakes were fresh, but the burger had cooled off significantly.

Love me some green Chile cheeseburgers. Great stop and the burger was amazing

I was here for lunch in a small group. The service was extremely average and slower than expected for a lunchtime rush. The burger and onion rings were also average to say the least. Overall a very average experience.

Soda machine was kind of a mess. The soda mix on two flavors I tried was way off and I gave up. Strawberry shake was good tho! Definitely not fast food. Rather slow honestly so don't come thru looking for a quick stop and go. We try and hit local places over the chains so wasn't expecting Mcd fast. Food was good. Seasoned fries nice change. Hamburger was good, fresh toppings etc. Chicken with chilies on it was also pretty decent. Around 27, little on the high side. Not sure I'd go out of my way to come here but not entirely upset I did .

You walk in and people just stare at you, don’t offer to take your order, don’t even greet you with a hello. Straight walked out because of the lack of customer service. Never have I seen an employee on the job, tell people ready to order, the orders are taken over there, then proceeds to continue standing in the same spot as we sat there ready to give our order. He just looked around, with no care in the world, no on the job accountability. The place wasn’t even busy. I’ll never stop by this location when I’m out of town again.

One of our favorite stops when we are traveling! Excellent food, this trip they had a pumpkin pie shake on the menu and it was fantastic, it even had chunks of crust and pie. Can't wait for our next visit!

Stopped in this afternoon and the ladies there made my food fresh. Friendly service they went above and beyond my request and we really enjoyed everything. Thank you Melissa and the young lady at the register for making my accommodations. Thank you will be back for sure.

Not a bad place but not amazing. Staff were friendly, helpful, efficient. Food came quickly. I had a burger (Surprise!). It was underwhelming. Beef patty was razor thin and bun was just about a hour away from stale. I guess the pickles and lettuce were ok. I expect Lottaburger to hit all the marks with substantial burgers. The burger I got was more like something my stingy aunt would serve. I ate in store. Not dazzingly clean lobby. In this small town I suppose it's any as good as you get.

The best burger I’ve had in a very long time. I ate it after an hour it was cooked and it was still warm. That’s says it’s quality beef. The ingredients are amazing chili peppers 🌶️ was the New Mexico touch. The season fries are like no other. I’ve been a fan of whataburger but what a great burger this was. Holy smokes!! You gotta try it!!

Building is super old and in bad shape, burgers are 5 of 10, I ask for a shake and it was just milk with flavor, windows look dirty like they have a long time with out cleaning

We stopped here on our way to Amarillo. This place had good reviews and there weren't many options along I-40. The burgers were delicious - I had the New Mexico style burger, the seasoned fries were great. The service was fast and served nice and hot and the food was marked so we could easily decipher which burger went to which person. The reviews as far as food were accurate. The staff was another story. They seemed irritated that we were there, impatient that we were trying to figure out what to order for our family of seven even though we had never been there before. They were entirely unhelpful and made us feel like we were in the way. We didn't even come in close to closing. Oh well, we chalked it up to being in a different state - maybe that is just how they interact with people. I would recommend the food, but don't come in if you've already had a rough day and need a smile or friendliness.

The food is not bad, pretty good actually. I am just giving 3 stars cause I was given a cup with dirt all on the rim, and when I told the lady, witch she should have seen, she got annoyed I wanted a new cup.

The staff was very friendly, personable, but also very fast and accurate. I’m pretty particular when it comes to my burgers and they were perfect. This is still one of my most favorite locations. Even though it’s an hour away from me

We were very pleasantly surprised by the burgers here. Stopped for the night at Days Inn and walked next door for some take out. I had the New Mexican burger bacon. Green chiles were surprisingly hot which was nice. Chili cheese fries and strawberry shake are average at best. BUT the burger rocked so… a win. I would recommend this establishment. Merry Christmas

Wow! Was heading east and just wanted something to eat... what an awesome find. Don't pass up getting the green chili burger. It's spicy (for an east coast guy anyways) but definitely manageable and worth it. People are polite. Food quality is great. Good prices. Old school looking diner. Just a great place. Glad to stumble upon it.

Food was great, service was good for the staff that were there. It appeared only three were working during the busiest time of day. Dinning area needs attention, maybe even a remodel. Hats off to the three working like a dog during our visit.

Good to average food, but poor customer service. They ran out of medium cup so if you wanted a drink you were forced to up size to a large. If you wanted a different option they would give you the small shake size cup for the medium price. They also messed up our order. One paid for cheese but didn't get any, one had mustard when ordered without, one had onions when ordered without, and lastly we ordered seasoned fries and received regular fries.

The food was good... I'm confused as to why they do not have a drive-thru however. I had my dog in the vehicle with me and had to leave her in there with the air running while I came in and got my food. It would just be more convenient if you had to drive-thru, or curbside. But thanks for the yummy food!

Always love Blake's Lotaburger. This location is clean and seems to be fairly recently remodeled. Staff was friendly and food was great.

The chili fries were OK and the service was with a smile, but overall, the food is very blah and the place is pretty run down.

What a hidden gem. We’re traveling east and stopped for gas and decided to try Lotaburger. Burgers were fantastic. I had the Green chili and cheese and it was great. Chocolate shakes,Onion rings and fries were great as well. Staff was very friendly. Give it a try.
