I was honored to officiate a wedding on the property, what a beautiful setting and stunning rose garden as well. We didn't go inside this time, but years ago my brother had his wedding inside and the property is fabulously maintained. Nice place for a wedding or a holiday event, plenty of space for everyone.

My daughter's wedding was held here so it will always be special to our family. There's a beautiful rose garden in back and the grounds are well maintained and lovely. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because of the lack of access for disabled people due to the many stairs. Besides that it is a beautiful and well cared for historic site. I must add that our event here was several years ago and they may have updated to allow for disabled access.

I volunteer here. Awesome, knowledgeable people here to help you with what ever your questions are. The House is excellent as well. The grounds are extremely well kept. It's an honor to be able to work here!

This beautiful historic home, located in Tumwater near the old Olympia brewery, was built in 1904 for the founder of the original brewery and his wife. Among other uses, it currently serves as the monthly venue for a wonderful series of history talks presented by the Olympia-Tumwater Foundation.

Fascinating! Beautiful home featuring loads of history about Tumwater and the contributions of the Schmidt family. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Needed more time to take it all in... Planning for a return trip for sure.

Bob Crims private group tours are wonderful, with 60 years working on site, there's potential for a new story every visit. The building is beautiful and full of local history.

Beautiful yard and grounds. Private property so can only go in the summer when it's open.

I went to see the rose garden and now I can't wait to come back and see it in bloom.
