The food was fine. This is not authentic Mexican cuisine. So what the food tasted like didn't make up for the absolutely disgusting amount of trickery that added up for $35 per person for a drink and a plate of food. $15 for chicken enchiladas I ordered 1 regular raspberry margarita to start. The margarita came with sour candy and a lime. The candy was good, but the drink was so strong that I barely touched it. Come to find at the end of our service that this was a "double" and was charged an additional $2.50 to the $7 drink. Nope. Didn't order that. I told our server that we didn't order a double as the same thing happened to my friend. Also come to find they charged FOUR dollars for a side of coleslaw and THREE dollars for sour cream. I only found this out after looking at the tab as the server did not confirm the additional charges just to make sure I was okay that. I told her "Hey I know this is not your fault, but we did not order a double and as you can see we barely touched the drinks. And these prices for sour cream and coleslaw are absolutely ridiculous, and we barely touched the insane amount of sour cream given". The server apologized and actually agreed that the prices were insane for the sour cream and coleslaw. So I told her to inform her guests of the additional charges next time. She said she would remove them. Well she didn't. Not her fault. The manager, some dude, only took 25% off of the double shot drink, the coleslaw and the sour cream. Are you kidding me? I am never coming back here. My friend and I were wondering why it was lunch time and there were virtually no people here. It's because of your petty charges and poor service. If you want returning customers and great tips for your food, then stop nickel and diming us. My ticket should have been $21 for the drink and dish. It was $35 and then reduced to $30. I will not recommend this place for three reasons: 1. Margarita was made and charged as a double without permission 2. Ridiculously overpriced dips and small sides. 3. Petty ticket discounts unproportional to offense of over charges.

My daughter and I completely enjoyed our lunch today. We shared their Patrona Nachos, they were absolutely delicious! I ordered the Enchiladas Sonora and my daughter ordered the Expresso Burrito off the lunch menu. So much food, wonderful for leftovers. Service was very friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with vibrant colors. We will definitely be back!y new favorite place.

This place is all about atmosphere! The patio was why we went and it was worth going. The stuffed jalapeños appetizer was the best of the night. The food was on but this place is really about the atmosphere. Check out our!!

Although we came in on a Saturday night the food was literally so delicious and had a short wait time despite our table of 7. The restaurant is definitely a vibe and caters to bigger groups and has a loud atmosphere. Loved everything about it and will definitely be coming back

La Patrona is a good place for large groups and loud music. Definitely more on the party side than a quiet, intimate dinner. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. The entrees are large; easily shareable. Outdoor seating when the season permits.

Overall great experience. I really enjoy the 5 various margaritas for $36. The quesabirra tacos were on point, good flavor and filling portions. Server was great, as well as attentive. The food was seasoned well and I liked the house made salsa. I really enjoyed the decorations in the restaurant. Will definitely come back and enjoy more margaritas. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the appetizer, but I think it's just because it's not a food preference for myself. Still would come back just to try different items on the menu.

Fantastic food, good ambiance, enjoyed the Mexican beers at the bar (Lorena knows her drinks). Ate here daily for 10 days straight. Their Jefe is a SUMPTUOUS meal if you've got an appetite. The carne de res, cancun, carnitas asada and the fajitas are finger-licking good! And affordable too! Keep it up! Shout out to Karina who's very pleasant and polite.

Let me tell you, the decor of this restaurant is amazing. Full of Dias Los Muertos metal sculptures, all brought up from Mexico. I had a healthy version of the taco salad, and it was delicious! The meat had great flavor and I didn't leave a speck, short of licking the bowl.

Great spot with fun decor; especially the bar. We didn't sit outside but it looked very nice as well. Caritas, ceviche & drinks were all very good! Paella sadly was disappointing but we'll definitely go here again.

Oh my word! Mama Coco did not disappoint. It was delicious and so flavor filled. My husband got the molcajete. It has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. This is now our new favorite Mexican food stop.

Had a good time. Chicken flautes were really good. The chips and salsa were kept full and delicious. I tried the birricha (sp) ramen. Lots of meat and a good portion but I found it lacking in flavor and spice. Never had it before so I don't know what it is supposed to taste like. I wanted to add Asian fish sauce. The bartender made a great peach tea. Overall, a great experience.

We love this spot because it makes you feel right at home. They have a great variety for Happy Hour and the margarita flight is a great price and just the flare to light up your day! The jalapeno popper appetizers, oh they melt right in your mouth and honestly makes me want to get a second order! I love the taco salad too. I try something new everytime and never disappoints! Another drink favorite is the paloma, not too sweet, just right!

The tortillas were fantastic, and I really like how they cooked the onions and jalapeno on my lunch of soda steak. The rice is also really good and the beans are pretty good although they taste a little light which is just a preference thing. The salsa they give you with the chips is excellent, not spicy, but still pretty dang flavorful

Love this place! First of all... the salsa is the best I've had. As far as meals....I've tried different things here (Arroz con Pollo, expresso burrito, enchiladas, nachos, and taco salad to name a few), and they have all been delicious. My husband usually orders Carne Asada at all Mexican Restaurants, but decided to try the El Jefe and is now OBSESSED!! He swears it's the best flavored steak around, and he's pretty picky about his steaks. At first he had to send it back because they overcooked it (he likes it seared, but rare), but they were so accommodating and made sure it was spot on after that. We go there quite a bit and every time we go in, they make the extra effort to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. On that note, I also can't say enough about the staff. They are all so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel like you're more than just a customer. Basically, just an all around fabulous place for friendly service and amazingly delicious Mexican cuisine!! 😋

Food was delicious, great selection of beer. The perfect combo that most eateries can't master... hot food and cold beer. La Patrona hits the perfect balance. Service was great. Our waitress, Alejandra, was superb! Will be visiting again and again!!!

We called in a quick lunch order and it was ready in 10-15 minutes. It was delicious and the take out was packed with a lot of care. We had steak Street tacos with rice and beans. It was excellent! Excellent customer service and we will be back again!!!

We had a birthday party planned for my mother in law at a different restaurant and that other restaurant dropped the ball by losing our menu and “forgetting” we had a reservation for 30 people. We contacted La Patrona just a couple days prior to the party and they were AMAZING! We had an in person meeting with Lorena within one day, she showed us the menu, helped us to select the food choices and showed us the party space adjacent to the bar. It even had a screen we could use for a slide show! She had a quote for the services within the hour and it was very affordable. Lorena took care of everything, booked us an amazing server and our own busser. The party went perfectly… the food, location and service were all fantastic. They saved us and gave my mother in law an amazing party. Thank you so much to Lorena and La Patrona. We will come back again and again for their excellent food and service.

We were there for 1 hour. We did not get service for 45 minutes plus. When we mentioned that, the server got very confrontational! He asked us to calm down…are you kidding me…just ask us how we are doing in a 40 minute span. We had not ordered food yet only had 1 drink that was ordered from the bar..smh!!! So me and my fellow patrons went there the day after being told by the owner to go back and take the review down and the tab was on him. None of that happened! We ended up spending $300….blows my mind…why would anybody go back and spend good money. (It doesn’t grow on trees guys…very hard earned)… and do that and get charged…we feel EXTREMELY VIOLATED!! Don’t come to this establishment…they don’t care about you! I don’t get it!!!!!

The food is very good! My personal favorite is the Nachos Patrona. For dine in, it is priced appropriately. The waitstaff are very prompt, and friendly. The theme for the restaurant is Day of the Dead, which is a nice change from the usual dine in experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Mexican food. I'm looking forward to going again soon! Thanks for the overall great experience! Keep up the good work!
