Valkyrie is a cozy bar with an incredible atmosphere tucked away in the Arts District in Downtown Tulsa. It kind of feels like a place you would find in Harry Potter. There are spirits up to the ceiling, dim lighting, cozy seating, and a great bar. The bartenders are fun and knowledgeable. We loved Alexis. There is also a bit of seating outside too. Try the flower 🌺 it was exceptional! I enjoyed stopping by this location. It has a good little patio, and the inside is not crowded because they don't allow standing room. There has to be a seat open for you to get inside, so it's never crowded. The options of drinks are endless they have a giant wall of liquors, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend stopping by and to the tasty drinks. I'll come back some time.

I've been to more than a few bars, in more than a few cities, and Valkyrie holds its own with any of them. The staff was amazing! Super friendly and super knowledgeable, and they can make a mean drink. And they have to! 50 of them in order to "graduate" (congrats Alexis!) Also home to the largest wall of liquor that I've ever seen. It was intimidating.

This place is one of the best cocktail bars ever. There is no shortage of drinks to choose from. If you can’t decide what you want, they have a list of words and you can choose three of them, and based off of that the bartender will make you a drink. There are so many unique drinks that are just specific to Valkyrie, so you have to come here to try them. I recommend that you get Mallory as your bartender as she is awesome! It is pricey but when you taste your drink it makes it all worth it.

Lauren was unbelievable. I appreciate specialty drinks catering to my likes and personality. Lauren nailed ever drink perfectly for both me (a Whiskey and Mescaline drinker) and Coryee (a Gin and wine drinker). Couldn't ask for a better atmosphere. This will be a mainstay of every trip to Tulsa.

Great bar! Love the design and ambiance. Very big- city like. Not a ton of space, but it works. Great selection of spirits, although.. they need Laphroaig. Lol. Overall a great place for a few drinks with friends.

We came to fly out of Tulsa tomorrow and thought we’d find a nice bar to hang out at tonight. After failing miserably and ending up at several dive bars that made us nervous to get out of our car we finally found the oasis in the desert. James was hilarious and the drinks were great. Super cool atmosphere for a nice intimate evening out. Thanks for an awesome experience.

My husband’s been here many times while visiting Tulsa but this was the first time I finally got to try a cocktail here! I love the atmosphere of Valkyrie. They have a massive bourbon selection and amazing cocktails. My favorite part was the “bartender’s choice” where you pick 3 or so adjectives and they craft a cocktail for you. Both mine and my husband’s were perfect! Also, absolutely insane, but we were just enjoying being there and it probably took about 10 minutes for his cocktail to get out (they were also a bit busy) which was totally fine, we are never in that much of a rush, but when our bartender came over he said “I already took this off your tab.” We said “why?!” He goes “well it took ten minutes and that’s unacceptable.” Definitely really cool. He got an awesome tip after that. 11/10 recommend this place, and wish we had one in OKC!

Full transparency when we came to Tulsa, we were not expecting to find an amazing cocktail bar. A friend who locally lives here recommended this place. Not only do the bartenders know exactly what they are doing, but the drinks are some of the best I have ever had. The fruit and the root were by far our favorites, but I would recommend anything here. Even if you ask the bartender to make something for you, it will be amazing no matter what. 10/10.

Ok. You have to go here and ask for Harris! He was amazing! He made our experience incredible and so personal. We told him flavor profiles of things we liked and he was very thoughtful in picking the perfect drink for us! We will definitely be back!

Extremely cozy spot, lots of options to choose from, the bartenders are extremely charming and well informed on your tastes if you mention the slightest thing. Best spot to wind down and enjoy treats at! Amazing music choice to top it all off.

Had an amazing night here. Our waiter was the best. We sat outside by the fire poles. A definite stop if you want a nice drink and great atmosphere.

Very lively and lots of people. For a night out this place is fun! I will admit though it’s kind of dead outside. Not a lot of bar options maybe 6-7. But Valkyrie stand out as the best of the little bunch of bars. Great service, Great drinks, friendly staff! It is about $12-15 for a cocktail but that’s relatively normal for a night out.

This place never disappoints! Delicious drinks & friendly service. We went around 6pm on a Saturday night & it wasn’t too busy yet. I loved the whimsical bees knees on their new menu 👌🏻

My wife and I have tried many of the best-rated cocktail bars on the East Coast (and several in Europe), and we both feel that Valkyrie deserves a spot right at the top. Fans of craft cocktails that take risks, layer multiple flavors, and achieve incredible balance will love this place. The bartenders, have completed incredibly intensive training with the 600+ spirits on the wall, love to share their art, and will absolutely take care of you if you tell them the flavors you’re looking for. Couple notes on my favorites: Hadrian’s Wall (pictured): bitter, smoky, adult as hell Mars Arraqs - clean, herbal, complex The Weakness - smoky, balanced Like Clockwork - a chocolate orange negroni! On Wednesday - licorice, strawberry, herbs - weird and amazing

As one who really appreciates a good cocktail, this place is fantastic! I rank it alongside The Patterson House in Nashville if you know that joint. Austin, our bar tender, was superb. He was friendly, not pretentious, attentive and helpful without lingering and interrupting, and exceptionally knowledgeable. We gave him a sense of what we liked (spirit forward, floral, smokey, etc.), and he nailed it every time. Never had the same drink twice. My wife and I have visited a few times from out of town. Never disappointed. And the bar itself? Stunning.

I love the atmosphere and the drinks at Valkyrie. It's a very elegant place and it's a ton of fun to take the 'surprise me' option and choose a few adjectives, then let the bartender decide what to give you. The service varies wildly every time I come here. Overall, I'd say expect it to be a little haphazard and anticipate a lot of waiting. Expect a lack of seats as well, although some would count that good news, since it indicates a popular spot. Overall Valkyrie is a good place if you want to feel fancy and have all night to be out.

Music choices are terrible and atmosphere has declined. The bar used to be good about 1 year ago. Since has fallen far down hill. Please find a new manager.

Valkyrie has to be the best bar in Tulsa. The staff is ridiculously knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to make your experience great. We had several drinks there. My wife and our friend both just left their drinks up to our server and he never missed the mark. When I expressed some disappointment in not ordering a certain cocktail, he brought one over for me on the house. Simply an awesome experience.

This was my second stop on my first test run of Tulsa's cocktail scene. Their signature cocktails are unique in both menu presentation and taste, and they are incredible. I've been to some of the best cocktail bars in the country and I think these guys are giving them a run for their money. Their bartenders seem to be passionate and talented. Their recommendations fit very well with what I was looking for, and their signature cocktails were inventive and interesting. For the second time in Tulsa the back bar was world class.

Beautiful bar with a romantic atmosphere. The focal point is the alcohol. Cozy seating. Knowledgeable staff. The digital menu was a bit confusing. The monthly drinks in September were beautifully displayed but I wasn't sure if they were drinks or a fancy diagram. After a zoom in.. I saw. Maybe paper media is best for such intricate drink menu.
