Had never been. Cousin suggested so I tried. A little overpriced compared to little Mom and Pop places. The chips and queso were very good (make sure to have them add chorizo; it makes the dip). The tacos I had were pretty good too (Salmon and Shrimp but know they have other names). Would return if someone asked me to go but wouldn't visit by myself.

The crossroad tacos are amazing. I got mine on flour. The queso was good too, had a nice spicy kick to it. The building has a gorgeous aesthetic. Recommend.

Excellent food & excellent service. There's so much to choose from and thats the hardest part 😅. Even though they didn't have many options for children's tummies, both of my daughters smashed their chicken tacos and left nothing but crumbs. My only wish was that the Fried Avocado on the taco was fried for a little longer, it was too mushy for my liking.

We love Torchy's! Their Airstream salad is one of a kind and magnificently executed. I would consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of salads and this is one of the few salads I've had that actually seems like thought was put into every component. From the pickled peppers to the crunch of the spicy pistachios, it is shear perfection. Add the tomatoes, corn, cotija cheese, avocado, arugula, pickled mint, and then the Chipotle dressing and it is the perfect amount of warm heat and freshness for a salad. I 100% recommend that you get the green chili queso with chips why you wait for your food. It is the best queso I have ever had in my life. Our nitpicky complaints were that a cigar shop opened up next door and I haven't been in since it had opened but it definitely smells like smoke in there now. I was wondering who was smoking a cigarette when we walked inside. It is unfortunate. And my daughter got the Crossroads taco and found four big pieces of fat in her brisket. If you don't mind fat in your meat then no big deal. But if you do, you may want to check your meat before eating the Crossroads taco. Went back and tried their street corn and oh my. What a delight! The most perfect collection of flavors! We found everything to be clean and well stocked. And, of course, we checked out the facilities before we left and I'm happy to report that they are clean and there was plenty of toilet paper.

Not a bad spot to get a bite. That is an understatement to say three least. It's hard to find well crafted food in Oklahoma. Im an out of townie. The bar was top knock and if you want to know the secret. Give this a like.... order ur food at the bar to beat the line 😅🤭

Really good! The shrimp and fried avocado tacos were my favorites. The salmon taco and chips were overly salted. Almost couldn’t eat the salmon taco. I also really enjoyed my house frozen margarita and the queso. Did not love the brash atmosphere.

Great food but they forgot about my nookies. Got my nookies. Love these things. They taste like heaven just like my grandma used to make.

What a great experience. The service was excellent. The food was super tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The person who took my order was accommodating and helped me choose vegetarian options. My special order was no problem. I found out that extra chips were free. The dessert was melt in your mouth deliciousness. Cookies are way tasty.

I've been hearing about this place for awhile... Came in and it was pretty disappointing. Got the grande burrito with all the meat in one spot at the very end of the burrito. Gross. Queso was better than everything they had there. Way too pricey for what you get

We love Torchy’s Tacos. We first had Torchy’s in Dallas and anytime we can find one in a new city, we have to go. The food is excellent. The staff is great and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is very clean and open and the menu is easy to read. They have a lot of unique tacos to choose from. There is also a kids menu and plenty of delicious “fun drinks” as my kids call it. When we say “fun drinks” we are not talking about coke products but more of the juice/tea dispensers that they have. There was a mango one that was really delicious. I also want to note that the bathrooms were really clean and there was easy parking.

Nice place, nice staff. Little pricey for the amount of food you get tho... Food was out in a timely manner, but was very disappointed with the Street Corn, had a weird after taste and some was burned. Added it to my salad and it was good. The Salad was tasty but barley had any of its own corn in it, only had two smallish slices of avocado (very disappointing!) and didn’t taste any mint... Chips were great!

Torchys is my favorite place for tacos and queso. I’ve been coming here for a long time and come often. I don’t think I’ll be coming anymore though. The smell of cigar and cigarettes is so overwhelming in the restaurant now that it totally ruins the food and overall dining experience. It’s as if you’re eating at a bar. I know it’s the cigar lounge next door. I was told “they are doing something about it”. But they aren’t and it’s been quite some time now and it’s only getting worse. It’s unfortunate. But it wreaks.

I told my server that I wanted two tacos, surprise me. She gave me one Democrat and one Republican, they were both absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

This is an overpriced taco place. The tacos were mediocre at best. Have tried several different tacos an I remained unimpressed.

10/10 would recommend! This place has a really cool vibe and decor. Fast casual so you order at the counter and the food is brought to you. The tacos seems pricey at first at $5 to $6 per but they’re big and the protein they give you in each taco is a big serving so it’s definitely worth the price. My husband taco had a whole sausage in it. We also had chips and queso which was really good! We didn’t get any drinks but they looked great, and the price was good too. They’re also a really cool bar inside. I recommend checking to this place out!

If you do not enjoy eating delicious tacos in a bright, fun atmosphere, then Torchy’s is definitely not for you. The green chile queso and chips start you off right, especially eaten under chandelier or “DAMN GOOD” overhead in literal bright lights. For tacos, I chose the Republican and Trailer Park Hillbilly style (see photos). Warning: Prepare several napkins before diving in. Unless you are some kind of magical creature who doesn’t make a mess when devouring perfection.

We love the queso. The flavor hits every time. Tacos are great as well. I'm into the trashy trailer park while she enjoys a fancy shrimp concoction. Even though we live 30ish minutes away, we try and make this a weekly "Taco Tuesday Date". (Lately the cigar shop next door has been flavoring the air. It can be quite offensive to the nose and lungs. Hoping management and leasing agent can fix that pronto!)

Good was pretty good and affordable. I asked for jalapeños and did not get them... but I'll give them another try. By the time they brought them, I was finished eating. Yes I paid extra for them.

The servers were very friendly! However, I will note that I was disappointed with the amount of food per serving. For what you pay for, you get very little. Our table was also very off balance -which it was last time I went - and the music was just slightly too loud for normal conversation. All that to say, the food was absolutely delicious! Not a bad place to go eat.

Our first visit...not a huge selection, but what we had was great. We did a ranch hand breakfast taco, fried chicken and chicken fajita taco. Great favor in all, the smoke brisket is outstanding. The sauces are on the hot side but are served separately so you adjust to your liking.

I keep reviewing this location in an effort to get management's attention so this time I'm including pictures. And I'll continue this until something is done. But this location is absolutely disgusting. Here's just 2 pictures of one corner of the bar. A restaurant should have a cleaning crew coming in nightly to clean. I confirmed with an employee that this does not happen.

Ambiance: I went on a Saturday night, and it was a really light crowd. There was tons of space and lots of seating. A couple of tvs around the bar and a decent amount of decor. Service: We sat at the bar, and even though there was only one person attending the bar, she was very attentive and kind. She helped us choose great tacos and made some tasty drinks. Food came out fast and fresh. Food: My two tacos and the queso were delicious. The trailer park trashy was my favorite, just the right amount of all the toppings. I'm typically a sauce person, so I really liked the different types of sauces for the different tacos, and not one thing I tried tasted off or nasty.

Trendy restaurant, slow service, no firearms allowed. The building is nice, busy parking in the rear, everything looked pretty clean and kept up. Went there for the third time today and ordered chips and queso and two tacos (republican and trailer park-trashy). Tacos are a bit steep as expected for the location. We got our drinks and found a seat. It was a late lunch on a Friday so it was pretty empty other than a handful of other tables. The wait was exceptionally long before we received just our chips and queso. Then quite a while still before I received my two tacos. Even my incredibly patient wife made a couple comments on the wait. Definitely not somewhere to go if you are short on time. Food was decent. Queso seemed more like a warm salsa than a cheese queso dip but it wasn't bad, and the tacos had plenty of flavor going on. Staff was pleasant. I think there are too many other places with better food and faster service to make me want to come back here. Also, ownership should consider perhaps changing to a sign just prohibiting open carry if they don't like guns visible. This is Oklahoma and a lot of people carry concealed. It has caused me to veto this choice on multiple occasions when my wife suggested it. Also, the sign doesn't stop anyone from carrying anyway (or so I've been told). I thought perhaps this was a corporate decision, however I noticed at another location they did not have any such sign posted.

I ordered the fried avocado taco. It had more beans on it than anything. Two slices of fried avocado was all. It also had cheese and tomatoes on it. I had them hold the lettuce. My husband had a beef burrito. He got the guacamole on the side since he doesn't like it and I do. The guacamole was too salty. My husband liked the burrito. All in all it was good. Next time I will not get the avocado taco.

Why are we paying this much for one taco? Why? I can go to a TRUE authentic taco stand, have better quality tacos, and I get my moneys worth. TF! The wait time was 45 minutes and it wasn’t even busy. This only gets one star for the nachos and queso and because they have great drinks. Other than that they can take all the freeze dried tasting food a kick rocks.

The girl taking your order really doesnt seem to care while you place your order, then your hit with a prompt to tip before even receiving any of your food. Which took 30 minutes and me reminding them twice just for my 3 tacos. I sat thete and watched 3 family's get served before me and when i say something im treated like the a hole? Mediocre at best and Totally unimpressed. Will not be coming back to this torchies or will any of my friends.

Depends on where the staff are when you walk in They were a little more on top of it tonight Enjoyed my 'tipsy chick' Service is getting a little bit slow. You really need more consistency with service So I ordered online, drove 1.5 miles and still waited at least 15 minutes! What's up with service? Have to admit the chili wagon is delicious

This was my second time going to Torchy’s and definitely my last. Very nice atmosphere. The place seems clean and up-to-date as far as decor. However, I believe, today, I experienced the worst customer service that I ever have. After ordering our food and grabbing our seats, my sister and I went to the bar to grab a drink. The barmaid was on her phone for a little while, which my sister and I thought nothing of it. Once she got off of her phone, she walked right past my sister and I then proceeded to help someone that had already been sitting at the bar and already had a drink. At this point, my sister and I looked at each other and was very confused. Something was off and we could tell. To make this long story short, I overheard her talking about me to the other barmaid and I asked to speak to the manager. She ignored me. I asked again, she turned around and was a few octaves shy of yelling when she pointed towards the back and said, “The manager is back there!”. I replied, “So you aren’t going to go and get the manger?”. She start yelling and I just walked away to get the manager. The manager was very nice. But I realized, she is not going to get in trouble or anything for her bad behavior because why would she even feel comfortable enough to speak to customers like that? That is why I will not be returning. Why have someone with that horrible attitude serving your customers? Speaks volumes. Despite the rude barmaid, my sisters and I still enjoyed each other there and the food was decent. Ciao!

    Great food and drinks!

  • 4/5 David Y. 3 years ago on Google
The food tastes great but the 2 star rating is because of regular mismanagement of the our work group's larger order for roughly 8-10 people. An order or two is USUALLY missing, not sometimes. Also, the burritos or tacos will all be wrapped in tin foil with some having labels and some not having labels. Every unlabeled item needs to be opened to confirm what it is, which is inconvenient and means more fingers touching other people's food. I'd recommend this place for dine in and for small pick up orders. Not for large orders. **** Changing prior 2 star rating to 4. Attempted another larger order a week after this review and they put every person's order into a separate doggy bag which meant we picked up a flawless order. Hats off to the staff that upped their game in response to the review. If the trend keeps up, I'll go 5 stars.

Good food and very nice place! I went with my 4 daughters and staff was very friendly and helpful from getting a highchair and getting our drinks, it's my first time there and it seems like drinks are self serve so I really appreciated the help

This place is super good! It does a great job of mimicking street tacos. There is a ton of variety. Super hip. There is a full bar. The guacamole is too spicy for my liking but the Spanish rice is just right. There is a *secret* menu for an even larger selection. I can usually eat two full tacos here but opt for three so I can take one home. I ordered chicken, pork, and beef with the waitresses choice on corn or flour tortilla.

  • 3/5 Bernel S. 3 years ago on Google
To go order. Disappointed with the small amount if ingredients on my pork green chili taco. Most of flavor came from corn tortillas. Price vs quality did not live to their reputation. Wife's shrimp taco was better and she enjoyed it.

  • 5/5 Cody D. 3 years ago on Google
I've had a few breakfast and dinner tacos and I will say that I love that there is so much variety, yet there is consistency in how things are made. This place is EXCELLENT when it comes to blending flavors and textures. I am a customer for life. Love the building but it fits "Modern/future Brookside" more than it gives an identity to Torchy's but w/e. The food is the most important and they do food WELL.

Pretty good. I like the queso more than the tacos. The decor is odd. Gold stripper poles, random wooden sections, black panels, white ceiling, red seats. I am not sure what they were going for.

They are good tacos but at $5 dollars they are not great tacos. For two tacos, chips and salsa, and water I paid $15. I have been a few times now and always leave feeling it wasn't worth the price.
