In an empty restaurant we had to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated. There were only two employees. We came with kids at the late hour and wanted to eat after movie theatre. The wait was ridiculously long, so we had to leave without any attention except “hello, wait for a minute” which eventually turned out into much more.

I was a bit disappointed in my "Super" Bird Sandwich 😔 The bacon was "super" thin and skimpy. Not much turkey or tomato either. But our service was great! It was my sister's birthday. She had the breakfast skillet with coffee and my other sis had the Bourbon Sauce Burger, onion rings and a strawberry shake. They were both satisfied with their food. Our sides of fries and onion rings were tasty and adequate. As with most places, the prices are up. But I got 15% off of our ticket with the AARP card so that helped. What's with nearly $3.50 for coffee? I stayed with water. We wondered why there is no handicap assistance to open the door? Seems necessary where so many seniors go to eat...🤔 All in all it was a fun time and a good celebration 🎉🎉😊 I forgot to take pics.

Was sat right away, to where I could watch the football game. Ordered the nachos. I was disappointed the meat was very soupy. When the server asked if there was anything she could do, i asked for a new one. Took the plate back. Explained to the manager on duty what was wrong. He then came over very politely. Explained to me that the meat comes prepackaged and no matter what a new dish would come out the same. So he then asked if I would like something else. They suggested the sampler and so I got the sampler I was, please, with the sampler. Did not realize that the district manager was sitting at a table across from my table. He came over asked if everything was OK. Then shared with him everything and also shared his staff was amazing

When we arrived, the waitress was very kind and informed us that she would be bringing us our drinks, but when the night server got there, she would get our food order. There was only one other customer. Asked for coffee She made a fresh pot Coffee didn't come Asked for hot coco for the kids Hot coco came. No SILVERWARE for food or coffee/coco. Asked for soda WITH a STRAW. Soda came, NO STRAW. Coffee finally came. Coffee is cold. Shift change. I had to get my own silverware. Waitress followed the night waitress around complaining about her shift, ignoring us completely. Our once in a blue moon treat ended with disappointment and disgust. The only attention we got was when we decided to pay the bill abruptly. I don't know how the food was, because we never got to order. Went across town to the Lacey location, and it was packed full of smiling faces. We were too tired to wait, so we went home.

After 2 weeks of international travel, coming back to classic American diner food is so comforting. I grew up on Denny’s, and nothing has changed. The coffee was strong, the eggs were cheesy, the pancakes were tender and buttery, the country fried steak savory and delicious! No surprises here, nothing over the top, but that’s not what you come to Denny’s for. Our server, Shawna, was very friendly and the food came to us quick. This was exactly what I needed this morning, from the coffee to the hash browns.

This time they was swamped at 3am so we are getting. Beeped at by customers fir taking so long to deliver theyr food. But hey come on now man it's is for sure definitly one hundred percent 100% worth the little bit of a long wait for this amazing bomb dot com food..and the short girl with short blonde hair has a great attitude and makes our wait pleasant ...the bathrooms here are super clean. They smell so so fresh and so clean. I appreciate a good fresh clean rest room in public places...so overall still the best place around for good food good people good atmosphere

We never stop, just needed to fill the hole in the belly - Filthy, we only hoped the kitchen didn’t look like the parking lot or the floor inside, who’s the manager? Obviously a lazy one! Really nice waitress- coffee🤮.

The Mac and cheese is the stuff legends are made of. Every savory, smoky, sweet, and spicy bit hits all your taste buds like a Plinko token heading towards the jackpot. Whenever I have family visit from out of state, this is the 1st place we go."

Always wonderful service at this location and the food quality vs value is great. Need more staff but everyone there hustles and is very friendly. Faith is a favorite waitress of ours.

I’ll start with the fact that i understand that Denny’s is Denny’s and not some high class establishment but the service and food presented this morning was quite terrible. My boyfriend and I came from the hospital at 4am and were very hungry but that was quickly relieved when we saw the food. The toast was overly buttered to where it was drenched and soggy, and the eggs were almost completely raw to where I could see the clear still.

Shawna made my experience more wonderful then expected. You can tell she genuinely cares for the work she does! Made sure my special request was taken care of and didn’t make a big deal at all. I really appreciate her keeping my coffee full and checking back several times to make sure I was enjoying my time. Thank you!

We had a special breakfast Door Dash delivery. Everything was perfect! The cheese cake pancake bites are delicious we highly recommend! Biscuits and gravy were wonderful! The staff was amazing when we needed to call and ask a question. They were super friendly! I give this Dennys ☆☆☆☆☆

This is by far the best Denny's since the 90s. The food was great, the server was awesome & we didn't have to wait long. Huge menu and lots of variety. The lasagna is excellent.

Good place for a quick bite to eat. Not a lot of vegan options though

Last time I went to Denny’s I was a little shocked at the price of a sandwich. This time I got out with a belly full on biscuits and gravy and unlimited coffee for less than $10! Great please to meet up with a large group. Super friendly service too! Busy place on a Sunday morning .

One of the nicest/cleanest Denny's I've ever been to. Our server was surprisingly friendly & cheerful considering it wasn't quite 6 am yet. The cook was AMAZING. Our breakfasts came out hot, delicious & accurate to our special requests in around 10 minutes. Will be back & definitely recommend.

I went in for a quick breakfast and ordered coffee. I also order biscuits and gravy with cut up chicken tenders and two fried eggs on top. It was delicious and got me ready for my day. The waitress and hostesses were incredibly kind and very attentive. Upon check out, it was discovered that my wife, whom I'm waiting for a court hearing and have placed a protective order for my children after being a victim of domestic violence, placed a hold on my bank card. I called to clear up the confusion with the bank, but the hostesses cleared my charges and let me go about my day. All I could offer in return was a hug. Truly beautiful people here. You won't be disappointed.

Food is always what you expect. Waited a little longer this last time due to a party of twenty but the rest of the place was empty so it sort of didn't make sense. Wait staff are always nice but their prices have gotten a bit high for the quality.

What a terrible experience. My SO had the pot roast and it was dry. It was not a dinner! It was about 1/4 cup of potatoes and a 1/2 cup of bits of dry pot roast a carrot and a piece of garlic toast. The plate they served it on was dirty and it all fit on a salad plate(he ask for one to get it off the dirty plate. I had Bacon avocado burger and onion rings(5 very small ones.). The burger was ok. What a disappointment. We will not return and it was a complete waste of $40.

Well as I'm sure we all know Denny's has been around for a long time. I like the restaurant's for the most part. That being said all of them are not the same. This particular one has a dang good chef I will say that for certain. The food is very good better than most for sure. The waitress was very good as well very personable got the order right the first time and made me feel welcome for sure. The place wasn't extremely busy or loud just kinda plain. I enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend as a great place to dine.

Being a big foodie in a city I've never been too, this was the worst experience EVER!!!! What's wrong with this picture??? 🤔 (Was supposed to be 1 sandwich cut in half) Um..... can I have a FULL sandwich please??? When I told the other server about my cold side, and lack of a sandwich, she said she'd go grab me more meat, and to ask my server for a discount. (I would've thought it was a no-brainer, tbh) My server was nice, but VERY inattentive! I had to go up and get change and after waiting ANOTHER 20 minutes, I finally went up and grabbed the pitcher of water to pour into my empty glass. (From the previous 30 minutes) After wasting the last hour of my life here, I honestly don't think I'll be back. But maybe I'll leave her a $1 tip as a good will. Not coming back!!!

We come to Denny’s because of Shawna and the great food. Our first day in town we were lucky enough to sit in Shawna’s section and have been coming back ever since! The rest of the staff is helpful and amazing and the food always comes out right even with our funky substitutions! We appreciate Tumwater Denny’s! The best Denny’s we’ve been to by far!

Absolutely our favorite place to grab food in Washington state. We love to come every weekend and visit Shawna with our son! She makes us feel like family and the food is consistently great. All the staff is truly so nice!

We have been eating at this Denny's location for years! Not only is the customer service spectacular and the food excellent, but one person in particular always makes our experience memorable. Shawna always remembers our family and our orders, and is such a pleasure to chat with! She is attentive, professional, and always checks in to makes sure her customers are well taken care of! Dante is also a very amazing waiter!

I don’t leave many reviews. However, I swear this morning was maybe the best breakfast I have ever had at a Denny’s. Everything was on point. The service was great! The fruit was fresh. The eggs were perfect. I wish I could add a picture of my amazing food. But I ate it already. … Almost forgot server was Shawna. And Tom in the back. Gettin it done!

The ONLY reason for this number of stars is that the other 2 waitresses were the worst I've seen in years. Young waitress cut myself and another gentleman off instead of waiting for us to clear out. My waitress is Shawna Q. Haven't had better experience in years and the food was PERFECT. Training needs to be improved for the OTHER waitresses.

Stopped for dinner sometime around 9PM a few nights ago and went inside. It looked like a nice clean restaurant. Waitress said they were no longer seating because they decided to close early. (online it says closes at 10PM) Nothing was posted about this on the doors. If it was posted I would not have gone inside. Denny's is a chain that is known for being open at night and some franchises simply don't get this.

The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The service is friendly and food was served hot and delicious. Yummy! Great experience with my grand daughter. Will go again. Give this place a try. You'll be happy you did.

Was good pancakes and eggs. Gravy wasn't mixed up well, it had clumps of power in it. I felt sorry for everyone that were working here. They were doing their best to keep everyone taken care of. They are so short staffed. People who work here have only worked here a few months. They have to close at 8PM tonight because of staff shortages. If you or anyone you know is looking for a job please go talk to them, I've always enjoyed coming here to eat. They are a 5 out of the Denny's I've been to in the area. Only gave a 4 star because of the gravy, the cook was doing the best possible job with only the 3 or 4 people that were working at the time.

After a long weekend of helping my sister in law and her husband move, we decided to take a much needed break from cooking at home and went to Dennys. A little alarmed at the note on the door that said they had to close early due to being short handed we wondered what kind of service we would get, and how the food would be. But let me tell you, Clara Beth, and the two gentlemen working behind the scenes, were absolutely AMAZING. Not just with our party of 8, but the elderly couple who were behind us, and everyone else in the restaurant. Clara Beth knelt down at the table behind us and was incredibly patient with the elderly couple explaining the menu options with them, and never skipped a beat taking care of everyone else. The food was better than amazing, and the restaurant was very clean. You have an amazing crew for being short handed. Thank you so much for making our time out from moving such a positive experience.
