We were looking forward to a nice sleep after driving 14 hrs, instead we are woke up at 6:30 am by loud stomping on the third floor room up above 237, after a couple of hours of listening to it I went up to find the cleaning people still cleaning right above us. We complained to Samantha at the front desk, she didn’t care basically and blamed on guests. Will never be back and will be posting our rude treatment on every media page. We stayed 10/6 to 10/7/23.

Quick access to and from I 40 in Tucumcari. Very well maintained property and rooms. Breakfast was your typical hotel choice but was very good nonetheless. Staff was very friendly. Nice comfortable beds. Also a very nice patio out back where we were able to smoke cigars and drink some beer that we brought. Only issue there was that the mosquitoes were horrible out back, even though we used Off bug spray.

Normally Holiday Inn Express hotels are nice. Not this one. Worst Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed at. One word... dirty. Stained furniture. Tub/shower had massive hard water stains, and the towels were disgusting.

Checked in tonight after driving 12 hours, unloaded the family and all our luggage only to find a bed bug crawling on one of the queen beds, also found droppings on it under the mattress cover sheet and on the top sheets. Took photos and video of the bug crawling around; immediately packed up and demanded a refund. Luckily none of us put our luggage on the beds or sat on them; totally disgusting place! The clerk tried to play it off and say it must be the cold weather bringing them inside; haha no. He offered another room; no thanks I’ve seen enough nastiness for one night! It’s not the cold weather bringing bed bugs; it’s the dirt-ball guests and the poor management who doesn’t give a damn; and the lazy staff that doesn’t properly clean / sanitize the rooms daily! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

After a 16-hour drive, all we wanted was to sleep in a clean cold room, and this hotel did not disappoint. The people in the front office were so nice the restroom was clean the room ingeneral was really good.

Zach at the front desk greeted me, took all of my info and rewards number and gave me an excellent room for the night. While Tim the general manager was able to guide me on the IHG App as well as helping me understand the point system, how to redeem them, and who to contact if I had further questions. Both Zach and Tim went above and beyond the call of duty as they answered all of my questions with out any hesitations through out my stay.

To keep the room at a comfortable temperature, the A/C had to cycle on and off all night, and when it was on, there was a strong draft right over the bed. The 2 rolls of toilet paper had about 20 squares each. Good water pressure on the shower. A decent breakfast buffet, although when I reported there were no coffee cup lids at the coffee bar, the response I got was a very unconcerned "We must be out". We got fooled by Expedia into booking through them, so we were charged way more than going directly with Holiday Inn Express.

We have stayed here multiple times. Staff is friendly and attentive. Facilities are clean and well kept. Rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast area is small but has ok options, much better than other places.

Great checkin fast and Quick. A small issue came up after checking in it was resolved very quickly. The breakfast was great the pancake machine was out of order. But my main thing is the cinnamon buns, and they were great. The Coffee is Fresh and Hot Good Coffee Jamil NYC

Great place to stay. The staff were really nice, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. What more can you ask for? I can’t say anything about the breakfast they served since I didn’t eat it. It did smell good though.

The room was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the heater seemed to be loud and not really controlled by the wall thermostat. However, the staff was very pleasant and we slept well.

This is my second stay here traveling from Florida to California and now back again. It has been the highlight of my hotel experiences by far! Love the rooms, the breakfast, the front desk staff... everything!! Clean. Comfortable. Awesome!!

1) The evening front desk person and manager were rude on the phone and in person. Not just to us. Other guests commented about their rudeness at breakfast the next day 2) We asked for the AARP discount, which they said they would use. However, when questioned at check out we were told they used a different discount- which was less of a discount then AARP 3) They charged our account for “incidentals” without telling us they would. When asked when we would receive the refund from the charge, they said, “oh, sometime next week”. 4). When asked how are stay went, and we wrote the above review, they deleted it off the reviews on their website.

I am writing to compliment Lucille on her professionalism, and help with my reservation for September 2. I am an IHG Premier Member. She recognized that and was extremely helpful. Thank you Lucille. You are a fabulous Holiday Inn employee.

Had to over pay because everything was booked in the area. They only have 2 queens bed and I was traveling by myself. Said fine, whatever at least after a 700 mile drive that day I can get a good nights rest. Nope. The room looks clean as far as I can tell but it stunk like mold and wet carpet. The AC unit in the room is super loud. Everytime it kicks on I would awake during the night. Never staying in a Holiday Inn again.

Only thing I can't speak on is the food. Everything else was great. Front desk assistance is very helpful. Appreciate the Tesla chargers on site, which was my initial reason for booking my reservation with this brand was for making these chargers available.

A very comfortable place to stay. Front desk was friendly and guided us to perfect local restaurant (Del's). Pool water was pleasantly warm, had good sized sauna, and a hot tub.

Polite staff, clean updated rooms and bathroom. Bigger than normal fridge, Good breakfast. Keurig coffee maker, nice pillows. No smoke smell as it is a smoke free hotel. No animal smells. Clean and newer bedding. Plenty of parking and big enough lot for RV's and moving trucks as there were some parked there when we stayed.
