Vedanta offers just about everything for everyone. Yoga, meditation, hiking, connecting with nature, and so much more. The location is fantastic, surrounded by hot springs, river and mountains. The hosts make you feel like home. Food is icing on the cake! I highly recommend this retreat.

I came here with little expectations. However when there’s a spiritual retreat I have experienced some people who claim things they are not . I will say this was really relaxing and super insightful. I learned how to care for my self. Kristin is quite the ray of light she is knowledgeable and has such a calming energy . Kristin knows her craft . The facilities are posh with a sense of community. We also had an opportunity to do our own exploring of the area. I would recommend this retreat to all my friends and family who are seeking some spiritual guidance . The best thing I found is that all healing starts and ends with you . Kristin facilitates you into going within your self to find that inner healing. I will be coming here as many times as I can . The retreat is “Igniting the Source in June with Kristin English”

My retreat experience at Vedanta, led by Kristin and Deepak, was nothing short of extraordinary. The care and effort they invested in making us feel welcome, nourished, and supported created an atmosphere that I will forever cherish. Here are a few highlights: Kristin's Intuitive Guidance (5/5): Kristin's intuitive understanding of our group's needs was remarkable. She skillfully tailored the retreat to meet each of our unique aspirations, offering unwavering support throughout. Her ability to curate the experience and ensure it matched our individual desires was truly exceptional. Powerful and Soothing Practices (5/5): The retreat's practices were both powerful and soothing for the mind and body. The guided meditations allowed us to explore our inner selves deeply, while breath and body movements helped us connect on a profound level. Incorporating practices like Tratak, sound healing, forest bathing, and full moon and fire ceremonies added depth and meaning to our journey. Nourishing Food and Conversations (5/5): The fresh meals provided during the retreat were not only delicious but also nourishing for both the body and soul. The attention to detail in preparing these meals (thank you Jocelyn!) fostered a sense of community and meaningful connections among participants. Engaging conversations during meal times added depth to our collective experience. Heart-Mind Focus (5/5): The emphasis on the heart-mind connection was a significant highlight of the retreat. It allowed us to delve into our emotions, thoughts, and intentions, promoting a profound sense of self-awareness and personal growth. I left the retreat with a clearer understanding of myself and a valuable toolkit of practices to continue my journey. Truly grateful to Kristin and Deepak for this exceptional retreat. Their dedication to a transformative, heart-centered experience left a lasting impact. I eagerly continue my journey with newfound practices. Highly recommend Vedanta for those seeking powerful growth and nurturing support. Thank you for an unforgettable journey.

It's everything you're looking for in a spiritual retreat. Speaking as someone who struggles with feeling like a burden everywhere I go, you'll feel right at home here. This community of people is so welcoming I didn't want to leave. I'll take the experience with me for life, and it makes me calmer just to touch the memory. I cannot commend the menu enough. Seriously. I learned a thing or two about a thing or two just by dining here. The feeling of togetherness while respecting your private space is just such a priceless concept. Also! Ask about the gift shop!! You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Vedanta, for (amongst so many other things) bringing us a little bit of your culture so we could take some home.

My husband's and my retreat was an unforgettable experience, surpassed only by the excellence of our hosts, Kristin and Deepak. Their generosity of spirit was palpable, and the teachings they imparted during our New Year's breathwork retreat have already begun to enrich our lives. The food was divine, the surroundings and accommodations were breathtaking, and we are already eager to return. We offer our highest accolades to this extraordinary team and the wonderful experience they provided.

My husband, daughter and I just returned from the Full Moon Gazing/Recalibrating the Heart Retreat. This was the most fabulous and transformative retreat from forest bathing with the Giant Sequoias to sound bathing in the yoga studio. Kristin led us on an incredible journey through nature, and into our own minds and bodies. Everything was so well planned and organized yet at the same time flexible and flowed with the group's feelings and needs and weather patterns. Kristin was so in tune with us, it was as if she knew just what would be the perfect healing and mind opening activity to do next. I especially enjoyed the brahmi oil, various yoga stretches, and multiple breathing and massage techniques she led us through. The welcome sage ceremony, cacao ceremony in the forest, candle gazing, and cauldron/fire ceremonies were absolutely divine. I had never seen a full moon rise out in such a remote area before. It was truly spectacular! Deepak's calming, wise presence at the home, where he led multiple, informative discussions was always welcoming. He was readily available and always made sure our accommodations were perfectly comfortable, including the incredible food. Jocelyn was so sweet always preparing delicious meals and greeting us with a smile each day. The entire experience was something we will treasure for a lifetime, and we have taken much of what we learned and put it into practice in our daily lives. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone interested in finding peace while releasing old patterns of thought and behavior with joyful, inspiring new ways to live life moving forward. Thank you so much for creating and orchestrating such a magical experience Kristin, Deepak, and Jocelyn!

I’m just returning from an extraordinary Yoga retreat at a small, beautiful, holistic spiritual center, nestled in the enchanting foothills of the southern Sierras in California. The teachings were deep, and the Shakti was tangible. Laughter Yoga was sprinkled liberally throughout, and the food was fabulous. Dr. Omanand Guruji is Chairman of the Paramanand University Trust in Indore, India. His ashram has an IAYT accredited Yoga therapist training program. The Vedanta Spiritual and Holistic Retreat is a rustic, luxury eco-village with some of the most beautiful Indian artwork I have ever seen. It’s a relatively unknown gem and very human to human.
