Like so many others, I wish that I could rate this facility 0 stars. I presented to the Emergency room this morning as a transfer. The facility was dirty and the nurses were rude to say the least. There has been inaccurate recorded information placed in my medical records that need to be revised or removed ASAP! Although I left the medical center, there were no papers signed by me in regards to leaving “AMA,” but that is also on the doctor’s notes. The doctor did not do HALF of the things he wrote in his notes, I.e. no physical exam, did not tell me a time that the technician would be in to see me, nor did he or any nurse counsel me on leaving. When I asked the nurse how long I would have to wait she said, “Well you just got here and the ultrasound technician couldn’t leave her home until you arrived.” She said, “ the tech is on the way and it should be 45 minutes from the time you arrived.” She called the triage nurse to check my check-in time. Once she received that information she told me, “well it’ll be any minute now.” I told her I had been waiting over an hour at this point and I drove from Muskogee. She said, “you drove here?” I informed her of my pain and tiredness. She then said, “well just go take a nap and they’ll wake you up!” The physician only came in once. The nurses were so busy laughing and on their phones, they never came to my room to assess my level of pain. The patient next door was yelling some disturbing allegations and I never heard the nurses get up to console that patient either. I asked for my transfer paperwork, and began to walk out. The other nurse began shouting, “well should I tell her not to come?” I continued to walk to the exit. She then said, “well I guess I should since you’re being so rude!!!” There is now mysteriously an appointment scheduled at the time that I left the facility(seems so convenient). I do not recommend this facility for any level of care, especially emergent care. I would like someone from Patient Advocacy to contact me immediately regarding my experience. These issues need to be resolved before escalation ensues.

Though the facility is outdated and not the most comfortable, the attentive and kind staff makes up for it tenfold. The bedside manner of the doctors, nurses, and other staff is excellent. They go above and beyond to care for their patients. Any issues or discomforts I had were immediately resolved. I was seen quickly in the ER and transferred to a room when admitted in a timely manner as well.

Came to ER with son. Who just had lab work done Friday and was told he was extremely acidic and his liver enzymes were DOUBLE along with cardiac levels being very high. The ER here refused to check his labs again. They refused to give even a bag of fluid since he's so dehydrated. They said " just eat something " Mind you my son's eyes are now yellow. The doctor saw that. His blood pressure at 19 is 153/80. He's never had high BP. This place is a joke. The doctor if you can call him that is a quack who needs to go back to school. If something happens that was preventable I will be suing. Shame on OSU. Yall don't give AF about anyone. Who sees a 19 year old with a history of cancer and yellow eyes and says " nope no labs and no fluids "

My father-in-law was transferred here and was given minimal care. He was hardly checked on and he is type one diabetic. They took his sugar and it was at 400 and we had to find a nurse and ask them to give him his insulin. He had pulled out his pick line and catheter during the night and they didn't even notice for a long time. They even took his lunch to the wrong room and left it sitting there for an hour then brought the same cold lunch to him. We are transferring him to another facility and we have only been here for for not even 4 days. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

I was referred to OSU Wound Clinic in the OSU Hospital for wounds on the foot and leg. If you have mobility issues and someone else, not OSU personnel, can not get you to your destination, then don't bother coming to this facility. They don't assist the mobility disabled and refuse to treat them.

Do not give birth at this hospital. Honesty the only good thing about my experience was the food. They've got great food. After I gave birth at 6:30am, no one helped me change my pads, brought me Advil, water, or checked on me until 11:30pm. Which still wasn't even my nurse and actually made rude comments about me asking if I even had a nurse bc no one knew who my nurse was or wanted to help me. .... just don't

Update: Just had two derogatory remarks added to my credit even though i have 3 claims on my insurance from this visit and they are mostly paid. So they billed me several times and apparently didn't file on my insurance properly or fraudulently double billed me for God knows what. I am a disabled veteran and also have private insurance through my employer. I have over $3k in claims on my insurance, most of which was paid, and they put first a $1300 something charge then another $600 something. So that is another $2k for doing absolutely NOTHING. They should be sued, but I don't have money for an attorney. I mean... I genuinely think they teach ER doctor's in school how to misdiagnose patients and gaslight them. This may be TMI but it can also help someone so oh well... I came in because I've been having pain and bleeding from my backside. On this particular day there was more blood than normal (actually no bleeding is normal but I digress) so I went into the ER. It turned out I was having bleeding in between my cycle that was also abnormal but I told the doctor multiple times that the reason for my visit and me freaking out and thinking it was coming from "elsewhere" was because of the immense pain that was NOT under any circumstances menstrual. He proceeded to do a pelvic exam and run a pregnancy/sti panel on me even though I am married and on the pill. Thankfully I am a veteran and was able to schedule an appointment with a VA doctor because I ACTUALLY had skin tags "there" very likely from Crohn's disease and am being scheduled for the colonoscopy that I desperately need. The doctor was terrible and told me I was likely not wiping properly even though I have been wiping myself for over 30 years. I would say they are worthy of 0 stars but the nursing staff was pretty great and surprisingly I was in and out much faster than I thought I would be. So kudos to the rest of the staff at OSU med center for the star they earned.

My wife had surgery here and the experience was consistently positive. The pre-operative nursing team was friendly, gave explanations, and were thorough. The anesthesiologist and surgeon were all very engaged, answered questions, and took their time reviewing details. The security officers were friendly and professional as well.

Everyone I spoke to was rude aside from the phone operator. I understand this job can be stressful but it you can't be a little kind, you need to pick a different career path. None of y'all should work in the medical field.

My job sent me for a covid test. Put a company card on the account, yet I keep getting a bill. To make matters worse, I didn't receive any service. Nor did I take the test. Why am I getting emails that I owe 400+ dollars? Every time I call billing I'm on hold or it hangs up after waiting over 30 minutes. Scammers! Here is a perfect example of not getting through to anyone.

Last night (day after Christmas) my family and I said goodbye to my father, a patient at this facility. He had been hospitalized and in long term care since thanksgiving. The timing of his admittance to hospitalization to his eventual passing was so hard on the family. He missed the holidays. Let me tell you how comforting the nurses, techs, nurse practitioners, and janitorial staff were to us. It’s overwhelming to work full time, support family, and be there enough for your family member in need. When we couldn’t be there, we were confident in and thankful for the care we knew he was receiving. A thousand thank you to you folks. Thank you for caring for my dad, and for sacrificing YOUR holiday for his care. You mean the world to a lot of us.

Had to give one star to rate. Deserves a -10. I will NEVER set foot in this hospital again. I was treated like dirt the second i came in on the gurney from the ambulance. Humiliated, left exposed on the table with my pants down, Unable to move or walk or pull my pants up. You know who you are jennifer!! Nurse was rude, unkind, mean even. Horrible bedside manner. Slapped my hand down to the bed because dr asked me a question and as i was explaining my hands were gesturing. Slapped my arm down, told me to stop moving. Hateful looks the whole time. Turn back on me every time i spoke and walked out on me. Staff stand out in hall and loudly dissing patients or gossiping about friends. I could hear everything they said about me. And i let them know that. Just looked at me hateful and said "what" then walked out. Saying "i" wasnt going to keep her here past her shift, and that i wasnt even trying. I couldnt stand or walk. She half *$# placed a bed pan under me wrong, wouldn't help me with my pants and when i said it wasn't under me all the way and i was going to wet the bed she says oh well, it happens!! And it did get on the bed and i sat in it for 4+ hours. No water given. Shivering on gurney on top of plastic pull mat til 1:30 am. I am filing a complaint. Going to kick me out even though pain still not managed and unable to walk until i told dr that what was the plan ?when i cant get into car or out of car at home and cant get into house as i came in on ambulance because cant walk, when realized she would be liable if i fell she said could suddenly keep me but i finally just left in excruciating pain regardless of my condition because i didn't want to suffer any more abuse. And i was alone back there. When asked them for my husband to come help me for my protection was hatefully told "NO! Walked out on again. Update!! Landed in St Francis next day and had emergency spine surgery because there was a serious issue!! They could have seriously caused more damage.

OSU USED to be a good hospital I spent a lot of time recovering there in 2009 and 2012 under Dr. Dieners care and they literally saved my life surgeries, er, wound, blood transfusion the whole nine yards. Then in 2020 of course during COVID (NO EXCUSE) when I got sick with what I now know is multiple autoimmune disorders and still untreated thanks to time lost and still testing because of my Dr there didn't believe me or bother test me for. This places only shining star for me so far is my pain management Dr. Khattab he's stuck by me and help me through this and the only reason they get 2 stars.

I wouldn't advise having a baby here. Worst place ever. Its like they forced my wife to fet a C-section. The nurses except 2 were rude . The doctors had a bunch of men students that lurked around them like satellites everywhere they went. The list goes on.

I really don’t like that they don’t get patient consent to have a male student in the room. Today was the last straw. I assumed the boy who entered with the female doctor was a male doctor but turns out he was just a medical student. I even heard him ask her if she thinks I’d be okay with him being in the room. She said, “oh yeah, it’s fine”. It’s definitely not fine. I do not consent due to religious beliefs. I can’t believe they can get away with that. They did this exact thing to me of having male residents and students in my room during labor even though I kept saying I didn’t want them in there. Even the nurses said a male resident did an unnecessary cervical check on me simply because he wanted more practice.

Just got home after a 16 day stay for triple bypass surgery and aortic valve replacement. The staff on the 8th floor are WONDERFUL. Especially Iffy and Don as attendants and Laci, the RN. And to say that Dr Carabello is an excellent surgeon is an understatement. Special thanks to Dr Potter and Dr Waugh. Great people!!

I went to an urgent care facility with severe side pain/UTI with a misdiagnosis (actually two). One week later, the pain persisted so much that I came here. They did a CT scan that Dr. Michael said revealed an obvious kidney stone that he showed me a video of. He said that the techs did not catch it and that and it was quite common with kidney stones. He showed me a video of my CT that showed a big gold fleck... I am three weeks into my first kidney stone that I have not passed. I have called asking for help due to the ongoing concern but have been met with what you expect... I am not saying people who work here are rude, but I am insured and just looking for answers...

I went in the ER for back pain. I was told that my results were fine just muscle spasms. As i was leaving i forgot to get a doctors note for my job. I walked to the front desk to ask about one and she kindly asked me to wait..As i waited i eventually walked back and saw the doctors, that assisted me earlier. I was LIED to that everything fine. I was completely humiliated by Dr. Joshua Baker...i left..openly laugh and to joke about results in my face as if i did not matter. We was in the hall, and then we walked into another room where I saw him hysterically laughing. Completely unprofessional and insensitive! He needs to be fired. If had left I would have never known. I would NOT recommend to anyone who wants to know what's going on with their bodies to come to this facility.

If you go to this hospital be prepared to hear the doctors laughing about your Pacific ailment outside the door in hallway right before he comes in the door you could be suffering from a unknown cause of some kind and instead of being compassionate about your situation they laugh and say "a little dab will do it" and blame your measures of trying to fix the problem as the problem so until doctors stop wanting an extubuant amount of money for their non-sensual help the world is going to continue to suffer from information freeloaders they act like they know everything and don't want to listen to anything because they must forgotten that to be a doctor you have to rely on information some coming from your books and the most information coming from the patient but instead the doctors have turned it around and thank the information coming from the books is the most important and the patient is the irrelevant matter where do they know without the patient they wouldn't be there so quit expecting a million dollars a year what all you do is trade information but if you want something that's actually takes effort time energy like building a house you doctors only want to pay $20 an hour so good luck when you try to cross the pearly Gates and say look what we've done what you've done is totally leveled society to favor the ones who trade information on health but when you get to heaven information health love and care is all traded freely so go ahead and grab on to that world least standard of trade all you want buddy I know in heaven health happiness and prosperity so go ahead and act like you got everything when you really don't

If you care about your loved ones then by no means should you take them to this hospital. Very disorganized and seem to be unable to read the reports from previous Doctors on the prior day. Completely felt like we were living out Ground Hogs day. If I were conscious would never allow another medical facility to transfer myself or any one I cared about to this facility.

they sent one of my people home after 2 days there in a ambulance on a gurney at 11:30 at night AND THEY KNEW HE HAD COVID at 72 years of age, he went there because he couldn't breath they knocked and dropped him off on our front porch and he had to have an ambulance that next morning that took him to st Francis. OSU HOSPITAL is unprofessional and unreliable, none of my people will go there again !

I’ve just moved to Oklahoma and I’ve been to both at Francis and OSU medical and why I say OSU is a great hospital I mean great not just friendly and sweet but they listen to their patients and do there absolute bets to get them feeling better !! Though they’re probably not as esthetically pleasing as ST Francis their care is beyond and speaks for itself !!! Thank you so much OSU and God bless you all !! Good luck to all the great residents and students don’t just learn the flow of patient Care medically but also take heed to the hospitality and bedside manner portion ! You have some great examples to learn from I pray each of you grow to be great kind loving Doctors !!

They were absolutely amazing. My primary care doctor and his internist were both there the entire stay of May 4th to May 16th. I had emergency open heart surgery and was taken here by ambulance from Ascension St. John's Owasso. My PCP is with OSU Internal Medicine. The Rehab Center in Broken Arrow was also terrific and I was there 11 days. But the ER docs, my cardiologist Dr. Yamane, and my Int. Med. doctors Dr. Damon Baker and Dr. Tyler Cobbs were especially amazing. So were my ICU nurses and my 8th floor nurses.

I was very nervous about having my upper gi and colonoscopy. The staff was warm and reassuring. The doctor was kind and answered all of my questions. I would very much recommend going. One of the best hospital experiences I’ve ever had.

Wife is here with an abcessed appendix. Been here since 2:00 a.m. finally put in a room at 5:00 a.m. tested negative for covid but treating her for covid. What the hell? Quarter till 2:00 p.m. take her downstairs to see if the abcess needs to be drained? 4:10 a.m. and no word from anyone about my wife. Really worried about her and praying to God that she survives whatever the doctor is doing for her. Had no choice in choosing this hospital but if you have a choice I strongly suggest you pick a different hospital.

I have mixed feelings. My nurses, especially the RN’s and Kimberly was the best!!! My issue was that my kidney stone had passed and they missed it and despite me asking a million times if they would check it to make sure it was still there before enduring getting a stent to which the internal medicine doctors kept saying I needed but urologist was just like “meh”, your choice. After being talked into it by the “team”, turns out I had already passed it apparently and I went through the procedure for nothing and now I’m in even more pain from them probing trying to find a stone I had already passed but didn’t know despite the CNA’s checking and straining but they didn’t really know what they were looking for and told me that. The OR and recovery was awful and the nurses paid no attention to me and just laughed and talked amongst themselves like I wasn’t there. My fiancé got mad at the fact that we asked lots to check first before putting me through that as my anxiety disorder was acting up also and they said they would but didn’t. They also had students in without asking me first and also checked off that they had done things that they hadn’t done. My last hydrocodone was stolen as well and never given to me and they assured me I would get a muscle relaxer before surgery cause I tend to have bladder spasms and that wasn’t given meither. So 8th floor nurses, especially Kimberly and all the RN’s are great! OR is horrible. CNA need more training and a watchful eye.

My mom was sent here and she had alot of health issues, all the staff were wonderful taking care of her. And everyone was friendly and kept me and my sister informed of everything they were doing. I would highly recommend this hospital if needing any care. We would not hesitate to send our mom here if it is needed again. Our mom was on the 7th floor

I've been here for a few medical procedures and surgeries. From ER, Registration, Pre Op and Surgery. You all are such warm and caring people. You listen to your patients and stay on top of any issues that come up. My family and I won't go to any other hospital. OSU is the best. Thank you for taking such good care of me while in your care. I highly recommend OSU.

I am not impressed with this facility or its Drs. Last summer I went in for a yearly colonoscopy. After the procedure I was released to go home within 30 mins of leaving the hospital I was in an ambulance on my way back with profuse bleeding. Upon arriving in the ER the dr said I wouldn’t have made it much longer I almost bled out. The original dr did the same procedure again and said he should have added more stitching and should have watched it better the first time. I guess he had a Tee time and needed to leave. Suppose to have a follow up again to make sure everything went as planned in the procedure but I don’t think I will give them another chance to kill me.
